  • Swallowing the button cell battery can be lethal. Do not store in a place that can be reached by children. If swallowed, please consult your doctor immediately.
  • If any fluids from the battery comes in contact with an eye, please consult your doctor immediately. If it comes in contact with skin or clothes, please wash with water.
  • Please have the parents or guardians change the batteries.
  • Please do not use old batteries with new batteries, or use different battery brands together.
  • Please set the battery in its proper + and – position.
  • Do not short-circuit, recharge, dismantle, heat, or place the battery into a fire.
  • Please follow your local district and area rules when discarding the product or batteries.
  • Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
  • Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the toy.
  • The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.

Do not douse the product in water or wet the product. Do not use or place the product in humid or high-moisture conditions. Please be careful not to place the “Piapro Characters x Tamagotchi Hatsune Mikutchi” in your clothes and wear to avoid washing or drying of the product.

  • We are not responsible for loss of data from use of the product.
  • Discard plastic packaging immediately after opening.
  • Do not place the product on resin treated products such as sofas, seats, and tiles. Long-term exposure may discolor the product.
  • Do not forcibly pull or bend moveable parts or attachments.
  • The battery included is only for demonstration purpose. Please replace the battery if the screen does not show properly.
  • The product is composed of various electronic components. Do not drop, wet, dirty, or dismantle the product. Do not use or store the product under extreme temperatures.
  • Please press the reset button if the product encounters an error.
  • Clock precision: ±10 seconds daily

Hatsune Mikus Arrival

  1. Pull out the tab from the casing.

  2.  sound will ring, and the time setting screen will appear.

  3. Reset instructions Press on the reset button on the back of the casing with a thin-tipped object to perform a reset.

  4. sound will ring if successful.
    Do not press hard on the reset button using sharp objects, such as mechanical pencils, to prevent damage to the device.
    Please press the reset button after changing the batteries.

  5. Setting the clock Use the A button to set the time in order of “hours” → “minutes”. Use the B button to confirm the changes. Press the C button to return a step back. **Be sure to set the time properly to “AM” or “PM”.

  6. Hatsune Miku’s Arrival Once the time is set, Hatsune Miku’s ROM will be read by the computer, Hachune Miku will arrive, and lastly Hatsune MIku will arrive
    Please refer to “Reset instructions” if the device or screen doesn’t function properly. There is no save function to the product. Please be warned that changing batteries or going through the “Reset instructions” will reset your current play data.

CLOCK CONTROL

To view the time
Press the B button while Hatsune Miku or Piapro character is on screen to open the clock screen. Pressing the B button again will return you to the Hatsune Miku or Piapro character display screen

Setting the clock
Press the B button to transition to the clock screen, then press the A button while the C button is pressed to transition to the clock setting screen. To set the time, please follow the instructions under “Setting the clock” (see “2. Hatsune Miku’s Arrival”).

Turning the sound on and off

Press the A button while the C button is pressed while “Hatsune Miku or Piapro character” is on screen to transition to the sound select screen. Use the A button to select between “ON” or “OFF” then press the B button to confirm the change.

Please be warned that turning the sound “OFF” will prevent the character call from making a sound

CHANGING BATTERIES

Low batteries may cause the screen to go blank and may lead to loss of controls. Please replace the batteries when the replace battery icon is displayed.

  1. Remove the battery cover located on the back of the device.

  2. Use and turn a screwdriver in the direction of the arrow,

  3. Remove battery cover.

  4. Remove the batteries and replace them with new batteries (2 x LR44 batteries; sold separately) making sure that the and of the batteries are properly set.
    Always replace both batteries at the same time.

  5. While making sure the hook of the cover is properly set on the back of the device, turn the screw driver in the opposite direction as ①-1 to close the cover.

After replacing the batteries please reset the device. (see “2. Hatsune Miku’s Arrival”)

How to take care of Hatsune Miku or Piapro character

Call
When Hatsune Miku or the Piapro character calls for you, you will need to take proper action depending on their state. If you miss a call, press the C button to confirm Hatsune Miku or the Piapro character’s status

Musical Note

If Hatsune Miku or the Piapro character is weak, press the A button to open the menu screen, then press the A button to scroll to and B button to confirm, to give them a Musical Note. You cannot give a Musical Note when they have sufficiently received Musical Notes, they are sleeping, there are unwritten music, they are timid, or right before saying good bye.

Psyllium
If Hatsune Miku or the Piapro character is unhappy, press the A button to open the menu screen, then press the A button to scroll to and B button to confirm, to cheer them on with Psyllium. You cannot cheer them on with Psyllium when they are sleeping, there are unwritten music, they are timid, or right before saying good bye.

Lights
When Hatsune Miku or the Piapro character sleeps, press the A button to open the menu screen, then press the A button to scroll to and B button to confirm, to turn off the lights. When they are sleeping, the only options available are, Lights options, clock controls, and sound controls

Unwritten Music
Unwritten music will appear on screen periodically. When there are too many Unwritten music on screen, Hatsune Miku or Piapro character will act timid, so make sure to clean up by pressing the A button. You cannot perform cleaning while they are sleeping, acting timid, or right before saying good bye

Mini Game
Play the three mini games. Press the A button to open the Menu, then press the A button to select and B button to confirm. Three options will be displayed

  • Minigames cannot be accessed when there are unwritten notes, when they are sleeping, acting timid, or right before saying good bye.
  • The “Stage Challenge” mini game can only be played during performance time. (Daytime performance: 1:00PM to 3:00PM / Nighttime performance: 6:00PM to 9:00PM)

Mini Game Vocal Lesson
Rapidly press the corresponding button that gets displayed on screen to do some vocal training. (When either A or B is displayed twice, press button twice) If you can press the buttons correctly you will succeed. Directions will be displayed 5 times. Pressing the wrong button or not pressing the buttons quick enough will prevent good singing

Mini Game Musical Note Catch
Move the cursor to catch the falling musical notes. (Press A button to move left, press B button to move right) If you can collect 10 musical notes you succeed. If you fail to catch even 1 musical note, it will be considered a fail.

Mini Game Stage Challenge
The “Stage Challenge” mini game can only be played during performance time. (Daytime performance: 1:00PM to 3:00PM / Nighttime performance: 6:00PM to 9:00PM) When the Psyllium is pointed straight upwards press the A or B button. A succesful button press will make the Psyllium light up and the music will continue to play. When you get 5 presses it will be considered a success. Pressing the button when the Psyllium is not straight or not pressing the button fast enough will result in a fail and the music will stop.

Friends
Periodically, you will be allowed to see what other characters are doing. Press one of the buttons once you are done.

Timid
Not cleaning unwritten notes or not caring for Hatsune Miku or the Piapro Character, will cause them to act timid. In order to fix this, continuously press the A button to apologize to them. If they stay timid for too long, you will be forced to say good bye to them.

  • When they are acting timid, the only available options are clock and sound options.
  • Right before saying good bye, all controls will be disabled.

Good Bye
If Hatsune Miku or the Piapro Character stays timid for too long or become timid too many times, they will be uninstalled and you will be forced to say good bye to them

If you want a new Hatsune Miku or a Piapro Character, press the A button while pressing the C button. This will replay the ROM installation screen

Depending on how youcareforand how many minigames you played, a Mikuwithadifferent costumeor adifferentPtapro character will bedisphyed!
