In order to correctly install the kit in the computer, the 12 V  and 5 V lines must be connected in this order, so that the connectors of the master fan are connected directly to the motherboard.
  • By default, the fans are set to control mode via the motherboard (3-pin ARGB 5 V), to switch to control mode using the RESET / LED button, go to section “backlight selection  control modes”.

  4. Connect the master fan to the 4-pin 12 V socket on the mother- board and also connect the SW lines with the LED / RESET cable from your case (option for motherboards without a 3-pin ARGB 5 V socket).
  5. Connect the SATA power supply for the master fan. 4.6 Select one of two available fan control option.

Fans backlight control:
The fans have two variants of backlight control.

  1. Backlight control by motherboard:
If the motherboard has 3-pin ARGB 5 V socket, the backlight can be controlled by using a dedicated motherboard software.

  2. Backlight control by manual mode using the RESET button or the LED on the PC case.
If the motherboard does not have a 3-pin ARGB 5 V connector, the backlight can be controlled using the RESET or LED button (if the computer case has a dedicated button) located on the top of the housing.

ATTENTION!
If this control method is selected, after turning off the computer, the backlight colour of the fans will not be remembered and the basic colour will be restored.

Backlight selection control modes.
