HAMMERSMITH M27791 Monster Tape
- Resistant, water-tested design for indoor and outdoor use.
- Excellent for hanging pictures and other decorative objects. Ideal for fastening furniture and carpets to prevent slipping, and for numerous other applications.
- Suitable for the following surfaces: wood, leather, mirror and etched glass, stone, ceramic and plastic surfaces.
IMPORTANT
Hammersmith Monster Tape adheres so well that the attachment is permanent when used on plasterboard, painted or wallpapered surfaces. Removing the Hammersmith Monster Tape could cause the paint or wallpaper to peel off, and leave residue. We recommend that you only use Hammersmith Monster Tape on such surfaces if you intend to attach something permanently. TIP: If you still want to remove Hammersmith Monster Tape at some point, we recommend first spraying water on the corners of the applied tape, and removing the tape as slowly as possible.
Warning: Before each use, check the adhesion qualities of the surface to be glued. In the case of easily removable, multi-coated or wallpapered surfaces, the coating may be able to peel off the substrate. No guarantee is given in the event that the coating comes off due to incorrect application.
PREPARATION OF THE SURFACE (#A)
For best results, clean the surface before application. Use a glass cleaner if you wish to use the Monster Tape on glass or stainless steel. Make sure that the surface is flat, dry and free of dirt and oil residues.
APPLYING THE HAMMERSMITH MONSTER TAPE
- Cut the Monster Tape to the desired length. Cut only one strip at a time.
- Attach the Monster Tape to the surface with the adhesive side facing down. Use enough Monster Tape to adequately cover the surface. Example: Apply the Monster Tape to all four sides of a picture frame, as shown above. Press down on all adhesive surfaces of the tape for at least 15 seconds.
- Peel off the protective film to reveal the other side of the adhesive.
- IMPORTANT: When attaching the object, press it firmly against the adhesive surface for 5 to 30 seconds to guarantee perfect adhesion.
- The Monster Tape can only be removed by slowly and carefully peeling it from the surface.
CLEANING AND STORAGE
In order to reuse the Monster Tape, the adhesive surface must be cleaned under running water. Then allow to air dry. Once dry, it is ready to be used again. Store the Hammersmith Monster Tape in a plastic bag after use.
IMPORTANT
- Do not use the Monster Tape on painted or wallpapered surfaces or plasterboard if you intend to remove it. Removing the Monster Tape can damage the surface or leave a residue behind.
- Monster Tape will not work on non-stick surfaces.
- Always use sufficient Monster Tape so that the object has enough of an adhesive surface.
- Monster Tape cannot be used on uneven surfaces. The Monster Tape must be completely in contact with the surface.
- Improper application can lead to damage.
Read and follow all instructions carefully when using Hammersmith Monster Tape.
