IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Please, read this manual before using the device. This manual contains important information regarding your safety, as well as recommendations concerning the correct use and maintenance of this appliance. Keep this manual together with a warranty card, cash register receipt and, if possible, carton and packaging material. This instruction manual describes different types of this device. The device you purchased may differ slightly from the description in the manual, which does not affect the methods of use and operation. The manufacturer reserves the right to make minor changes to the device without additional notice which is not fundamentally affect its safety, performance and functionality. There may be some misprints in text and digital notations in the present manual.

Important safeguards and descriptions contained in this manual do not include all possible situations that you may experience using the device. The manufacturer is not responsible for damage of the appliance or its parts during transportation, as a result of incorrect installation or voltage fluctuations, as well as when any part of the appliance has been changed or modified.
NOTE
There is a label on the device which has all the necessary technical data and other useful information about the device. Use the appliance only for the purpose specified in this manual.

SAFEGUARDS

When using an infrared heater, a number of safety precautions must be observed. Improper operation by ignoring safety precautions can result in damage to the health of the user and other people, as well as damage to their property. The manufacturer is not responsible for damage to health and property damage resulting from improper installation and operation of the device.

  1. Read these instructions carefully before using the appliance to avoid damage during use.

  2. Before starting up for the first time, check that the specifications on the product comply with the power supply specifications.

  3. Do not use the device outdoors or in high humidity areas.

  4. Always unplug the device before assembling, disassembling and cleaning, or if you are not using it.

  5. Do not use accessories that are not supplied.

  6. When disconnecting the appliance from the mains, do not pull on the power cord, grasp the plug. Do not twist and do not wind it on anything.

  7. The temperature of the heating element during operation of the heater is very high. To avoid burns, do not touch the surfaces of the device with your hands and other parts of the body, and also prevent the possibility of touching the radiating plates of the heater by an accidental person by instructing and placing the heater in an inaccessible place.

  8. The heater should be located away from curtains, flammable and easily deformable objects.

  9. Make sure that the power cord does not touch sharp edges or hot surfaces.

  10. Make sure that the heater body and its radiating plates have cooled down before the heater is dismantled and packed in its packaging for long-term storage.

  11. When dismantling or moving the heater, be especially careful not to let the appliance hit or fall.

  12. When the device is not in use for a long time, store it in a cool, dry place in the original cardboard box. If the device was at a temperature below 0ºC for some time, it must be kept at room temperature for at least 2 hours before turning it on.

  13. ATTENTION! DO NOT COVER THE DEVICE while it is operating. Do not dry clothes or any other fabrics and materials on it. This can lead to overheating, failure, or significant damage to you and / or your property.
    ATTENTION!
    The manufacturer considers this type of breakdown as a non-warranty case.

  14. Connection of the heater to the mains must be made to the mains with a circuit breaker.

  15. Never connect the heater to the mains if heater’s surface is wet.

  16. Do not attempt to repair the device or change its parts by yourself. To repair the product, contact an authorized service center.

  17. It is forbidden to operate the heater in rooms with explosive environments, with dusty environments, and also with environments that cause corrosion of materials.

  18. Do not operate the heater without grounding.

  19. It is forbidden to turn on and operate the heater with the removed cover.

  20. It is forbidden to install and use the device in bathrooms, showers or pools, precisely in those places where there is a possibility of direct hit of jets and drops of water on its surface during the time when the device is turned on.

  21. It is forbidden to operate the heater in dusty rooms and during home improvements.

  22. It is forbidden to touch the heating element of a working (switched on for heating) heater.

  23. Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock, or personal injury.

  24. Never clean the heater when it is connected to the mains.

  25. For normal operation of the device, the voltage level of the mains must be proper, and its technical parameters must be in strict accordance with the technical parameters indicated on the device. If necessary, find out the characteristics of your network from your electricity supplier.

  26. It is forbidden to install the device near or under the electric socket. This can lead to overheating of the socket, which will create an emergency situation.

  27. The device is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or in the absence of their life experience or knowledge, unless they are supervised or instructed on the use of the device by the person responsible for their safety. Children must be supervised to prevent playing with the appliance.

  28. Do not turn on the device if its power cord or plug is damaged. If the power cord or plug is damaged, to avoid danger, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, authorized service center, or similar qualified personnel.

  29.   CAUTION! Some parts of this product can become very hot and cause burns. Particular attention has to be given where children and vulnerable people are present.

  30. WARNING: This heater is not equipped with a device to control the room temperature. Do not use this heater in small rooms when they are occupied by persons not capable of leaving the room on their own, unless constant supervision is provided.

An electric infrared heater is designed for general, additional, or local heating of living and industrial rooms of all types. This heating appliance is efficient in use thanks to minimum losses of electric power.

CONNECTION TO ELECTRIC MAINS

  1. The heater is designed for connection to the single-phase 220V~, 50 Hz electric mains.
  2. Connect the heater to electric mains using power cord with plug.
  3. Connect the plug to electric outlet.
  4. Before connection, make sure that specifications of the electric mains meet the parameters indicated on the appliance nameplate.
  5. The electrical outlet must be rated for the appliance’s rated current. The electrical socket and plug must always be kept dry to prevent leakage of electric current.

  1. Connect the power plug to the outlet. Do not use the device on unstable surfaces, near easy flammable objects, or easy breakable objects
  2. Chose the desired heating mode by turning the control knob\pushing the button

T-IR1000-D10HU operation

  1. Unpack the device carefully
  2. Install the device on flat and dry surface, take out the stand from the rear part of the device. Connect the power plug to the outlet
  3. Using the control knob select the desired heating mode: low power (1), medium power (2), High power (3)
  4. To turn off the device turn the control knob to 0 position and unplug the device

MAINTANANCE

Before cleaning make sure that control panel is on “0” position and device is unplugged

Recommendations for regular cleaning:

  • Take out the plug from the socket, let the device cool down, wipe is body with soft, slightly damp cloth
  • It is not recommended to use detergents, incl. abrasive products
  • Do not damage the device with sharp objects

TROUBLESHOOTING

Possible malfunctions and methods of removal are given in Table 2.
If you are not able to remedy a malfunction according to the recommendations or other malfunctions occur, contact the authorized service center.

After the lifetime of the device expires, it should be recycled in compliance with the laws, rules and methods in region of recycling. Detailed information about the recycling of the device, you can receive from a representative of the local authorities, after providing full information about the device. The manufacturer and authorized organization of the manufacturer do not carry responsibility for the fulfillment by the Buyer of the requirements of legislation on utilization and methods of utilization of the device selected by the Buyer. The lifetime of the device is indicated in the warranty card. Warranty period for the device and warranty terms are specified in the warranty card. The warranty card is an integral part of the documentation supplied with this unit. If there is no warranty card in the delivery set, ask for it from the Seller. The warranty card provided by the Seller must conform to the manufacturer’s form. The manufacturer and the authorized organization of the manufacturer remove responsibility for any possible harm which can be caused to people, animals or property directly or indirectly, if this harm occurred as a result of noncompliance with the rules and operating conditions, installation of the device, intentional or reckless actions of the user- and / or third parties, as well as in situations caused by natural and / or anthropogenic accidents.

  1. During transportation, any possible impacts and movements of the package inside the vehicle should be excluded.
  2. Transporting and storage should be provided in strict accordance to the manipulation marks.
