WARNING- WHEN USING AN ELECTRICAL PRODUCT, BASIC PRECAUTIONS SHOULD ALWAYS BE FOLLOWED TO AVOID ELECTRIC SHOCK, FIRE, AND/OR SERIOUS INJURY, INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING:

Fully assemble product prior to use.

Operate steam cleaner only at voltage specified on data label on back of steam cleaner.

Do not leave steam cleaner when plugged in.
Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning or servicing. -
Do not use outdoors or store outdoors.

Do not use for space heating purposes.

Do not immerse in water.

Do not allow to be used as a toy. Not intended for use by children aged 12 and under. Close supervision is necessary when used by or near children. To avoid injury or damage, keep children away from product, and do not allow children to place fingers or other objects into any openings

Do not use any extension cord with this product.

Do not handle the plug, or the Steam Cleaner with wet hands.

Do not operate the Steam Cleaner without footwear.

Do not place hands or feet under the Steam Cleaner while it is in operation as the unit gets very hot and may create a burn hazard.

Use only on flat, horizontal surfaces. Do not use the Steam Floor Head on walls, counter tops or windows.

To protect against a risk of electric shock, do not immerse the Steam Cleaner into water or any other liquids.

Use only as described in this manual. Use only manufacturer’s recommended attachments and products.

Do not use product with damaged cord or plug. If product is not working as it should, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water, call customer service at 1-800-944-9200 prior to continuing use.

Do not pull or carry by cord, use cord as a handle, close a door on cord, or pull cord around sharp edges or corners. Do not place product on cord. Do not run steam cleaner over cord. Keep cord away from heated surfaces.

Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord.

Do not put any object into openings. Do not use with any opening blocked.

Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of body away from openings.

Turn off all controls before unplugging.

Use extra care when cleaning on stairs. When not in use do not place steam cleaner on stairs or furniture, as it may result in injury or damage.

To avoid burn or injury, do not apply steam directly to any person or animal.

Only use water to refill the water tanks. Do not use any type of chemicals or additives in the water tank.
-
Do not add descaling, aromatic, alcoholic products, cleaning solutions, scented perfumes, oils or any other chemicals to the water used in this steam cleaner as this may damage the steam cleaner or make it unsafe for use. While this Steam Cleaner is designed for tap water, to increase effectiveness of the steam and to avoid buildup of materials, you may use distilled water.

Do not use Steam Cleaner in an enclosed space filled with vapor given off by oil-based paint, paint thinners, some moth proofing substances, flammable dust, or other explosive or toxic vapors.

When in use, never turn the steam cleaner over or use while on its side.

Allow Steam Cleaner sufficient time to cool prior to removing the microfiber pad.

Before cleaning, unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet and clean with a dry or damp cloth. Do not pour water or use alcohol, benzene or paint thinner on the steam cleaner.

Do not use in areas where flammable or combustible liquids, such as gasoline may be present.

Do not use without microfiber pad properly attached to mop head.
-
Do not clean over floor electrical outlets.
-
Do not use the Floor Head on leather, wax polished furniture or floors, synthetic fabrics, velvet or other delicate, steam sensitive materials.

Do not operate Steam Cleaner without water in water tanks.
-
Unplug Steam Cleaner from outlet before filling, rinsing or cleaning.
CAUTION: TO REDUCE THE RISK OF DAMAGE:
- Check and follow flooring manufacturer’s warranty and recommendations regarding the use of steam mops PRIOR to using this product on your floors and carpets.
- Store appropriately indoors in a dry place. Do not expose machine to freezing temperatures.
- Never use Steam Cleaner without microfiber pad attached.
- Never leave Steam Cleaner in one spot or on any surface for any period of time when pump is turned on and steam is activated.
- Do not use this product on Luxury Vinyl Flooring (LVF), Tile (LVT) or Plank (LVP). We recommend that you refer to the floor manufacturers specific cleaning instructions to protect your Luxury Vinyl.
WARNING- TO REDUCE THE RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK, THIS APPLIANCE HAS A POLARIZED PLUG (ONE BLADE IS WIDER THAN THE OTHER). THIS PLUG WILL FIT IN A POLARIZED OUTLET ONLY ONE WAY. IF THE PLUG DOES NOT FIT FULLY IN THE OUTLET, REVERSE THE PLUG. IF IT STILL DOES NOT FIT, CONTACT A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN TO INSTALL THE PROPER OUTLET. DO NOT CHANGE THE PLUG IN ANY WAY.

GETTING STARTED WITH YOUR STEAM CLEANER

ASSEMBLY
- Insert the body into the floor head until it clicks into place.
- Insert the handle until it clicks into place.
ATTACH MICROFIBER PAD
WARNING: To reduce the risk of personal injury – Unplug the steam cleaner
when assembling the accessories.
IMPORTANT: Never use the Steam Cleaner without the Microfiber Pad
correctly attached to the Floor Head.
The “Multi-Surface Microfiber Pad” can be used on all sealed hard floor
surfaces as well as carpet. Elimination studies were conducted under
controlled test conditions. Household results may vary. When using on carpet
the carpet glider attachment should be utilized as directed in the “Refreshing
Carpet” section of this manual.
- Place the cleaning pad on the floor white side facing up. Place steam cleaner on top of pad making sure the Floor Head covers the entire pad. Hook and loop feature on the bottom of the mop will hold the pad in place.
HOW TO USE
TO SANTIZE HARD FLOOR
Turn the steam control dial to “MAX” position.
Connect the microfiber pad and run a minimum of 6 strokes at a medium pace
(5-7 seconds per 32” stroke) across same area. Allow to dry.
- Remove Water Tank Cap by turning counterclockwise from the lock to unlocked position.
- Use the provided fill cup to fill machine with distilled water.
- Two fill cups worth of water will be needed to fill the entire tank.
- Replace the Water Tank Cap back on the machine and turn clockwise from unlocked to locked position
- Plug into an outlet. Turn steam control dial clockwise to turn on. The steam ready light will illuminate with a red light upon start.
- Steam control light will maintain a solid red to indicate the machine is on and heating up.
- Adjust the Steam Control Dial between Min and Max Steam to control the amount of steam. MIN for light steaming, MAX for the most amount of steam.
- Green light will illuminate to show the Steam Mop is ready to use.
- To recline the steam cleaner place foot here and pull handle backwards.
- Move the steam cleaner slowly backwards and forwards across the floor.
REFRESHING CARPETS
WARNING: To reduce the risk of personal injury – Unplug the steam cleaner
when assembling the accessories.
WARNING: Do not clean over floor electrical outlets. Do not use steam
cleaner without water in the Main Water Tank.
IMPORTANT: When using on carpets, always ensure the multi-surface
Microfiber Pad is properly attached to the Floor Head.
- Place the microfiber pad on the floor white side facing up. Place floor head onto pad making sure the entire pad covers the floor head.
- With microfiber pad attached, hook the steam cleaner into the front of the carpet glider and push to clip into place. Carpet glider should only be used when refreshing carpets.
- Turn Steam Control Dial clockwise to turn on.
- To recline the steam cleaner place foot here and pull handle backwards.
- Move the steam cleaner slowly backwards and forwards across the carpet.
- To release the carpet glider, place foot on clip and push down. Lift steam cleaner to unhook and remove.
MAINTENANCE
This steam cleaner contains no user serviceable parts. Do not try to repair it
yourself.
If steam cleaner is not working as it should, has been dropped, damaged, left
outdoors, or dropped into water, call Customer Service at
1-800-944-9200 prior to continuing
use.
IMPORTANT: Allow the steam cleaner to fully cool down before performing
any maintenance or troubleshooting checks.
REMOVING CLEANING PADS
WARNING: To reduce the risk of personal injury – Unplug Steam Cleaner
before servicing and allow to cool.
IMPORTANT: Never use bleach or fabric softener when washing the pad.
- Hold corner of pad down with foot and lift steam cleaner to peel away.
- All cleaning pads are machine washable on WARM setting. For best results lay flat to dry. Allow to fully dry before use.
REPLACING THE HARD WATER FILTER
- Place fingers and grip side clips of the hard water filter to remove.
- New filter has a (beige/cream color).
- Ensure the hard water filter is properly snapped back in place when performing maintenance.
- Hard water filter should be replaced every 6-8 months or when discolored.

CLEARING BLOCKAGES
WARNING: To reduce the risk of personal injury – Unplug Steam Cleaner before servicing and allow to cool.
- Unplug the unit.
- To remove the floor head from the body push the floor head release button and lift.
- After the floor head is removed, use a thin object such as a paper-clip (in the area shown), to remove the blockage.
- With the pad removed from the floor head, insert a small thin object such as a paper-clip in to the steam holes to remove a blockage.
TROUBLESHOOTING

This Steam Cleaner contains no user serviceable parts. Do not try to repair it

WARRANTY
LIMITED WARRANTY FOR HOOVER® PRODUCT ONE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY (DOMESTIC USE)
If this product is not as warranted, contact TTI Floor Care North America Customer Service at 1-800-406-2005. Please have available the proof of purchase and model number for the warranted product.
WHAT THIS LIMITED WARRANTY COVERS: This limited warranty provided by
Royal Appliance Mfg. Co., doing business as TTI Floor Care North America
(referred to hereafter as “Warrantor”) applies only to products purchased in
the U.S. (including its territories and possessions), a U.S. Military
Exchange, or Canada. When used and maintained in normal household use and in
accordance with the Owner’s Guide, this product is warranted against original
defects in material and workmanship for ONE year from the date of original
purchase (the “Warranty Period”). If Warrantor determines that the issue you
are experiencing is covered under the terms of this warranty (a “covered
warranty claim”), we will, at our sole discretion and free of charge (subject
to the cost of shipping), either (i) repair your product; (ii) ship you a
replacement product, subject to availability; or (iii) in the event that the
applicable parts or replacement are not reasonably available, ship you a
similar product of equal or greater value. In the unlikely event that we are
unable to repair your product or ship a replacement or similar product, we
reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to issue you a refund or store
credit (if applicable) of the actual purchase price at the time of the
original purchase as reflected on the original sales receipt. Parts and
replacements may be new, refurbished, lightly used, or re manufactured, in
Warrantor’s sole discretion.
WHO THIS LIMITED WARRANTY COVERS: This limited warranty extends only to
the original retail purchaser, with original proof of purchase from Warrantor
or an authorized dealer of Warrantor products, in the U.S., U.S. Military
Exchanges, and Canada.
WHAT THIS LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER: This warranty does not cover
use of the product in a commercial operation (such as maid, janitorial, and
equipment rental services, or any other income-generating activity); improper
maintenance of the product; the product if it has been subject to misuse,
negligence, neglect, vandalism, or the use of voltages other than that on the
data plate of this product. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from
an act of God, accident, owner’s acts or omissions, service of this product by
other than Warrantor or a Warrantor authorized service provider (if
applicable), or other acts beyond the control of Warrantor. This warranty also
does not cover use outside the country in which the product was initially
purchased, or resale of the product by the original owner. Pick-up, delivery,
transportation, and house calls are not covered by this warranty. In addition,
this warranty does not cover any product that has been altered or modified, or
repairs made necessary by normal wear or the use of other products, parts, or
accessories which are either incompatible with this product or adversely
affect this product’s operation, performance, or durability. Normal wear items
are not covered under this warranty. Depending on the product, normal wear
items may include, but are not limited to, belts, filters, brush rolls, blower
fans, blower and vacuum tubes, and vacuum bags and straps.
OTHER IMPORTANT TERMS: This warranty is not transferable and may not be
assigned; any assignment made in contravention of this prohibition is void.
This warranty shall be governed and construed under the laws of the state of
North Carolina. The Warranty Period will not be extended by any replacement of
batteries, parts, or products or by virtue of any repair performed under this
warranty.
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS THE EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY AND REMEDY, AND ALL EXPRESS
AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES OTHER THAN THE LIMITED WARRANTY SET FORTH ABOVE,
INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR
PURPOSE, ARE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED. IN NO EVENT WILL WARRANTOR BE LIABLE FOR
ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND OR
NATURE TO OWNER OR ANY PARTY CLAIMING THROUGH OWNER, WHETHER BASED IN
CONTRACT, NEGLIGENCE, TORT, OR STRICT PRODUCTS LIABILITY OR ARISING FROM ANY
CAUSE WHATSOEVER, EVEN IF THIS WARRANTY FAILS OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE. TO THE
EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, NO WARRANTIES THAT ARISE BY OPERATION OF
LAW, IF APPLICABLE, SHALL EXCEED THE DURATION OF THE LIMITED WARRANTY PROVIDED
HEREIN. Warrantor’s liability for damages to you for any costs whatsoever
arising out of this statement of limited warranty shall be limited to the
amount paid for this product at the time of original purchase.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or
consequential damages, disclaimers of implied warranties, or limitations on
the duration of implied warranties, so the above exclusions, disclaimers,
and/or limitations may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific
legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to
state.
GENUINE PARTS AND ACCESSORIES: We recommend using only with genuine
HOOVER® solutions (for carpet and spot cleaners), parts, and accessories.
Damage caused by use with other than genuine HOOVER® solutions, parts, and
accessories is not covered by and may void your warranty.
