Description

Clear Temp™ LC is a clear, resin-based, light cure temporary veneer cement. It is formulated with a visual indicator that fluoresces under a UV light (not included) for  dentifying residual temporary cement on the preparation prior to final luting.

Indications for Use

Clear Temp™ LC is a provisional cement used for luting of thin translucent veneer restorations.
Directions for Use:
Provisional Cementation:

  1. Remove product from refrigerator and bring to room temperature.
  2. Remove cap from Clear Temp™ LC.
  3. Clean, rinse and dry preparation.
  4. Express enough Clear Temp™ LC to coat the inside surface of the provisional.
  5. Re-cap syringe. 6. Seat provisional and adjust fit. 7. Remove excess using an instrument.
  6. Light cure with VALO ™ LED Curing Light on Standard Power for 10 seconds. (For lights with output <600mW/cm 2 cure 20 seconds or for lights with output >600mw/cm 2 cure for 10 seconds).

NOTE: This cement is intended for temporary veneers only.
Removing provisional:

  1. Use a carver or spoon excavator at the margin to break seal and remove provisional.
  2. Flake off bulk residual cement with blunt hand instrument.
  3. Illuminate surface with UV light to reveal residual cement.
  4. Remove remaining temporary cement and re-check.
  5. Scour prep with pumice-type slurry or Consepsis™ Scrub and cup or brush.
  6. Rinse thoroughly and prepare for final cementation as per manufacturer’s instructions.
    NOTE: Clear Temp ™ LC is very strong and has high adhesion to the tooth. Temporary veneers may break upon removal.

Precautions:

  1. For professional use only.
  2. Carefully read and understand all instructions before using Clear Temp™ LC.
  3. Always verify material flow prior to using. If resistance is met use an instrument to check and remove possible blockage. If resistance continues, do not use the syringe and call customer service or your Ultradent representative.
  4. Keep tip capped when not in use.
  5. Clinician and patient should wear UV protective eyewear when curing Clear Temp™ LC.
  6. Store product in refrigerator at 2-8° C / 36-46° F.
  7. Bring refrigerated products to room temperature before using.
  8. Redirect overhead light to prevent premature polymerization.
  9. Resins can be sensitizing. Avoid repeated contact of uncured dental resin with skin.
  10. Do not use on patients with a known sensitivity to methacrylates. If allergic reaction, dermatitis or rash develops, consult a physician.
  11. Re-cap immediately following use to avoid polymerization in tip and syringe.
  12. Dispose of tips and empty syringes properly.
  13. Keep out of reach of children.
  14. Do not use after expiration date noted on containers.
  15. Re-cap, disinfect and wipe syringe with an intermediate level disinfectant between uses. If disposable syringe cover is used, re-cap, and discard syringe cover.
  16. Keep products out of direct heat/sunlight.
