We recommend turning on the grill at maximum power without any ingredients for about -
minutes to burn off the grill. During this time, you may experience faint smoke and an unpleasant odor. This is a normal thing that disappears with use. Allow the grill to cool down and then clean it again according to the instructions in the “Cleaning and maintenance” section.
Use
- Place the grill on a dry, clean, solid and heat-resistant surface at a sufficient distance from the mains socket. Make sure that the grill is placed far enough away from heat-sensitive and flammable materials and that the safety instructions are followed.
- Make sure the thermostat is in the OFF position.
- Make sure the grill is closed and the drip tray is installed correctly.
- Fully unroll the power cable. Make sure that the power supply is located so that it does not touch the grill that heats up during use or other heat sources, such as electric or gas stoves.
- Insert the power plug into the AC outlet and the red power light will light up. It will be lit as long as the grill is plugged in.
- Turn the thermostat and set the desired temperature level from MIN to MAX, where “MAX” is the highest temperature and “MIN” is the lowest temperature.
- The green ready light comes on. It shows that the grill is heating to the set temperature. Once it goes off the grill is ready to use.
- Open the top plate by gripping the handle and place the ingredients you want to grill or bake on the grill plate. Carefully close the top plate.
- Check the condition of the food regularly and you can change the set temperature level as needed.
- During operation, the green ready light will come on and off, which means that the grill is warming up to operating temperature. Likewise, the green ready light will be on when you raise the temperature. In that case wait until the green indicator goes off.
- Once the preparation is complete, open the top plate by the handle and remove the food from the grill plate. Use only wooden or heat-resistant plastic utensils. Metal utensils, knives, forks, etc. can scratch the non-stick coating and damage the grill. We recommend using protective kitchen gloves.
- When you are not using the grill, turn the thermostat to the OFF position and unplug it. Allow the grill to cool completely and then clean it according to the instructions in the “Cleaning and maintenance” section.
Note: If you are grilling high-fat ingredients, fold out the front legs. The grill will tilt back slightly and the fat will drain more easily into the drip tray.

The grill can be opened, and you can grill on both grill plates. Proceed as
follows:
- Unfold the front legs.
- Open the top plate by the handle.
- Hold the handle with one hand and press the lock on the right side with the other hand. Keep the lock pressed and slowly pull the top plate backwards until its handle touches the work surface. Then release the lock.
- Now you can use both grill plates.
If you need to fold the grill, grasp the grill by the handle and carefully lift the top plate. Warning: Do not handle the grill when it is switched on, hot or plugged in.
Warning: During use, the grill heats up and remains hot even after use. Do not touch the hot surface. There is a risk of severe burns.
Tips and advice
The meat will be more tender and cook faster if you marinate it before cooking
(e.g. in oil with herbs, yogurt or sour cream, etc.). Do not add salt to the
marinade. It releases water from the meat and dries it. It is important that
the meat in the marinade is completely submerged, ideally overnight.
Grill plates have a non-stick finish that minimizes the use of fat. If you
still want to use fat or oil, make sure it is suitable for grilling.
Before eating poultry meat, make sure that the meat is completely cooked
through. You can use a commercially available meat thermometer for this
purpose.
