Applications and function
The paint roller cleaner is intended for cleaning paint rollers and for
connection to the water tapping point or booster pump, Art. No. 61 70 75 for
the ColorFree top splitting unit. The paint roller is driven by the water
pressure and starts rotating. The washed-out paint and washing water is thrown
off the roller by the rotation and runs out of the TurboWash at the bottom
Installation on the Wamab and ColorFree top separating system
-
Slide the washer onto the mounting screws
-
Now insert the assembly screws from the outside through the holes on the rear wall of the wash basin and then slide the spacer sleeves from the inside of the sink onto the screws; next insert one o-ring each behind the spacer sleeve on each screw.
-
Now guide the Turbo-Wash onto the screws with the spacer sleeves and fix it in place with the screws in the threaded sleeves provided and tighten them evenly (3 mm Allen key).
CAUTION: The ink roller must always be scraped out before the cleaning process and the material must be collected in the contai-ner. This saves time and water. -
Connect the water tapping point or the booster pump and the Turbo-Wash using the connection hose provided.
-
Make sure that a flat gasket is inserted into each union nut of the connection hose.
Now check whether the connections are tight by opening the water inlet, and opening and closing the ball valve of the Turbo-Wash. Now pay attention to the connection thread. -
The Turbo-Wash Art. No. 19 52 00 is an upright unit; it is positioned in the respective wash basin and connected to the water dispensing point or the booster pump Art. No. 61 70 75.

CAUTION:
- The Turbo-Wash is only designed for a maximum working pressure of 20 bar! Any other use or operation of the TurboWash than descri-bed in this manual is not permitted and may lead to mal-function and accidents.
- To be on the safe side, always turn off the water cock of the water inlet after completion of the cleaning proce-dures.
Cleaning paint rollers
- Before you guide the rollers into the Turbo-Wash, hold the roller over the paint container and scrape off as much of the paint as possible from the roller using a suitable tool.
- Open the water cock of the water inlet.
- Open the cover of the Turbo-Wash, insert the scraped out roller into the Turbo-Wash and close the cover again.
- Now open the ball valve of the Turbo-Wash completely as far as it will go.
- Move the paint roller up and down a little in order to achieve an equal cleaning. The best cleaning effect can be achieved when the water runs out of the edge of the roller and not in the middle so that the paint roller rotates at a higher speed.
Then interrupt the water supply suddenly by shutting off the ball valve on the Turbo-Wash. The paint roller conti-nues to rotate at high speed and is immediately drier due to the centrifugal effect. Open the cover, remove the rol-ler from the Turbo-Wash and rinse the roller caps with the rinser head if necessary. Now turn the roller bow 180° and clean the roller again in the Turbo-Wash.
