Go online with a home gateway

*Before setting up, make sure that your home broadband device is successfully connected to the Internet

The router’s default wireless network information can be viewed on its bottom shell sticker.

Step 1: Connect the power adapter in the box to the router’s power LED indicator blue light is solid.
Step 2: Connect the external network port of the router to the LAN port of the home gateway with a network cable.
Step 3: Connect wireless devices such as mobile phones to the wireless network of the router, or connect the computer to any network port of the router with a network cable

Mesh networking

Determine the master node: the default of the router is Agent in the factory state, first of all, we must determine the router that we can now access the Internet as the Controller router, , the steps of 7.1 to complete the quick setting, The router will be configured as a controller, or you can enter login WEB — > Mesh

— > Role Choices — > Controller/Agent/b32 >Make modifications.

Wired networking: The new secondary router is powered on in the factory state by default, and after the LED indicator is turned on after startup, it is always red and on, and then the wired network cable is used to connect to the LAN port of the main node determined by 6.1 and the LAN port of the new secondary router respectively, and wait The primary and secondary routers can complete the networking configuration synchronization in about 15s, at which time the SSID and Wi-Fi passwords of the two routers become consistent, and wireless clients can enjoy a seamless roaming experience between the two routers.

Wireless networking: The new secondary router is powered on in the factory state by default, and after the LED indicator is turned on to solid red, it is placed within 3 meters near the main node determined by 6.1, and then press the MESH/WPS buttons of it and the main route respectively-3s to the LED indicator blue flashing, then release the MESH/WPS key to start the pairing networking, when the new sub-routing LED indicator green light is always on, it means that the networking is successful; At this time, the main route in the original networking immediately stops flashing with the LED indicator and returns to the original solid color, which becomes solid to indicate successful networking; At this time, the SSID and Wi-Fi passwords of the two routers become the same, and wireless clients can enjoy a seamless roaming experience between the two routers.

The child node is disconnected from the network: you need to press the child node RESET button for 5~8s and release it to perform factory reset operation;
*When the new route is not successfully networked for more than 2 minutes, the LED indicator will no longer flash and return to the original solid color, and you need to press the 1-~3s ad hoc network button again to enter the MESH networking state

Manage the router

Managing Pages for the First Time

Step 1: Connect the computer to any network port of the router, the router will automatically detect the access mode of the superior, such as detection errors can be manually modified.

Step 2: Open a browser on the computer, access the management address of the router, the default is 192.168.2.1 or http://ywtwifi.com, you can enter the management page, the first time you enter will jump to the quick settings page (not the first time to open will jump to the following login page).

Step 3: If you need to enter the login username and password, the default login information can be viewed on the router bottom shell sticker.

Step 4: Start the quick setting, start to configure the WAN port access mode, please configure it in the way provided by your ISP (misconfiguration will not be able to go online), and click the “Next” button to configure wirelessly after the configuration is completed

Step 5: Start to configure wireless information and login password, configure wireless SSID, password, login password according to your preferences, if you forget the login password, you can only restore it through factory operation.

Step 6: Complete network access and wireless information configuration, click the “Setting done, Setup complete” button to complete all configurations, wait for all configurations to take effect in about 30s, and start enjoying the network.

Set up the router

After successfully logging in to the router management page, you can set up the router as needed, and the following is an example to modify the wireless name and wireless password.

Step 1: Tap Wireless Settings.
Step 2: Modify the wireless name and wireless password as needed.
Step 3: Click OK at the bottom of the page.

Ps: 1.If the device you are using does not support Wi-Fi 6, you can manually turn on the backup Wi-Fi 5 network and associate the device with the Wi-Fi 6 network with the backup Wi-Fi 5 network
2. If you need to provide guests with wireless networks without allowing them to configure and manage, you can use the guest Wi-Fi network, and you can configure Wi-Fi on the wireless settings page.

Setup complete. You can connect to the wireless network you just set up to access the Internet, or connect your computer to the gigabit Ethernet port of the router with a network cable.

FAQs

Q1: What should I do if I cannot log in to the router management page after accessing 192.168.2.1?

A: Please try the following methods to solve the problem

1. Make sure that the IP address of the currently used access device is 192.168.2.X, and you can ping 192.168.2.1
2. Enter the domain name of the router in) the browser address bar (not the search bar) http://ywtwifi.com.
3. If you set up the router with a wireless device such as a mobile phone, make sure that the router is successfully connected to Wi Fi.
4. If you’re setting up your router with your phone, make sure your data is turned off.
5. Restore the router to factory settings.

Q2: What should I do if my computer or mobile phone still can't access the Internet after setting?

A: Try the following method to solve it:

1. Verify that the parent gateway has successfully connected to the Internet.
2. Make sure that the external WAN port of the router is connected to the Internet, and the LED light of the router is solid green.
3. Log in to the router’s management page, check the network connection status, if not connected to the Internet, please enter the Internet settings page and follow the prompts on the page.
4.  If you can’t access the Internet after connecting to Wi-Fi, make sure you are connected to the correct wireless name.
5. If you have connected the correct wireless name but still cannot access the Internet, log in to the router wired to go to the wireless settings page, change the wireless name and wireless password, and reconnect to Wi-Fi.
6. If the computer connected to the router network port with a network cable cannot access the Internet, please make sure that the IP address of the computer is obtained automatically.

Q3: How do I factory reset the router?

A: Try any of the following methods to solve it: Method 1: When the router LED light is long, press and hold the RESET button for about 5 seconds to release, when the indicator flashes, the router will be restored to factory settings. Method 2: Log in to the router management page and enter the system management page settings.

Q4: Why can't I search for the Wi-Fi signal of my router?

A: Please log in to the router management page by wire, then go to the wireless settings page and try the following method to solve it:

1. Confirm whether it is within the coverage range of the router, the signal of the router is range, and the signal cannot be scanned beyond a certain distance.
2. Check whether the wireless network is turned on, if it is off, please turn on the wireless network and save. Search again with your phone.
3. Check whether the wireless name contains special non-English characters, and if so, set it to the wireless name without special characters.

Q5: Why can't the phone search for the router's 5GHz Wi-Fi signal?

A：

1. Only devices compatible with 5GHz networks can search for 5GHz wireless network names.
2. If the mobile phone can search for other 5GHz wireless networks, please refer to Q4 to solve the problem.
3. Confirm whether the dual-band all-in-one function is enabled, and the SSID of 5G will be modified to be consistent with 2.4G after this function is enabled
4. Log in to the management program to check the wireless settings and confirm whether to turn off the 5G Wi-Fi signal
5.
