USE
Before first use

- Remove all stickers and labels from the appliance.
- Wipe the outer surface and the heating plate with a soft sponge slightly dampened with warm water. Wipe dry.
We recommend turning the appliance on at maximum power without the ingredients for about 5 minutes to allow the appliance to burn. During this time, you may experience faint smoke and an unpleasant odor. This is a normal thing that disappears with use. Allow the appliance to cool down and then clean again according to the instructions in the “Cleaning and Maintenance” section.
Use
-
Place the appliance on a dry, clean, solid and heat-resistant surface at a sufficient distance from the mains socket. Ensure that it is placed far enough away from heat sensitive and flammable materials and that safety instructions are followed.
-
Make sure the thermostat is in position 0 (off).
-
Fully unroll the power cable. Make sure that the power cord is positioned so that it does not touch the appliance, which heats up during use, or other heat sources such as an electric or gas stove.
-
Insert the power plug into the AC outlet and the red power light will light up. It will be on as long as the appliance is plugged in.
-
Turn the thermostat and set the desired temperature level from MIN to MAX, where “MAX” is the highest temperature and “MIN” is the lowest temperature.
-
When the green ready light comes on, the appliance is ready for use.
-
Pour a sufficient amount of dough onto the board and spread the dough over the entire surface using a wooden spatula. We recommend pouring the dough into the centre of the board and then using a circular motion of the spatula, spread the dough to the edges.
-
Check the browning status regularly and change the temperature setting as needed.
-
During operation, the green ready light will turn on and off, indicating that the appliance is warming up to operating temperature. Likewise, the green ready light will be on when you raise the temperature. In that case wait until the green indicator goes off.
-
Once the pancake is toasted on one side, use a flipper to flip it over and flip it over to toast the other side. Once the pancake is browned on the other side, remove it from the plate with a turner and repeat the process with the remaining batter. We recommend using protective kitchen gloves.
Warning: Use only the wooden flipper provided to flip pancakes or crepes. Do not use metal utensils, knives or forks, which can scratch the non-stick coating of the plate and irreparably damage it. -
When you have finished cooking, turn the thermostat to position 0 (off) and disconnect the plug from the mains socket. Allow the appliance to cool down completely and then clean it according to the instructions in the “Cleaning and Maintenance” section.
Note: The warming plate is suitable for the preparation of pancakes, pancakes, fried eggs, egg omelettes, etc.
