Introduction
Thank you for purchasing this quality product. To minimise the risk of injury
we urge that our clients take some basic safety precautions when using this
device. Please read the operation instructions
carefully and make sure you have understood its content.
Keep these operation instructions safe.
Product information
This pump convinces by newest technology, a stable product performance, a
compact design, a lightweight, and a versatile application possibility. The
pump can be easily connected to a car battery.
Safety instructions
This device is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
limited physical, sensory, or mental abilities or with lack of experience
and/or knowledge, unless they are supervised or instructed by a person
responsible for their safety on how to use this device. Children should be
supervised to ensure that they do not play with the device.
- Perform a visual inspection of the appliance before each use. Do not use the device if safety devices are damaged or worn. Never override safety devices.
- Use the device only for the purpose specified in this manual.
- You are responsible for safety in the work area.
- If the cable or plug is damaged due to external influences, the cable must not be repaired! The cable must be replaced with a new one. This work may only be carried out by a qualified electrician.
- The voltage of 230 V AC specified on the type plate of the device must correspond to the existing mains voltage.
- Never lift or transport the device by means of the mains cable.
- Make sure that the electrical plug connections are protected from moisture and flood.
- Disconnect the device from the power supply before carrying out any maintenance or repair work.
- Do not expose the product to direct water jets or rain.
- The operator is responsible for compliance with local safety and installation regulations. Ask a qualified electrician if necessary.
- If the device should fail, repair work may only be carried out by a qualified electrician.
- The unit must never run dry or be operated with the suction pipe fully closed. Any damage to the unit caused by dry running will invalidate the manufacturer’s warranty.
Warning! Read all safety instructions and instructions. Failure to follow the safety precautions and instructions may result in electric shock, fire, and/or serious injury. Keep all safety information and instructions in a safe place for future reference.
Commissioning
The temperature of the liquid pumped should not exceed +35 ℃ in continuous
operation. The pumping of aggressive liquids (acids, lyes, silo leach etc.),
as well as liquids with abrasive substances (e.g., sand), must be avoided.
Also do not pump any highly flammable liquids (e.g., petrol) with this pump.
The oil suction pump is suitable for a clean oil change or for pumping off
engine, diesel, and heating oil.
Attention!
- Danger of explosion! Do not pump petrol, petroleum, or other easily inflammable liquids!
- Ensure correct polarity when connecting the battery terminals!
- Always switch off the engine when vacuuming.
- Always heat engine oil before vacuuming!
- Never let the pump run dry. If the oil flow stops, switch off the pump immediately.
- Collect used oil in a sufficiently large container. Do not drain into the ground or sewage system!
Dispose of the waste oil in the waste oil collection point!
Note: The oil suction pump is designed for an operating time of approx. 15 min. Then allow the unit to cool down.
Operating the oil suction pump
- Before changing the oil, let the engine warm-up until the oil temperature has reached approx. 40–60 ℃.
- Switch off the engine.
- Connect the suction probe with suction hose to the suction port and the drain hose to the pump discharge port. To prevent the hoses from loosening, they are fixed with the enclosed hose clamps.
- Insert the suction probe into the dipstick tube and push it to the lowest point of the oil pan.
- Place the drain hose in a suitable container.
- Now connect the oil suction pump to the battery. Pay attention to the correct polarity (black terminal on negative pole, red terminal on positive pole of the battery).
- Switch on the pump and vacuum.
- After completion of the suction process, switch off the pump again. Never let the pump run dry.
- Fill your vehicle with new engine oil. Then check the oil level with the oil dipstick.
Note: After finishing the work, carefully clean the pump and accessories and store them in a dust-protected place.

Disposal regulations
EU guidelines regarding the disposal of scrap electric appliances (WEEE,
2012/19/EU) were implemented in the law related to electrical and electronic
equipment and appliances.
All WilTec electric devices that fall under the WEEE regulations are labelled
with the crossed-out wheeled waste bin logo. This logo indicates that this
electric equipment must not be disposed with the domestic waste.
The company WilTec Technik GmbH has been registered in the German registry EAR under the WEEE-registration number DE45283704.
Disposal of used electrical and electronic appliances (intended for use in the
countries of the European Union and other European countries with a separate
collection system for these appliances).
The logo on the article or on its packaging points out that this article must
not be treated as normal household waste but must be disposed to a recycling
collection point for electronic and electrical waste equipment. By
contributing to the correct disposal of this article you protect the
environment and the health of your fellow men. Environment and health are
threatened by inappropriate disposal.
Material recycling helps reduce the consumption of raw materials.
