INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING
- Risk of shock, do not plug in the unit before assembly.
- Do not exceed the maximum wattage rating. (NE PAS DEPASSER LA PUISSANCE NOMINALE MAXIMALE!)
MOUNTING THE LUMINAIRE, PLUG VERSION For hardwire go to

Carefully unpack your new fixture and lay out all the parts in a clear area. Take care not to lose any small parts necessary for installation.

Using the mounting plate (A-1) as a guide, mark the location of the drywall anchors. Pre-drill the holes for the drywall anchors.

Secure the mounting plate (A-1) to the mounting wall with two screws (D) and plastic anchors (E).

Install the cord cover pipe (F) and secure it on the back plate (G) with lock washer (H), and screw nuts (I) with the provided wrench (J).

Place fixture body (G) over the mounting plate (A-1) and secure with ball nuts (K).

Insert the cord cover (L) into the pipe (F) and secure it tightly.

Install a halogen bulb (M) into the socket in accordance with the fixture’s specifications.
DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE RATING! (NE PAS DEPASSER LA PUISSANCE NOMINALE MAXIMALE!) IN AN ONGOING EFFORT TO BE ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY AND IN COMPLIANCE WITH CALIFORNIA TITLE 20 AN ENERGY SAVING COMPACT LED BULB(S) IS INCLUDED. INSTRUCTIONS PERTAINING TO A RISK OF FIRE ELECTRIC SHOCK, EXPOSURE TO EXCESSIVE UV RADIATION, OR INJURY TO PERSONS.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
The lighted lamp is HOT!
WARNING: In the handling of a halogen bulb, care should be taken not to touch it with your bare hands. Oil residue will shorten the life of the halogen bulb. If you accidentally come in contact, wipe thoroughly with a clean, lint-free, cotton cloth. Allow the bulb to cool for 10 minutes before changing the bulb.
WARNING – TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE, ELECTRIC SHOCK, EXPOSURE TO EXCESSIVE UV RADIATION, OR INJURY TO PERSONS:
- Turn off/unplug and allow to cool before replacing the bulb.
- The bulb gets HOT quickly! Only contact switch/plug when turning it on.
- Do not touch hot lens, guard, or enclosure.
- Do not remain in the light if skin feels warm.
- Do not look directly at the lighted lamp.
- Keep lamps away from materials that may burn.
- Use only with a 50-watt or smaller bulb.
- Do not touch the bulb at any time. Use a soft cloth. Oil from the skin may damage the bulb.
- Do not operate the portable luminaire with a missing or damaged guard, lamp containment barrier, or UV filter.
MOUNTING THE FIXTURE, HARDWIRE VERSION

Shut off power at the circuit breaker and remove old fixtures from wall, including the crossbar.

Carefully unpack your new fixture and lay out all the parts on a clear area. Take care not to lose any small parts necessary for installation.

Remove the cord and plug by disconnecting the wire nuts to the cord.

Thread the screws (B) into the screw holes on the mounting plate (A-2). The side of the mounting plate marked “GND” must face out. Use nuts (C) to secure screws (B) into mounting plate (A-2).

Attach the mounting plate (A-2) to the outlet box and secure with mounting screws (D).
CONNECTING THE WIRES (Fig. 3) -
Connect the electrical wires as shown in Fig. 3, making sure that all wire connectors are secured. If your outlet has a ground wire (green or bare copper), connect the fixture’s ground wire to it. Otherwise, connect the fixture’s ground wire directly to the circular strap by using the green screw provided.
FINISHING THE INSTALLATION (Fig. 1) -
Place fixture body (G) over the mounting plate (A-2) and secure with ball nuts (K).

Insert bushing (L) into the hole in the fixture body (G). Install a halogen bulb (M) into the socket in accordance with the fixture’s specifications. DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE RATING. (NE PAS DE PASSER LA PUISSANCE NOMINALE MAXIMALE!)
Your installation is now complete. Return power to the outlet box and test the fixture.
IMPORTANT: THE FIXTURE SHOULD BE INSTALLED BY A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN TO ENSURE PROPER WIRING AND INSTALLATION.
