Safety notice

Please read this manual carefully before use and keep it for future reference.

  1. This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and older and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities and lack of experience and knowledge, if they are under supervision or have been instructed in the use of the appliance in a safe manner and understands potential hazards.

  2. Children must not play with the appliance.

  3. Cleaning and maintenance performed by the user may not be performed by children without supervision.

  4. Children under the age of 3 should not have access to the appliance unless they are constantly supervised.

  5. Children between the ages of 3 and 8 must only turn this appliance on/off if it has been placed or installed in their intended normal operating position and if they are supervised or have been instructed in the safe use of the appliance manner and understands the possible dangers. Children between the ages of 3 and 8 may not insert the plug into the socket, regulate and clean the appliance or carry out user maintenance.

  9. If the power supply is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service technician or a similarly qualified person person in order to avoid a dangerous situation.

  10. The infrared radiator must not be placed directly under the electrical outlet.

  11. Follow the instructions in this manual when installing the infrared heater. The manufacturer is not responsible for damages caused by non-compliance instructions given in the manual.

  12. WARNING : When installed near curtains and other flammable materials, there is a risk of ignition and fire. For To reduce the risk of fire, keep textiles, curtains or any other flammable material at a distance of at least 1 m from the air outlet.

  13. The infrared radiator must be installed at least 1.8 m above the floor

  14. The infrared radiator is intended for heating in the home. Do not use it for any purpose other than that for which it is intended. Do not use it in industrial environment or for commercial purposes.

  15. Before connecting the plug to the mains socket, make sure that the voltage on the rating plate corresponds to the voltage in the mains socket. A fork only plug into a properly grounded mains socket. Do not use adapters or extension cords.

  16. Do not use the infrared heater near a bathtub, swimming pool or other containers filled with water.

  17. Do not install the infrared heater in rooms with high humidity or dust, e.g. in laundries, bathrooms. Do not install it in a place where it could fall into a tub or container of water.

  18. Do not install the infrared heater in rooms where flammable or explosive substances are used/stored.

  19. To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not immerse the infrared heater, power cord or plug in water or other liquids.

  20. Guide the power cord so that it is not tripped over or stepped on. The power supply must not be routed under the carpet either must not be covered by mats, rugs or similar objects.

  21. Ensure that the power cord does not touch hot surfaces or is placed near heat sources or open fire.

  22. Do not forcibly bend, tangle, or let the power cord hang over the edges.

  23. Keep the power cord out of the reach of children.

  24. Use the infrared heater exclusively according to the instructions given in the manual. Otherwise, there is a risk of dangerous occurrence situation, property damage, electric shock or personal injury.

  25. Do not touch the heating element. Always make sure the infrared heater is completely cool before touching it

  26. Do not insert fingers, hands or any foreign objects into the inlet and outlet openings. Otherwise, there is a risk of injury electric current and damage to the infrared emitter.

  27. Do not cover the air inlet and outlet ventilation holes. There is a risk of the infrared radiator overheating, damaging it or causing a fire.

  28. Check the ventilation holes regularly and keep them clean.

  29. If you are not going to use the infrared heater, turn it off and disconnect it from the power source.

  30. Do not leave the infrared heater unattended when it is switched on.

  31. Do not touch the infrared heater or the plug with damp or wet hands.

  32. Do not use the infrared heater if the power supply, its plug or the infrared heater is damaged, the infrared heater has been dropped or shows signs of damage.

  33. All repairs or adjustments may only be carried out by authorized service.

  34. Do not repair, modify or disassemble the infrared heater. There is a risk of electric shock.

  35. Turn off the infrared heater, disconnect the plug from the mains socket if you are not going to use it, need to move it or clean it Always allow it to cool completely before cleaning or moving it.

  36. Follow the cleaning instructions provided in this manual. Do not use harsh cleaning agents, chemicals, gasoline, solvents, etc.

  37. Do not use pressure washers or steam cleaners for cleaning.

Installation

  • Unpack the infrared heater from the package and check that the infrared heater, power cord, and plugs are not damaged.
  • For installation you will need: a pencil, a hammer, a spirit level, a screwdriver and a drill with drill bits.
  • The infrared radiator must be installed at least 50 cm from the side wall and at least 2.4 m from the floor.
  • Warning: The infrared emitter must be attached to a solid surface made of concrete, wood, metal, etc.
  • Make sure that the power cord is routed so that it does not touch heating elements or surfaces that become hot during use.
  • The power supply can be attached from behind using plastic straps.

Installation instructions

  • The infrared emitter must only be installed by a competent person, e.g. a qualified technician.
  • Before installation, always turn off the infrared heater, disconnect it from the power source and let it cool down.
  • When mounting to the ceiling, the minimum distance of the infrared radiator from the floor must be 2.4 m, so that it cannot be reached when it’s functioning.
  • When mounting to the ceiling, the minimum distance from corners and other appliances must be at least 50 cm.
  • The distance of the infrared emitter from people must be at least 1 m.
  • The distance of the front part of the infrared radiator from materials such as wood, cardboard, fabrics, etc. must be at least 1 m.
  • When mounting to the ceiling, the angle of the infrared emitter from the ceiling must be 45° to 60°, when mounting on the wall, the angle of the infrared emitter from the wall must be 45° up to 90°.
  • The power supply must be routed at the bottom of the infrared radiator if you install it at an angle or vertically.
  • Keep the power cord at a safe distance from those parts of the infrared heater that become hot during use.
  • Do not install the infrared heater on a flammable surface.
  • Keep the minimum safe distance of the body of the infrared emitter from flammable materials.
  • The minimum distance of the infrared radiator from the ceiling and surrounding walls must be at least 50 cm.
  • If the infrared emitter is to be placed outside, we recommend plugging it into the mains socket with a protective cover, which is intended for outdoor use.
  • Warning : Before installation, make sure there are no pipes or electrical wires in the wall at the installation location.
  • The infrared emitter must only be installed with the supplied mounting kit.
  • Attach the brackets securely to the mounting pad and back of the infrared heater using the supplied nuts and bolts. Comply instructions given in the manual.
  • The inclination of the infrared emitter can be adjusted by loosening the screws in the brackets. After adjusting the inclination, tighten the screws and make sure that are tightly tightened.

Warning

  • Warning: Keep flammable materials such as are furniture, pillows, curtains, etc., safe distance of at least 1 m from the front part, on the sides and in the back of the infrared radiator.
  • Warning: Hot surface. Do not touch heated surface.
  • Warning: Do not use an extension cord nor a multi-socket extension cord.
  • Warning: Do not cover with any objects such as blankets

Construction

Make sure the infrared heater is securely installed before use.
The infrared heater can be used inside the building or in a well-protected place outside
Follow the instructions in this manual to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock or personal injury.
It is forbidden to interfere with the construction of the infrared radiator.

The infrared emitter comes with a mounting kit:

  • L holders – 4 pcs
  • Plastic dowels – 4 pcs
  • M5x25 mm screws – 4 pcs
  • Wing nut – 2 pcs
  • Screws M6x12 mm – 2 pcs

Installation of brackets and attachment to the infrared radiator

  1. Place the L brackets with the round ends together with the end of one bracket pointing to the left and the other to the right – see Figure 1. Align the holes in the brackets and insert the M6x12 mm screw into the hole. Secure with a nut.
  2. Adjust to desired angle – see Figure 2.
  3. Drill four holes in the wall/ceiling according to the dimensions in Figure 3.
  4. Insert dowels into the drilled holes – see figure 5.
  5. Attach the folded bracket to the wall/ceiling. Check that the holes in the bracket line up with the holes in the wall/ceiling and attach brackets to the ceiling using M5x25 mm screws – see figure 6.
  6. Make sure the brackets are firmly attached to the wall/ceiling.
  7. Fit the infrared emitter to the brackets and fasten it with the wing nuts – see figure 7.

Adjustment of the inclination of the infrared emitter

  1. Hold the infrared emitter with one hand and loosen the nuts of the screws that connect the brackets together with the other.
  2. Tilt the infrared heater as needed.
  3. Tighten the nuts.

Warning : Adjust the slope only when the infrared heater is switched off and cooled down

Ceiling Installation

  • When installing to the ceiling, the minimum distance of the infrared radiator from the floor must be 2.4 m. The angle of the infrared radiator from the ceiling must be 45°
    up to 60° max.

  • The power supply must not be routed through the infrared radiator.

USE

  1. Switch the main switch on the body of the infrared heater to the ON position. “–” will appear on the display.
  2. Press the control button to turn on the infrared heater and it will start when the heat radiation level is low.
  3. By repeatedly pressing the control button, you will change the operation of the infrared radiator in the following order: L1 (low level of heat radiation) – L2 (medium level of thermal radiation) – L3 (medium high level of thermal radiation) – L4 (high level heat radiation) – standby mode – off.
  4. To completely shut down, turn the main power switch to the OFF position.

REMOTE CONTROL

Inserting the batteries

The remote control is powered by two AAA batteries. Batteries are not included in the package.

  1. Carefully remove the battery compartment cover located at the bottom of the remote control.
  2. Insert two new AAA batteries. Pay attention to the correct polarity, which is marked on the bottom of the battery compartment.
  3. Put the cover back on.

To replace the batteries, follow the same procedure, but remove the dead batteries.
Always replace both batteries at the same time. Do not mix used and new batteries, or alkaline and rechargeable batteries at the same time.
If you are not going to use the remote control for a long time, remove both batteries from the remote control to prevent electrolyte leakage and damage remote control.
The remote control allows you to control several infrared emitters at the same time.

Turn on/off the infrared emitter

  1. Switch the main switch on the body of the infrared heater to the ON position.
  2. Press the on/off button on the remote control and the infrared heater will start.
  3. When finished using, press the on/off button, the infrared heater will turn off and stop heating.
  4. To completely shut down, turn the main power switch to the OFF position.

Setting the level of thermal radiation

  1.  Briefly press the heat radiation button once.
  2. Use the ▼/▲ buttons to set the desired heat output level:
    • L1 (low level thermal radiation);
    • L2 (medium level of thermal radiation);
    • L3 (moderately high level of thermal radiation);
    • L4 (high level of thermal radiation).

Timer setting

  1. Briefly press the timer button once.
  2. Use the ▼/▲ buttons to set the required operating time from 0 to 24 hours.
  3. After the set time has elapsed, the infrared heater switches off and stops heating

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Before cleaning, turn off the infrared heater, disconnect it from the power source and let it cool down completely.
    Warning : Never immerse the appliance, power cord or plug in water or other liquids.

  • Do not use plastic or metal wire brushes, harsh detergents, chemicals, gasoline, solvents or other similar substances. This could seriously damage the finish.
    Warning : Do not use pressure washers or steam cleaners for cleaning.

  • Use only a soft, slightly damp cloth for cleaning. If necessary, you can use a mild detergent that

  • you apply to a cloth. Wipe dry with a clean cloth.

  • Ensure that water does not enter the infrared heater.

  • Make sure it is completely dry and clean before turning it back on.

Notice:

  • Always unplug the infrared heater from the power source and let it cool down, if you clean it, you need to move it etc.
  • If dirt and dust accumulate around the heating elements, have the infrared heater cleaned by a qualified service technician.

Do not use infrared.

  • The user is allowed to wipe the outer surface of the infrared emitter.
  • Do not touch the heating elements with your bare hands, as dirt on your fingers can affect the life of the heating elements.

If you accidentally touch them, wipe off the prints with a soft cloth moistened with an alcohol-based cleaner.

  • Do not attempt to repair or modify the electrical or mechanical parts of the infrared emitter.
  • The infrared emitter does not contain parts that the user can repair himself. If the infrared emitter is damaged or broken, repair it entrust to an authorized service center.
  • A damaged power supply must be replaced by the manufacturer, service technician or other qualified person in order to prevented the occurrence of a dangerous situation.

Maintenance

Regular and careful maintenance will ensure the long-term life of your infrared heater.

  1. Check the reflector and infrared filament for contamination at least once a month.

  2. The intensity of regular checks depends on the environment in which the infrared emitter is placed. The dustier the environment, the more common it is
    need to check the infrared emitter.

  3. When cleaning, visually check for possible deformation of the reflector, filament and frame. Contact an authorized service if any part is deformed.

  4. Check the power supply and plug when cleaning. Contact an authorized service center if they are damaged.

Saving

Make sure the infrared heater is cool and clean before storing. Store it in a dry, well-ventilated place. We recommend it store in the box to prevent dust and dirt from accumulating on it. Keep it out of reach of children or pets.

Troubleshooting

  • The infrared heater did not turn on.
    • Check that the plug is inserted correctly in the mains socket.
    • Check that the circuit breaker is not tripped, or is a socket under tension.
  • Error code E1 appeared on the display.
    • The infrared heater is overheated.
    • Turn it off and let it cool for about 1 hour. Then turn it on again
  • Error code E2 appeared on the display.
    • The anti-tip function has been activated. Set up angle less than 60° and turn it on again
  • The display shows the level of thermal radiation, but the infrared radiator does not heat.
    • The fluorescent lamp is damaged. Contact an authorized service center that replace it.

If the problem is not listed in the table above or the problem has not been solved, switch off the appliance, disconnect the power plug cord from the power outlet and contact an authorized service center.
