CONNECTING TO A COMPUTER (figure b)

Connect the keyboard’s USB cable to an available USB port on your computer.

The drivers for the keyboard will be installed automatically. The installation process will be displayed on the screen. Please wait for the process to complete.

Note. If the automatic installation of drivers does not start, connect the keyboard to a different USB port.
When you turn on the keyboard, the Num Lock indicator lights up.

MAIN FUNCTION

The keyboard is designed to control a computer or other device that supports the connection of an external keyboard.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS

Pressing the FN key in combination with certain keys activates additional functions (see table 1).

BACKLIGHT GAME MODES

Hold down the FN key and press the 1 to 8 key to select one of the eight preset backlight game modes (see Table 2). Depending on the mode, a certain set of keys is backlit.

  • A description of how to set the user backlight modes is provided below.

USER BACKLIGHT MODES

The user modes allow you to select the keys that will be highlighted when the mode is activated. There are two user modes. Use the key combinations FN + 9 or FN + 0 to activate the modes.
To set the mode, follow the next steps:

  1. Turn on one of the user backlight modes.
  2. Press FN + End to start recording. The keypad indicators will start flashing red. Next, press the keys for which the backlight will be turned on when the current mode is selected. To turn off the backlight, press the key again.
  3. Press FN + End again to finish recording and save your changes. The indicators will stop flashing.

The FN + ESC key combination is used to reset the user mode settings to their default values.

TROUBLESHOOTING

The keyboard does not turn on. Check the cable and plug for damage. Connect the keyboard to a different USB connector. Make sure the keyboard is compatible with your current operating system. Connect the keyboard to another computer.

SAFE USE GUIDELINES

It is strongly recommended that you follow these guidelines when using the keyboard.

  1. Do not press the keys with excessive force.
  2. Do not allow liquids to come in contact with the device.
  3. Do not disassemble the keyboard or try to repair it yourself.
  4. Do not drop, throw or bend the device.
  5. Use a dry cloth or a cloth dampened with a little water for cleaning. Do not use chemicals or harsh detergents. Perform cleaning only after disconnecting the keyboard from the computer.
  6. Do not place the device near heaters or open flames. Do not expose it to direct sunlight for long periods of time.

WARRANTY OBLIGATIONS

The warranty period begins on the date of purchase from a Seller authorized by Canyon. The date of purchase is the date indicated on your sales receipt or on the delivery note. During the warranty period repairs, replacements or refunds are at the manufacturer’s discretion. To be eligible for warranty service, the product must be returned to the Seller at place of purchase along with proof of purchase (receipt or bill of lading). DISPOSAL INFORMATION

This symbol means that you should follow the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) regulations when disposing of the device. According to the regulations, the device, its batteries and accumulators, and its electrical and electronic accessories must be disposed of separately at the end of their service life. Do not dispose of the device together with unsorted municipal waste, as this would be harmful to the environment. To dispose of the device and its batteries, return them to the point of sale or take them to your local recycling center.
