Thank you for purchasing the Domibot series GPS drone.Please read this manual carefully before operating it, and please keep this manual properly for future adjustment and maintenance.

  1. This product is not a toy, it integrates expertise in mechanics, electronics, aerodynamics, high-frequency launching, etc. This drone integrates precise equipment, which requires proper assembly and commissioning to avoid accidents. The drone holder must operate the drone in a safe way, improper handling will cause serious personal injury or property damage. It may also be lost due to incorrect operation.
  2. This product is suitable for people who have experience in operating drone and over 14 years old.

Safety Precautions

This drone may be dangerous during use, please ensure that it is far away from any people or spectators when flying. Improper installation, poor use conditions, or unfamiliar operation of the user may cause damage to the aircraft or personal injury, and may also lead to accidents. Please pay special attention to flight safety and learn to identify more dangerous situations that may cause accidents due to your own negligence.

  1. Stay away from obstacles and people.
    During flight, this drone may change slightly in speed or sensitivity, and may cause potential hazards. Therefore, please stay away from crowds, buildings, trees, buildings, high-voltage lines and other objects. At the same time, please avoid using it under severe weather conditions such as heavy rains, thunderstorms, and strong winds to ensure the safety of users, viewers and surrounding properties.

  2. Keep away from humid environment.
    The interior of the drone is composed of many precision electronic and mechanical parts. Therefore, please try to avoid any moisture or water entering the fuselage, otherwise it may cause the mechanical and electronic parts to malfunction and cause an accident.

  3. 0nly use the included parts for the intended purpose
    Please use Domibot series original parts for modification or maintenance to ensure flight safety. Please operate and use within the range allowed by the product function. Use of unapproved parts will invalidate the warranty. Do not use the drone for any illegal purpose or beyond the scope prescribed by local laws and regulations.

  4. Avoid independent operation.
    Beginner may have some difficulties in the early stages of learning to operate this drone. Please try to avoid operating the drone independently. If conditions permit, please operate under the guidance of more experienced users.

  5. The owner of the drone should not operate under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
    Please operate this drone according to your own status and flying skills. Any fatigue, poor mental state or incorrect operation may increase the risk of accidents.

  6. When drone flying at the highest speed, please keep a safe distance.
    When the drone is flying at the highest speed, please keep the drone away from the driver and any people or objects around it to avoid danger or damage.

  7. Store in a cool and dry place.
    The drone is composed of materials such as metal, fiber, plastic, and electronics. Therefore, please stay away from heat sources and avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. Excessive heat exposure can cause deformation and damage.

These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference from residential equipment. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy, and if ii is not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, it may cause harmful interference to radio communications.
However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this device does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, you can confirm by turning the device on and off. It is recommended that users
try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures.

  • Relocate or adjust the receiving antenna.
  • Increase the distance between the equipment and the receiver.
  • Connect the equipment to an outlet on a circuit different from that of the receiver.

    23 It is recommended to use a mini USB 5V wall charger for charging. Do not use a charger that exceeds 5V.

Product Assembly
Blade installation / demolition

Blade installation:
Install the A blade on the fixed position of the arm A, press in place, Tighten the screws and lock them in place.
Install the B blade on the fixed position of the arm B, press in place, Tighten the screws and lock them in place.

Blade demolition :
Please turn the screw counterclockwise to remove the screw on the blade, and then remove the blade.
Tips: Please install the accessories properly in the order shown in the figure below, the blade have front and back sides, be care the direction of rotation. be careful to tighten the screws.

  • Make sure that the A and B blades are installed in the correct position. If install the blades improperly, the drone can’t take off.
  • Since the blade is thin, be careful to prevent accidental scratches when installing.
  • Please use the original blade provided by our factory.
  • Blade is consumable. If necessary, please purchase separately.

Charge the drone battery

Pull the battery out of the fuselage of the drone, plug the USB into the charger, and insert the battery into the USB output terminal. The red light of the battery is always on and the green light is flashing to start charging. When the charging is completed, the red and green lights are on for a long time, and the charging time is about 240 minutes .

Warning :

  • Do not charge the battery on the carpet to avoid fire. We will not take any responsibility for injury and damage, caused by the improper charging.
  • Insert the plug correctly. Do not insert in the reverse direction.
  • It is recommended to use the 5V 1-2Aadapter for charging. It is not recommended to use the computer USB port for charging.

Installation of Drone Battery
Push the battery into the battery slot of the drone, and the battery is fully clamped in the drone, The cover fully buckles the drone shell. Check to make sure the battery is in place.

When removing the battery, please press the arrow position and pull it out forcefully

  • When charging the rechargeable battery, please keep away from children, it must be carried out under adult supervision, and must be kept away from flammable materials during charging, and the guardian should not leave the battery outside the monitoring range when charging.

  • Please do not short circuit or squeeze the battery to avoid accident.

  • The power terminal should not be taken out of the drone, and the terminal should not be short-circuited; do not short-circuit, disassemble or throw the battery into a fire; do not place the battery in a high temperature or heated place (such as a fire or near an electric heating device).

  • The battery can only charge by the recommended charger,
    the battery and USB charging cable can’t get wet, The drone can be wiped with clean rag, pulling out the battery and disconnect from the charger before cleaning, periodically check the chargers wires, plugs, housing and others. If the part is damaged, stop using it when it is found to be damaged until it is repaired.

  • The USB charging cable is not a toy; the USB charging cable can only be used indoors.

  • The battery after the flight needs to be recharged before stored. If you don’t use the battery, it is recommended to charge the battery once at least in every 3 months to prevent the battery from being over-discharged and permanently damaging the battery.
    When storing the drone, the battery cannot be charged too full, the battery voltage is best at 7 .9V

Controller function introduction

Install the remote control battery
Remove the remote control battery cover, install the 4 Pcs AAA batteries(Not provided in the package) correctly according to the positive and negative terminals indicated by the remote control, and then re-install the battery cover.

Reminder: If the battery is not installed in place, it is likely to cause the drone to lose power and fall accidentally.

  • The remote control uses 4 “AAA” non-rechargeable batteries or “AAA” rechargeable batteries. (Not provided in the package)
  • Pay attention to the polarity of the battery when installing or replacing the battery.
  • Do not mix different conditions or types of batteries.
  • Used batteries should be removed in time, and discarded batteries should be thrown properly.
  • If y ou do not use it for a long time, please remove the battery to avoid damage to the product caused by battery leakage.

Remove the camera protective cover before flying
Please remove the cover before taking off, please be careful and gentle to avoid damage to the camera.

  1. Open the balancer cover
  2. Pull up the lid to open it, and then gently remove it.
  3.  After the flight, please replace the camera cover to protect the camera when not in use.

Pair the drone with the remote control.

  1. Insert the drone battery into the drone battery slot according to the electrode direction, place the drone on level ground, and press and hold the power button for two seconds to turn it on. The drone indicator light flashes quickly and then slowly.
  2. Turn on the power switch of the remote control, the remote is auto pair with the drone, the remote control indicator light is on, and the front indicator light of the drone is on. The pairing is completed.
  3. Long press the remote control speed adjustment button and turn on the remote control power switch, then you can switch to the right throttle mode.
  4. Long press the One key return button for 3 seconds to switch to indoor mode. Indoor mode means tum off the GPS support.
  • As long as the remote control and the drone are successfully paired, there is no need to re-pair when there did not pair with other drone or remote control.
  • When the remote control and the drone are pairing, please make sure that no other remote control and the drone are powered on at the same time, otherwise, an error will occur.

Drone initialization detection

After the drone is paired, place the drone on a level ground and enter the initialization test. At this time, the drone can complete the initialization test in about 8 seconds and enter the compass calibration.

Gyro calibration

After the remote pair with drone successful, place the drone on a level ground, and push the left and right joysticks to the five o’clock direction of the clock at the same time as shown in the figure below. Then, the front and rear indicator lights flash quickly, the gyroscope enters the calibration state, and the indicator lights change from flashing to stays on, the calibration is complete

When calibrating the gyroscope, be sure to place the aircraft on a level surface, otherwise it will affect the flight.

Compass Calibration

  1.  Each time you power on the drone, you must calibrate the compass, otherwise the drone will not be able to fly normally.
  2.  After the drone and the remote controller have successfully paired and completed the initialization test, the compass calibration can be entered.

Compass calibration is divided into two steps:

  1. Step 1: Compass horizontal calibration
    After the drone and the remote controller are successfully paired, complete the initialization test and perform the gyro calibration, then put the drone on the flat ground, press the Compass Calibration button.
    Then spin the drone by hand as shown below and rotate it counterclockwise horizontally for about 3 times until the remote control beeps and the rear indicator light of the drone stays on., the horizontal calibration is completed. The APP will also notify you.

  2. Step 2: Compass vertical calibration (Figure 2)
    Erecting the drone and rotate the drone by hand, as shownin the figure below, rotate the fuselage clockwise about 3 times until the remote control beeps and the front indicator light of the drone stays on. The compass calibration is complete. The APP will also notify you.

Note: The best distance between the ground and the drone should be more than 1 meter during calibration.

Search satellite signals :
After the compass calibration procedure is completed,
put the drone on the flat ground, the drone will automatically search for the satellite signal, the rear indicator light of the drone will change from slow flashing to steady light and the remote control beeps, then the search satellite signal procedure is completed. Unlock the drone by pushing the left joystick to left 45°and the right joystick to the right 45°at the same time(as the picture is shown),the motors will spin, then push the throttle stick up, the drone will take off.

Tips: Please make sure that the drone flies in wide-open space and the satellite signal is more than 7 stars show in the app before take-off. When the GPS signal is less than 7 stars, the drone cannot take off.

Application installation instructions

  1. Step 1: Please scan the QR code below to download the App name VS GPS PRO.
  2. Step 2: Connect the drone with your mobile device follow the steps below
  3. Tum on the drone.
  4. Go to WLAN setting in your mobile device and search the wifi name:”••
  5.   Connect the wifi (there are no password), the mobile device will connect with the drone via wifi. RAM JG and above.
  6. Launch the VS GPS PRO app, the you can control the drone from your mobile device from your mobile device

Warning: Your mobile phone Wi-Fi require support IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, which is SG band WLAN

Launch the app

After downloading the app, Go to WLAN settings, link the wifi transmitted by the drone, and then click to launch the app. The bottom of the APP homepage displays 3 function icon: control, Media, and help
Control: After the drone is connected to the mobile phone via wifi, click the “Start Flight Tour” icon to enter the operation interface.
Media: After clicking to media, you can view the pictures and videos taken by the drone.
Help: After clicking and enter Help, you can search for drone, view flight records, and APP operation instructions.

APP operation interface

Click the “Start Flight Tour” button to enter the operation interface, The screen of the mobile phone displays the current picture taken by the drone camera.

  • Back to homepage: Click to return to the main page (home page).
  • Flight record: Click to enter the flight record to view the flight record of the drone.
  • Connection status: When the drone is connected, it can display “device connected” here.
  • GPS satellite: indicates the current flight mode and satellite signal level; flashing indicates that it is currently in the Optical flow positioning mode. Auto return, follow me, surround mode, and waypoint flight mode can’t be used. Steady light indicates that it is currently in GPS mode.
  • Wifi signal: display the strength of the WIFI signal.
    Power: The power status of the drone.
  1. 2-4 bars indicate that the battery power is normal. In GPS mode, the functions of returning home, f ollow-around and pointing flight can be operated normally.
  2.  bar (flashing state) indicates that the drone is currently in a low battery state, and the drone will perform the automatic return to home function; in the low battery state, follow me mode, surround, or waypoint mode can’t be used.
    Parameter settings: Clicks to enter the settings page.

Follow: When the function is activated, the drone will use the GPS signal to follow your actions.
(Ensure that the smart phone is successfully connected to the drone, and open the APP on the smart phone)

  1. Ensure that the flight range is within 10-100 meters.
  2. Click “ · on the APP interface.
  3. Wait for the drone status on the APP to be displayed as “ready to follow”- Then the drone will move with the positioning coordinates on the phone.
  4. Click “ · on the APP interface again to exit the Follow Me mode.

Flight Step

  1.  Pairing the remote control and the drone, then the drone will automatically finish initializing.
  2.  Perform the Gyro Calibration procedure.
  3.  Download the APP and pair the drone with the mobile phone by Wifi.
  4. Performing the Compass Calibration procedure. Waiting for the drone automatically search satellite signals, usually 60-80 seconds (check the main interface of app, signals should be more than 7 stars ), until the rear light of the drone is steady on, signals receiving finish.
  5. Unlock the drone by push the left joystick to the 7 o’clock direction, and the right joystick to 5 o’clock direction at the same time, then push up the throttle(Left) stick of the remote control, the drone takes off.

Pre-Flight Inspection

  1. Ensure the battery of remote control and drone are fully charged.
  2.  Ensure the blades installed correctly
  3. Make sure the compass calibration is successful.
  4.  Make sure the GPS signal is more than 7 stars.
  5. After unlocking the drone, check if the motor is working properly. Note: Always keep the drone head forward

Flight Control

Flight Mode

Take off
After the drone is unlocked, press the “button and the drone will automatically take off and raise about 1.5 meters to hover

Surround mode

The drone flies 20 meters or higher from the ground. Press the surround icon in the APP and the direction of rotation of the drone will tum to the north. When the head turns back to the previous flight direction and hover in the air, push the direction joystick to the left , the drone will circle around you counterclockwise, push the remote control direction joystick to the right , the drone will circle around you clockwise. The drone is centered on the current position. Push and hold the direction joystick to left or right.the drone will accelerate to the fastest 2.5M/S according to the current speed. Push the direction joystick up to enlarge the radius of the circle. The maximum radius is about 20 meters.Pull down the direction joystick to reduce the circle radius, the minimum radius is about 5 meters, press the surround button again to exit the surround mode.

Headless mode

When you need to use the headless mode function, turn the head of the drone forward and the tail to yoursett before taking off. In the headless mode, you can avoid losing the aircraft when the drone is not clear about the direction. In headless mode, the drone indicator and tail light flash quickly, and the remote control prompts “dididi”, press the Headless mode again to exit.

Drone return home
The drone has a return home function. if the starting point is successfully recorded before take off, When the signal between the remote control and the drone is lost or the return button is pressed, the drone will automatically return to the starting point and land to prevent accidents.
The drone has three different return modes:

  1. One-key return (the drone will automatically return to the starting point by pressed the One-key return button)
  2. Low power return. (The drone will automatically return to the starting point, when drone is in low power)
    Starting point:
    During the take-off or flight, when the drone receive GPS signal strength is more than 7 stars, the current position of the drone will be recorded as the starting point.

One-key Return

When the GPS signal strength is more than 7 stars, the drone can be returned by pressing the one-key return button of the remote control shown as below figure. The one-key return process is the same as the out of control return, but the user can control the drone through the joystick to avoid obstacles. Press the one key return button again, you can exit automatic flight and the user can regain control.

Out of control return

When the GPS signal strength is more than 7 stars and the compass works fine, after the drone successfully records the starting point, If the remote control signal is disconnected for more than 6 seconds, the drone will automatically connect to the app control. If you turn off the app and there is no wifi signal at all, the drone will automatically return home. During the return process, the flight control system will take over control of the drone and control the drone to fly back to the starting point. If the remote control signal is restored during the flight, the return flight process will continue, but the user can exit the flight control system and regain control of the drone by press the one-key return button of the remote control.

Precautions :

  • The drone cannot dodge obstacles during the automatic return flight.
  • When the GPS signal is not good or the GPS function is not working, it cannot be returned.
  • If the drone does not receive the GPS signal and the remote control signal is lost more than 6 seconds, the drone will not be able to return to the starting point, and it will slowly descend, land

Low Power Return

  • The rear indicator light of the drone flashes slowly. At this lime, the remote control continuously emits “beep beep beep .. ” As long as the drone is fly higher than 20 meters or the distance is farther than 20 meters, the drone will automatically perform the return function. Fly back to the starting point.
  • When the voltage of drone below the safe value, the drone will automatically fall to the starting point.

Tops: When the drone is in a low-power state and returns to the starting point, the remote control cannot cancel the drone’s return.

Take Photo / Record Video

During the flight, the camera can adjust the shooting angle up or down, tum the gimbal knob to the left, the camera shooting angle up, turn the gimbal knob to the right, the camera shooting angle down, When the camera is at the maximum angle, no matter how you turn the gimbal knob, the controller will remain silent and stay still. During the flight, you can use the camera or video button of the remote control to capture the aerial image or video. Press the camera /video button and the remote control emits “beep” and the APP emits “KA”, the camera will take a photo. Long press the camera /video button, the remote control beeps twice, and the camera will start recording video. Long press this button again to exit the recording video.

It is recommended to separate the remote control and mobile phone for long- distance flight
