UNIQUE FEATURES & SPECIFICATIONS
UV-C TECHNOLOGY
Ultraviolet (UV) light is a short wavelength light invisible to the human eye.
It kills up to 99.9% of bacteria and viruses. There are cold-, heat-, and drugresistant
germs. There are no common UV-C resistant germs.

REVOLUTIONARY LED TECHNOLOGY
Environmentally friendly, and is mercury and chemical free.

RECHARGEABLE
This battery-powered sanitizer can run up to 30 sanitizing cycles per charge,
all while you’re on the go! This product will not sanitize while it is charging.

PROPRIETARY POP UP
Through research, simulations and third-party lab testing, we’ve derived the
maximum sanitization efficacy between light dispersion angle and UV-C
intensity. Our pop-up mechanism ensures optimal ultraviolet light exposure
across the surface or object. So popping up your wand provides maximum
efficacy.

ULTRAFAST SANITIZATION
Kills up to 99.9% of viruses and bacteria* at the DNA level in less than 5 seconds.
Slowly sweep the wand over any surface or object for maximum sanitization.

SAFE
Childproof safety feature ensures device can only be used when the two side
buttons are pressed and held after the top power button is pressed. After the top
power button is pressed, the side buttons must remain pressed in to sanitize.

ANTIBACTERIAL COATING
All exposed components of this product feature an antibacterial coating so your
hands stay germ free.

TROUBLESHOOTING

FAQS
HOW DO I KNOW IF THE WAND IS WORKING?
The light ring will flash blue indicating the UV-C LEDs are on and
sanitizing. Use the UV-C test strip for proof of the UV-C LED’s effectiveness.

LED INDICATOR KEEPS FLASHING RED. WHAT DOES IT MEAN?
Flashing red means the safety mechanism is not engaged. Please make
sure to press and hold both side buttons after a short press of the power
button.

IS THIS SAFE TO USE ON ELECTRONIC DEVICES?
Yes, UV CLEAN uses UV-C light, not water or chemicals. UV-C light kills germs
and is completely safe for use on electronic devices.

WHAT CAN IT SANITIZE?
The UV CLEAN Portable Sanitizer Wand was designed to sanitize just
about anything. Use it to sanitize any surface or object. UV-C light is
harmful to the eyes and skin. Avoid direct exposure. For more information
about how UV-C works, please visit www.HoMedics.com.

FAQS (CONT.)
WILL IT SANITIZE IF IT’S NOT POPPED UP?
Yes, the wand will still work and the UV-C LEDs will still turn on if the wand
buttons are pressed correctly according to instructions. However, if it is not
popped up, then the coverage area of the UV-C light is greatly reduced.

CAN I RUN MULTIPLE CONSECUTIVE SANITIZING CYCLES?
Yes, you can! Though the first slow sweep over something will have
sanitized the surface or object up to 99.9%, there is no harm in doing it
again if you wish.
