APPLICATIONS
Place the stand on a suitable surface, in the height of about 85 cm, out of
reach of children and incapacitated persons and plug the fork of the power
cord to the electric socket. Hold the milk frother A on the handle A3 and
shift lid A4 to remove it. Take adequate adapter C/D (see function in the
table above) and press it onto shaft A2, up to the stop. Pour milk into the
vessel below the mark (observe maximum amounts in the table above). The
minimum and maximum amount of milk is indicated MIN / MAX ( ) on the inner
wall of the vessel. Place lid A4 back onto the vessel and put the vessel onto
removable base plate B. Press the A1 button to switch the appliance to
function (heating), press the button again to switch to function (no heating).
Selected function will be highlighted by the relevant LED of the function. The
device starts whipping or, as the case may be, heating the milk. As soon as
the process is completed, the device will switch off automatically. The
process can be stopped by short pressing button A1 at any time.
Notice
- Lifting the container off the stand cancels all the set functions.
- When using the heating function, let the container cool down for 2 to 3 minutes before using it again. This will guarantee the correct function of the product.
- The adapter on the bottom of the vessel must be immersed in milk (min. 70 ml.).
- Overheating of the device can occur in case of insufficient amount of milk. Overflowing can occur in case of excessive amount of milk.
- If you want to prepare a cocoa drink, use only the C attachment and add the cocoa powder gradually while stirring the milk so that no powder remains at the bottom.
Note
- The amount and quality of the foam can strongly differ, depending on many factors, such as use of fresh or treated milk, content of milk fat, milk temperature and more.
- Do not use the milk that has been stored in a vessel for a long time. Always use fresh milk.
- We recommend using whole cow milk, fat content > 3.0%. Other kinds of milk (e.g. low-fat or skimmed milk) will have a different behaviour during foaming.
- The milk should be cold.
- The volume of milk will increase by foaming.
- If the milk foam seems to be very thin, wait for approximately 30 seconds. During this period of time, liquid milk can drop and the foam will have a better consistence.
- If the milk starts overflowing, switch off the device immediately, allow it to cool and then clean it (see IV. Maintenance).
MAINTENANCE
Unplug the appliance from power supply by taking the fork of the power cord
out of the socket! Clean the kettle only when it is cooled down! Do not use
rough and aggressive detergents (e.g. sharp objects, scrapers, diluting agents
or other solvents)! Also do not use any pressure cleaning equipment (e.g.
dishwasher). Clean the vessel and the adapter immediately after each use, thus
avoiding the rests of milk to become dry. Let all the parts dry properly after
maintenance. The surface colour will change over time which is normal. This
change does not affect the surface properties. It is not material defect of
the container and the appliance is not subject to a complaint for this reason.
Storage
Make sure that the appliance is cold and dry before storage. Store the
appliance in a safe and dry place, out of the reach of children and
incapacitated persons.
Expert service must do the large maintenance or to intervene into inside parts
of the appliance! Non-observance of the instructions of the manufacturer
cancels the right for guarantee repair!
