APPOINTMENT OF THE DEVICE

An electric fan heater is intended for heating and ventilating spaces of the room, for drying the air, walls and surfaces in the room.
Electric fan heaters are the best solution when carrying out construction work, for heating warehouses and hangars, workshops and services, and also for heating rooms and creating comfortable temperature during cold seasons.
The device is convenient to use and easy to install, economical to use due to minimal energy losses, increased heat dissipation and efficient distribution of air flow.
Depending on the power, the device can be used in domestic, industrial, warehouse and service premises.
The main advantage of the electric fan heater is that it is able to create a directed large warm airflow, providing fast and efficient heating of large areas.
The electric fan heater has a sturdy external metal housing protected against corrosion. Air is heated in the inner casing, when passing through the heating elements, using a low-noise electric motor with a metal impeller, which takes air through the holes in the air intake grille and blows it through the holes in the air outlet. Additionally, the device is equipped with a temperature limiter, which turns off the heating elements in case of overheating. The device has a convenient handle for moving.

ELECTRICAL CONNECTION

  1. Before connecting the device to the mains, make sure that the parameters of the power supply at the connection point correspond to the parameters indicated on the rating label with the technical data of the device.
  2. Connection the device to the electrical network should be carried out only by qualified specialists in accordance with “Rules for the installation of electrical devices” and “Safety Rules for the operation of electrical devices operating at voltages up to 1000V ~.”
  3. Before connecting the device, make sure that it is properly grounded. Proper grounding is important to minimize electric shock and fire danger.

Residual current device
WARNING!
In order to protect against electric shock, devices with electric heating can be equipped with an RCD with a leakage current of 100-300 mA.
If the device is connected to the network through a residual current device (RCD), operating according to the leakage current, and when it is turned on, it trips, this may occur due to moisture in the insulation of the heating elements. This is usually the result of long storage in wet conditions. This cannot be considered as a malfunction and is eliminated by temporarily turning on the device without an RCD. Drying can take from several hours to several days. In order to avoid moisture accumulation during long breaks in operation, it is recommended to periodically turn on the device for a short period time.
ATTENTION!
The electrical outlet must be enough for rated current of at least 10A (for models up to 2000W), and at least 16A (for models with power higher than 3000 W).

Power mode knob 2000 W
Used to select the following power modes: ventilation , low heating power (1), high heating power (2).
Set the knob to “1” position to select 1000 W power mode
Set the knob to “2” position to select 2000 W power mode
3000 W
Used to select the following power modes: low heating power (1), medium heating power (2), high heating power (3).
Set the knob to “1” position to select 1000W heating power mode
Set the knob to “2” position to select 2000W heating power mode
Set the knob to “3” position to select 3000W heating power mode
Thermostat knob
Used to set the room temperature.
The required air temperature in the room can be set in the range from 0 to +40 °С. In the heating mode of the device, turn the thermostat knob clockwise to the stop, while if the room temperature is below the set temperature, the heating elements should turn on. When the room temperature reaches the desired level, turn the thermostat knob counterclockwise until the heating elements turn off. The thermostat will now maintain the set temperature automatically by turning the heating elements on and off while the fan motor is running. In particularly cold weather, the appliance may not be able to fully heat the room. In this case, set the thermostat to a level slightly higher than desired.
Overheating protection
The appliance is equipped with a device for switching off the heating elements in case of overheating of the case. Overheating of the case can occur from the following reasons:

  • the inlet and outlet protective grilles are closed by foreign objects or became very dirty;
  • the thermal power of the device exceeds the heat loss of the room in which it works;
  • Faulty fan motor.

After the emergency shutdown device is activated, the device automatically turns on after 5-10 minutes.
ATTENTION!
Frequent triggering of the emergency shutdown device is not normal mode of operation of the curtain. In case of constant triggering of the thermal limiter, contact an authorized service center.
Turning Off
Turn the thermostat knob counterclockwise to the stop, let the device work for 3 minutes in ventilation mode, to cool down the heating elements, then set the power mode knob to “0” position and unplug the device.
ATTENTION!
The first time the device is turned on, a specific odor and smoke may appear (oil is burned from the surface of the heating elements). It is recommended to turn on the device in heating mode for 10-20 minutes in a well-ventilated area before installation.

MAINTENANCE

Before starting a cleaning, make sure that:

  • Power mode switch is set to «0» («OFF») position and the unit is unplugged.

Recommendations for regular cleaning:

  • Disconnect the unit from the mains by unplugging the power cord from the electrical outlet, allow the device to cool, then wipe it with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
  • It is not recommended to use detergents, including abrasive compounds for cleaning
  • Do not damage the surface of the device with sharp objects.
