Device installation
- Connect the mouse to the computer via the USB port using a cable or USB receiver and wait for the system to detect it and automatically download and install the drivers.
- The mouse is ready to use.
Software installation
To get the full possibilities of device configuration, download and install the dedicated software from the website www.savio.net.pl/en/ download. Once downloaded, double-click the file”s icon and follow the directions. After a successful installation, the software icon will be displayed on the system tray. Double clicking on the application icon will open the interface with the settings.
DPI change:
To change the DPI value, press the button on the top of the mouse above the scroll. The mouse will signal a successful change of the DPI level by changing the illumination color of the logo on the mouse’s back. The values of DPI levels and backlight colors can be freely configured through the software.
Changing the backlight mode:
In order to quickly change the LED strip illumination effect, press the button on the bottom of the mouse. To turn on the full illumination of the mouse in wireless mode, move the switch on the bottom of the mouse to the middle position. To turn off the mouse backlight completely in wireless mode, set the switch to the upper position. To take full advantage of the configuration options, use the appropriate options in the software.
Dual mode:
The Savio Rift gaming mouse is equipped with Dual Mode, which means that you can use it both wirelessly and after connecting the cable to the computer. In addition, thanks to the USB adapter that is included in the set, you can quickly switch between modes by connecting the receiver to it and keeping the cable on the desk. Now bending down to the computer each time to re-plug the receiver with the cable will not be necessary.
Wireless mode:
In order for the mouse to work in wireless mode, connect the USB receiver to
a free USB port of the computer or using the cable and USB adapter included in
the set. To turn on the mouse, set the switch on the bottom of the mouse to
the middle or top position. For best results in wireless mode, it is
recommended to keep the receiver plugged into the adapter on the desk close to
the mouse.
Wired mode and battery charging:
When the mouse battery is discharged, you can connect it to a computer with a
cable and use its full capabilities in wired mode. Connecting the mouse with
the cable will automatically initiate the charging of the device, which will
be signaled by the red diode under the mouse scroll lighting up. Fully
charging the device·s battery will turn off the red LED.
Note: If the mouse is not used for a long period, the battery should be
charged once every 3 months. Long-term storage at a low level charge of the
battery or using chargers with a power greater than 5V lA may damage the
battery.
