Overview of the R100
Power/Activity LED:
- Blue = on
- Blue flashing = infra-red (IR) command received/ Rl00 starting up.
- Red = standby.
- Analogue A/V output.
- Ethernet port.
- HDMI output.
- Reset button. Only for use under guidance from your service provider.
- USB port.
- DC power input 12 V l A.
Connecting the R100 to a TV
WARNING!
Before connecting or disconnecting the Rl00 to your TV using any kind of
cable, first turn off the RlO0 device, your TV, all other devices (A/V
amplifier etc.), and disconnect them from the mains electrical supply.
You have two methods to connect the audio and video outputs of the Rl00 to
your TV:
- HDMI: Recommended for best quality. Connect an HDMI cable from the HDMI output of Rl00 to the HDMI input of your TV.
- Analog A/V: Provides good quality composite video with analog audio left/right. Connect the 3.5mm jack to the A/V OUT port on the RlO0 and connect the yellow RCA plug to the yellow video port on your TV. Connect the red and white RCA plugs to the red and white audio ports on your TV.
Connecting the R100 to power supply
To connect your R100 device to your power supply, please follow the steps below:
- Plug the power cable into a wall outlet or extension power strip. Insert the power adapter into the socket in the nearest wall outlet or extension cord.
- Plug the other end of the power cable into your device (see image above).
- Power own device.
WARNING!
- The Rl00 must only be used with the power adapter provided with the product. Please confirm you have the right power adapter for your region. If you are unsure, contact your service provider.
- Connect the power adapter to the DC power input of the Rl00, then insert the power adapter plug into the mains supply.

- The product contains no user-serviceable parts. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.

Product disposal information – EU only
- Amino products are labelled in accordance with the WEEE Directive and therefore should not be disposed of with other household or commercial waste. For residential users: please remove any batteries and dispose of them – and the product in accordance with your local authority’s recycling processes. For further information please contact your local authority or the retailer where the product was purchased.
- For business users: business users should contact their supplier and check the terms and conditions of the purchase contract and ensure that the product is not mixed with other commercial waste for disposal.
