AMEWi 40008 RC Dinosaurier Velociraptor Toy Robot

INTRODUCTION

The Amewi Trade GmbH is an international import- and wholesale company for R/C models, toys, and creative items, located in Borchen near Paderborn, Germany. Our product range includes over 10,000 items. Above all, this includes remote- controlled car, helicopter, boat, and tank models as well as a wide range of accessories and all necessary spare parts. Our sales network includes over 700 specialist dealer and online retailers across Europe. The company AMEWI Trade GmbH is a pure wholesale company. We only sell our products to retailers. When you purchase AMEWI products as an end consumer, you are entering into a contract with the retailer. Please always contact your dealer in warranty cases.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

  • Parents please read the instruction with your children before using the product for the first time. Stop the velociraptor with the remote control before picking it up.
  • Keep hands, hair and clothing away from moving parts when the toy is operating.
  • Do not use the velociraptor with the radio control in the street. Avoid collisions with people, animals and furniture.
  • Warning: Any change or modification made to this product that is not expressly approved in the relevant section of the declaration of conformity may terminate the usage authorisation granted to the user.

BATTERY WARNING

  • this transmitter cannot use 2 AA batteries higher than 1.5V.
  • Only professional personel can disassemble and replace the lithium battery of the velociraptor.
  • do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
  • Rechargeable batteries must be removed before recharging.
  • Rechargeable batteries must be recharged under the supervision of an adult.
  • Do not mix different types of batteries or new batteries with old batteries.
  • Only use batteries of the recommended type or an equivalent type.
  • Take care to respect the + and – polarities when inserting batteries.
  • Used batteries must be removed from the product.

INSTALLATION

  • Install the left arm into the hole and tighten it clockwise with the screwdriver.AMEWi-40008-RC-Dinosaurier-Velociraptor-Toy-Robot- \(1\)
  • Install the right arm into the hole and tighten it clockwise with the screwdriver.

VELOCIRAPTOR CHARGING

  • Insert the Micro USB plug of the USB cable into the USB socket from the bottom of the velociraptor.
  • Then insert the another USB plug into the interface of the computer or other adapters (such as mobile phone charger).
  • Full charging time takes about 2 hours; Operating time about 2 hours.
  • The indicator from the bottom of the velociraptor turn to solid RED when in charging.
  • The indicator from the bottom of the velociraptor turn to OFF when fully charged.
  • Take away the USB cable, switch the power on to start the game.

INSERT BATTERIES

  1. Remove the battery cover screw on the bottom.
  2. Insert 2x 1.5 V AA batteries into the battery compartment according to polarity + and -.
  3. Close the battery cover and tighten the transmitter screw counterclockwise.

VELOCIRAPTOR

  1. Power Switch
    • Slide the switch to “ON” position — Power on
    • Slide the switch to “OFF” position — Power off
  2. Demo Button (Try-Me Button)
    • Press the button, the velociraptor will show the walking, forwarding, sounding with light in its mouth automaticalliy
    • Press the button for 3 seconds to the sleeping mode
    • When in sleeping mode, press the button to wake up the Velociraptor, then turn on the transmitter again
  3. Others
    • Sound and Light: Forward or backward walking with 3 different simulated sounds, mouth with light.
    • Power saving mode: If the velociraptor enter into the sleeping mode without any operating in 5 minutes; turn off the power switch then turn it on again or press the DEMO button to restart the velociraptor

TRANSMITTER

  1. Power Switch 1
    • Press this button — Power on
    • Press this button again — Power off
  2. Demo Button 2
    • Press the button, the Velociraptor will show the walking (forward/backward/turn left/turn right), wagging its tail, swaying its body with different sounds automatically.
    • Keep pressing the button for 3 seconds to turn off the sound mode, then keep repressing the button for 3 seconds to turn on the sound mode

    • Press — Walking backward
    • Press — Swaying the body from the left side
    • Press — Swaying the body from the right side
    • Press and at the same time — Walking forward from left side
    • Press and at the same time — Walking forward from right side
    • Press and at the same time — Walking backward from left side
    • Press and at the same time — Walking backward from right side
  4. 7Anzeige
    • LED Indicator keep flashing — Frequency connected or remote control signals fail.
    • LED Indicator constantly on — Frequency connected successfully or without any operating actions.
  5. Others
    • Power saving mode — Remote control will be powered off without any operation. You should turn on the power button again to start

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

  • Always remove the batteries from the transmitter if it is not used for a long time
  • Wipe the toy gently with a clean cloth
  • Keep the toy away from direct sources of heat
  • Do not immerse the toy in water, as this could damage electronic components
  • Replace batteries when they become less powerful
  • Operation temperature 0-40°C

  • The product is not allowed to get moist or wet. The product is only allowed to be used on flat and clean surfaces. Even a drop down from a small height can cause damage to the product.

Disposal

Battery Notice and Battery Disposal
Warning! Battery do not belong in childrens hands. A change of the battery has to be done by an adult person. Never mix chargable batteries with non-chargable batteries. Never mix fully charged batteries with almost emtpy batteries. Never mix batteries of different capacities. Never try to charge dry batteries. Take care of the correct polarity. Defective batteries belong to special waste. Never leave a charging battery unattended. For questions about the charging time please read the manual or ask the manufacturer.

  • The company AMEWI is registered below the WEEE Reg. Nr. DE93834722 at the foundation EAR and recycles all used electronic parts properly. Electric and electronical products are not allowed to put in household garbage. Please dispose the product at the end of its lifetime accroding to the actual laws. You as a customer are responsible by law for the return of all used batteries, disposal over household garbage is forbidden !

  • Batteries containing hazardous substances are marked with alongside symbols, which point to the prohibition of disposal in household garbage.

  • Additional notations for the critical heavy metal are: Cd=Cadmium, Hg=Quecksilver, Pb=lead (Label is placed on the batteries, for example below the bottom left trash symbols).

  • Based on RoHS labeling the manufacturer confirmes, that all limit values were taken care of at the time of manufacturing.

  • Batteries labeled with the recycling symbol can be put into used battery collecting tank.
    (Most supermarkets have)
    They are not allowed to be put into local household garbage.

  • AMEWI is involved in the dual system for boxing over the company Firma Land bell AG.
    All used boxes are collected from partner companies (waste disposal contractor) at private customers (local household), sorted and properly utilized. The Involvement in a Dual Systems helps to save CO2 Emissions.
