This product is for domestic indoor use only. If this product is used for any commercial, industrial, rental or other purposes, product warranty will be VOIDED.

or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of this product by an adult responsible for their safety. -
Mind your children and DO NOT let children play with this product.

Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

Check the voltage indicated on the rating label before using this product.

If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid hazards.

Unplug this product from the power source before cleaning and maintenance.

Contact German Pool authorized service technician for repair or maintenance of this product.
- WARNING! If the product surface (glass ceramic panel) is cracked, switch off the product’s power source to avoid the possibility of electric shock.
- WARNING! Metallic objects such as knives, forks, spoons and lids should not be placed on this product since they can get hot.
- WARNING! This product is intended to be used in indoor household ONLY.
- WARNING! This product is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or sepa-rate remote control system.
- WARNING! The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high when this product is operating.
- WARNING! If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
- When this product powers on but without pressing any control button, this product will stop heating automatically in 1 hour 45 minutes to 2 hours 15 minutes and goes into standby mode; this ensures the safety of the product.
- Single 13 A power jack must be used. DO NOT share power jack with other appliances.
- DO NOT apply water directly onto this product.
- DO NOT insert any wire or metal objects through air inlet or venting outlet of this product.
- Please avoid collision between this product and cookware.
- This product must be installed on a level surface, and a distance of at least 10 cm between the wall and the sides of this product must be reserved for venting purposes.
- DO NOT place or use this product near any heat source.
- DO NOT heat up any metal plate or other magnetic objects on this product to avoid getting burnt.
- DO NOT heat empty cookware for an extended time. Overheating of cookware will cause damages and injuries. This product will automatically stop heating when the cookware is too hot.
- DO NOT heat up unopened cans on this product. It may cause explosion.
- Unplug the power cord when this product is not use for long period of time.
- This product is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of this product by a person responsible for their safety.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they DO NOT play with this product.
- DO NOT use steam cleaner to clean this product.
- After use, please press the “On/Off” key to turn off the product.
- This product is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
- staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
- farm houses;
- by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments.

- *Once the cook hob panel reaches a certain temperature, the “Hot” Indicator lights up as a warning. After the mains has been switched off or the product has been unplugged, the “Hot” Indicator switches off.

Note:
- For ventilation purposes, keep the area surrounding the product clear of any obstacles.
- Make sure the power plug is accessible after installation.
- Power outlet must be reliably earthed.
- For ventilation purposes, leave an empty space of at least 250 mm high underneath the countertop cutout area.
- The area under the product must not be totally enclosed. The product should be installed so that air is able to enter the cabinet to keep the area underneath the inlet air vent well circulated.
Installation Procedure
- Make a cutout on the kitchen countertop according to the dimensions provided.
- Attach the sealant tape along the outer rims of the underside of the glass ceramic. Place the product over the cutout hole. Connect to the power source and the product is ready for use.
Note: Make sure the product’s venting outlet sits on top of the countertop, so that the product can exhaust successfully.
Operation Instructions
Choosing The Right Cookware
Choose a suitable electromagnetic cookware:
- Flat bottom cookware with 12 cm diameter or more is recommended.
- Bottom diameter should not exceed 25 cm.
- Cookware must not weigh over 6 kg (with food).
- Cookware material should be electromagnetic stainless steel, electromagnetic metal or cast iron.

Note: if the product detects inappropriate cookware or no cookware on the heating zone, display panel flashes “E1”, buzzer beeps and the product will not start operation.

- Touch to turn the product on and off.
- When product is turned on, On/Off Indicator lights up. When product is turned off, On/Off Indicator goes dark.

- Touch to increase power level or timer. Touch to decrease power level or timer.
- Default power level is 3, and default timer is 30 minutes.
| TIMER|
- Touch to start timer; touch and hold for 3 seconds to cancel timer.
- Timer can be set from 1 minute to 6 hours.
| LOCK|
- Touch to activate Lock, display panel shows “t”, and all other keys will not respond to touch.
- To inactivate Lock, touch and hold for 3 seconds, “t” on the display panel turns off.
- Connect to the power source. Touch to turn on the product. Buzzer beeps once, and product enters standby status. If product does not receive any further command in 1 minute, product will automatically turn off (all indicator lights go dark).
- Place appropriate cookware in the center of the cook hob. Touch and On/Off Indicator lights up constant. Touch or and product starts to heat up (default power level is 3).
- Touch or to adjust power level.
- To activate Timer function, touch and display panel shows“30”(min). Touch or to adjust the timer from 1 minute to 6 hours. Timer Indicator displays“01” to “99” when the timer setup is from 1 to 99 minutes, and the timer Indicator will display “2h”to“6h” when the timer setup is from 2 to 6 hours.
- After cooking is finished, touch to turn the product off. All indicator lights go dark, the cooling fan will turn off after a delay of 1 minute. Once the cook hob panel reaches a certain temperature, the “Hot” Indicator lights up as a warning.
Cleaning & Maintenance
WARNING!
- Before cleaning, turn off the power and wait until the cook-top surface has completely cooled down.
- If this product shows malfunction or needs maintenance or repair, disconnect from the power source and contact German Pool Customer Service & Repair Centre. Inspection and repair must be carried out by German Pool authorized technician only. DO NOT disassemble this product by yourself.
Note:
- DO NOT use rough cloth, scourge pad or abrasive tool to avoid scratching the glass ceramic.
- DO NOT use organic solvents or any cleaning products that contain chemicals such as benzene, gasoline, thinner, or corrosive detergent or solvent.
- DO NOT immerse or splash product directly with water.
- For general cleaning, wiping with a dry soft cloth is sufficient.
- Clean off any stain or food debris on the glass ceramic after each use. Wipe with a moist cloth, then wipe dry with dry soft cloth.
- For stubborn stains, clean with a moist sponge with diluted mild detergent, then wipe again with a moist soft cloth followed by a dry soft cloth.
Note : Over time, glass ceramic cook-top panel may become discolored due to one of the following situations. Operation of the product will not be affected as this is normal.
- Overheating or burning empty cookware
- Spillage not cleaned off immediately
- Cookware not clean
- Long period of usage
Troubleshooting
When you run into any problem operating this product, use the table below to troubleshoot the problem. If problem persists, contact German Pool Customer Service & Repair Centre.
Phenomenon | Possible Cause | Solution |

Power is connected and main power switch is turned on, but the product does not respond when On/Off button is pressed|
- Is there a power outage in your area?
- Is there a short circuit in the power source of your home?
- Is the power plug too loose or not connected well?

- Try again after power supply resumes
- Find out the cause of short circuit and eliminate it before switching on the product again
- Re-connect the plug or replace the power socket
Buzzer beeps continuously and cookware is not heated|
- Is the cookware not suitable for induction cooking?
- Is the cookware positioned properly?

- Use an appropriate cookware
- Position the cookware in the centre of cooktop
Product stops heating in the middle of normal operation|
- Is the cookware empty or cooking temperature too high?
- Are the air inlet and outlet being blocked?
- Is the room temperature too high?
