INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Remove all packaging materials and take out the appliance and any accessories.
Parts which come in contact with the oral cavity must be rinsed in warm
drinking water before first use.
CHARGING THE BRUSH
This appliance is equipped with a contactless (induction) charging system
which works on the principle of energy transfer through an electromagnetic
field. No direct connection with the power cable is required which makes
charging more convenient and thanks to the enhanced insulation (IPX7) also
safer.
First of all, connect t he charging base to mains, put the charging glass (C1)
onto the base, and then place brush unit (A) in the glass. Charging is
indicated by red lamp (A4).
As soon as charging has been completed, lamp (A4) turns to green and after
several seconds it will go off. For a full charge, the battery needs to be
charged for approximately
10 hours. Depending on the cleaning mode used, a fully charged battery will
provide approximately 2 hours of operation.
Note: Although the brush should not be charged before it is fully discharged,
we recommend charging it at regular intervals (e.g. after 2-3 weeks of use) in
order to ensure optimum battery life.
Caution
– During operation, the (A4) LED indicator is lit, when the battery of the
accumulator is low and it needs to be recharged, the LED indicator starts
flashing.
– Do not exceed the recommended time of charging during regular charging!
– The charging base also serves as a stand where you can place the brush in
glass after use. However, do not connect the base to the mains unless you wish
to charge the brush. Do not leave the charging base connected to the mains
permanently!
– The appliance warms up during charging, but this is normal and not a defect.
– The operating time is only approximate. The time depends on the condition of
the battery, ambient temperature, age, method of charging, etc.
USE
Before use, slide the brush (B) onto the brush body (A) to connect them (See
Fig. 1). A small gap will remain between the brush body (A) and the coloured
ring (B2) which is not a defect. To remove the brush, proceed the other way
round. Do not switch on the appliance without the brush attached!
Moisten the brush and apply a small amount of toothpaste on it. Put the brush
to the teeth at a slight angle towards the gums (see Fig. 3) and switch on any
mode firstly by pressing the on/switch button (A1) and then (A2) mode button.
Move the brush slowly along the teeth back and forth, applying a slight
pressure, so as not to miss any tooth or area in the mouth. Clean each tooth
for about 2-3 seconds.
The brush operating time is limited to 2 minutes which corresponds to the time
for cleaning recommended by experts. If you wish to continue cleaning, simply
switch on the brush again. Each part of the mouth (quadrant) should be cleaned
for about 30 seconds (see Fig. 3); A short interruption of the brush operation
will prompt you to move to another quadrant after this time elapses.
Notes
– If this is your first sonic toothbrush and you have not had any experience
with this cleaning technology, it might take you a while to get used to the
specific vibration (tingling). However, most users say that they got used to
it quickly after a few uses and cleaning became perfectly natural for them.
– Do not apply excessive pressure on your teeth.
– You can also use this brush when you have fixed braces, facets, crowns, etc.
However, please bear in mind that if the brush is used with braces, the brush
bristles are subject to more wear.
– We recommend that you replace the brush (B) with a new one after 3 months of
use. However, if the brush is showing signs of significant wear or damage.
Cleaning modes:
1) CLEAN mode – standard intensive mode for regular cleaning of healthy
teeth.
2) SOFT mode – gentle mode for sensitive teeth or mouth parts;
recommended in case of increased sensitivity of teeth.
3) WHITEN mode – cleaning mode adapted for better teeth whitening,
4) MASSAGE mode – pulse mode for gentle gum massaging.
Activation of the mode selected is indicated by the indicator (A3) coming on.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before performing maintenance of the charging base (C), unplug it from the
mains first! For maximum hygiene, clean the brush (B) after each use!
Rinse the brush head (B1) and the brush body (A) under running water and wipe
the brush body with a damp cloth. Use the damp cloth to wipe the charging base
and its cable as well. Never immerse the brush body (A) or the charging base
(C) in water! Do not use a dishwasher for cleaning! Allow the brush body (A),
the charging base (C) and the cable to dry properly before re-use.
