warranty you years of pleasure. Please read the instruction manual carefully
before you take the appliance into use. Save these instructions carefully!
All persons who have not read the instruction manual are not allowed to use
this appliance.
Pay ATTENTION to the warranty conditions.
SAFETY REGULATIONS
This appliance has been built in accordance with the European CE safety standards and is compliant with the general recognized standards and prescriptions with regard to the safety of appliances. As for all electrical appliances, the necessary precautions need to be taken in order to avoid accidents or damages.
ATTENTION: Even after the appliance has been switched off, there are still hot surfaces that pose a danger of burning. Therefore, allow the appliance to cool down completely before moving, cleaning or storing it.
- This appliance may not be used by children from 0 to 8 years old. This appliance may be used by children of min. 8 years old, only under continuous supervision. This appliance may be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge provided they are supervised or instructed to use the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years. Cleaning and maintenance shall NOT be made by children.
- The appliance is only intended for household use and similar applications excluding: staff kitchens in shops, offices and other work environments; farms; clients in hotels, motels and other residential environments; bed & breakfast environments.
- NEVER touch the control buttons, electrical power cord and plug with wet hands. NEVER immerse the appliance, the power cord or the plug in water (or any other liquid). They are only to be cleaned with a damp cloth. In case the appliance does get wet or moist, immediately disconnect the plug from the power socket.
- A damaged power cord can cause electric shocks. NEVER use the appliance if it is damaged, fallen or shows a malfunction, or if the power cord or plug are damaged. In all these cases return the appliance to your sales point or recognized after sales service.
- Immediately switch off the appliance and pull out the plug: after use or when the appliance is NOT in use, when cleaning the appliance and before moving it.
- Persons with pacemakers should stay away from the device whenever it is plugged in. If in doubt, always consult your doctor.
- The surface of the cooking plate is fragile, be careful not to break it. In the event of a crack in the glass plate, immediately pull the plug from the socket to prevent the risk of electric shock. Do not use the appliance and contact your sales point or recognized repairer.
- NEVER use separate timers or remote control systems.
- Only use the appliance with the correct mains voltage, as mentioned on the rating plate.
- The appliance may also be used outdoor, on the following conditions:
- The power cord should regularly be examined for signs of damage. If the cord is damaged, do not use the appliance anymore, but immediately return it to your sales point.
- The appliance must be connected to a socket-outlet having an earthed contact 230V.
- The appliance must be supplied through a residual current device (RCD) having a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA.
- After use, ALWAYS store the appliance indoors in a dry place.
- In case an extension cord is being used:
- Only use an extension cord with a diameter that is minimum equal to the diameter of the appliances’ cord and an integrated earthed plug, and with a higher power than the appliance.
- Take all necessary measures to prevent someone from tripping over the extension cord.
- ALWAYS unroll the cord completely.
- NEVER use the cord in the proximity of heat sources, such as ovens, stoves or heating.
- NEVER place the appliance near curtains, wall decorations, clothing, towels or other flammable objects.
- NEVER use the appliance near devices that are subject to magnetic fields, such as the radio, TV, etc.
- NEVER place the appliance on a tablecloth, alacemat, rug etc. This may block the air inlet or outlet and cause overheating.
- NEVER place the appliance on a metal surface to prevent overheating.
- Repairs can only be done by a recognized repairer or service center.
- Persons who haven’t read this instruction manual cannot use this appliance.
- Always place the appliance on a stable surface, like a kitchen table so that the appliance cannot shift or fall.
- Do not use aggressive cleaning products.
- NEVER let the electric cord hang over the edge of the table or counter.
- NEVER place metal objects, such as forks, spoons, lids, aluminium foil, etc., on the cooking plate.
- Make sure that the air outlet is not being covered. This can cause overheating. Always leave a space of at least 10 cm around the appliance for proper ventilation.
- Check the air outlet regularly to ensure that no dust gets into the ventilation motor.
- Make sure you ALWAYS use pots and/or pans that are suitable for induction hobs.
- Do not heat unopened cans or other airtight containers because of the danger of explosion.
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
You will find the technical information on the rating label at the bottom of the appliance.
BEFORE THE FIRST USE
- Remove all packaging and stickers.
- Keep packaging away from children.
- First check your appliance and the electrical cord for possible damages. If it is damaged, do NOT use the appliance but bring it back to your sales point.
- Clean the appliance with a soft, damp cloth.
- Ensure that the voltage marked on the appliance is the same as your main voltage.
- Make sure that you use pots and pans that are suitable for induction plates. You can test this very easily. When you hold a magnet to the bottom of the cooking pot and it sticks, the pot is suitable for induction cooking.
USE OF THE APPLIANCE
- Only use pots and pans with a diameter of at least 12 cm and no more than 26 cm.
- NEVER use the appliance with an empty pot or pan.
- Always place the cooking pot or pan in the centre of the cooking zone.
- When cooking on an induction hob, noise can occur. The noise differs from pot to pot and generally subsides after a few minutes of cooking.
- Plug in the power plug. All the LEDs will light up briefly, you will hear a short acoustic signal and “—-” will then flash in the display. The appliance is now in standby mode.
Operation of the appliance
- Switch the plate on with the ON/OFF button. The symbol “—-” in the display is no longer flashing, the appliance is now in operation.
- Press the “MODE” button to switch between power setting, temperature setting and time setting. The LED light shows which setting you have currently selected.
- When you select the power setting with “MODE”, you can use the rotary knob to choose the desired power level. There are 10 different power levels to choose from, see table below.

TIP: You can also easily keep your already prepared food warm by setting the temperature at 60-70° C.
Timer function
- To select the timer function, press the “MODE” button until the timer LED lights up. You can now use the rotary knob to set the desired cooking time, ranging from 1 minute to a maximum of 3 hours. The timer is activated as soon as you do not touch any button for a few seconds. When the timer runs out, you will hear a short beep and the appliance will go back into standby mode. You can also see this by the flashing “—-” on the display. It is perfectly normal for the fan to continue working in standby mode.
- If the setting is not changed for 3 seconds after the LED display has blinked, the last setting chosen is always applied. The display will alternately show the selected temperature and remaining cooking time or the selected power level and remaining cooking time.
- If you do not wish to use a timer, the appliance will automatically switch to standby mode after 2 hours.
- If you wish to stop the cooking process earlier without using a timer, you can simply switch the appliance off using the ON/OFF key.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
- First switch off the appliance and remove the plug from the socket.
- You can clean the cooking plate with a soft, damp cloth or sponge. If the cooking plate is very dirty, you can use a special cleaner for ceramic cooking plates.
- The rest of the appliance can be cleaned with a soft, damp cloth. The appliance should NEVER be immersed in water. Always alllow to dry completely.
- Remove any dust in the air inlet and outlet with a cotton swab.

If there is still a malfunction, do not use the appliance. Please address to

We are entitled to make technical modifications at all times.
WARRANTY CONDITIONS
Your warranty starts on the day of purchase and is valid for 2 years.
The user is responsible for cleaning and proper packaging of the defective
appliance before presenting it for repair. It is insufficient to wrap the
device in cardboard packaging with paper. Fritel is not liable for damage
resulting from insufficient packaging, which also irrevocably invalidates the
warranty.
Determination of the warranty
- The warranty covers every repair and/or replacement of the parts recognized defective by our Department of Service after Sale if the damage is due to faulty design, material or construction. The warranty is only valid for the first/original user.
- The transport costs, in case of reparation, are at the expenses of the purchaser.
- The warranty is only granted after presentation of your purchase invoice.
- The warranty cannot be invoked for normal wear and tear.
The warranty expires in the following cases
- Incorrect connection, e.g. electric voltages.
- Abnormal or professional use or misuse handling.
- In case of insufficient packaging and bad transport in case of return shipping.
- Lack of care and cleaning.
- Modifications or repairs made to the appliance by persons not authorized by us as a manufacturer.
- When reference numbers have been altered or been removed.
- For faults not due to the appliance itself, but to an external cause, collision, damage, fire, earthquake, flood, lightning, etc.
- When not respecting the instructions in the user instructions.
For appliances that are not under warranty for any of the above reasons, all costs (transport, administration, research, handling) will be charged.
ENVIRONMENT
Do not throw the appliance away with the normal household waste at the end of its life, but hand it in at an official collection point for recycling. By doing this you will help to preserve the environment.
LIABILITIES
All liabilities, towards both consumer(s) and third parties, that could result from not observing all the safety regulations prescribed in this user manual, can under no circumstances be charged to the manufacturer. In case of non- observance of these safety regulations, the user of the appliance, or any other person not having observed these safety regulations, protects the manufacturer from all responsibilities that he could be charged with.
