ALPHA ANTENNA HD Tripod Field Portable HF Antenna
The (Heavy Duty) HD-TRIPOD is highly specialized and customized to balance your antenna systems even in high winds.
Overview
Perfect for the Alpha Antenna models, including the HexTenna, FMJ, or Alpha Loop Line of systems.
- The extremely stable footprint only requires guying when very strong winds are present
- Three independently adjustable legs deploy a balanced tripod in uneven terrain
- Total deployable height of 5.25 feet (collapses to about 40ʺx6ʺx6ʺ)
- The heavy-duty clasp holds the tripod closed
- Integrated webbed shoulder carrying strap
- Step on each leg enables the spike under each leg to be driven into the ground
Assembly
- Lift the 3 Quick clamp release levers.
- Extend and pull each leg out till the tripod is stable for the current conditions.
- Then secure the legs with the clamps.
Note that the tripod’s legs can be deployed so that they are nearly flat on the ground for maximum stability when conditions demand it. Additional weight can also be placed on the legs for increased stability.
