Introduction

Use your stock earbuds to hear what you have been missing. High fidelity sound reproduction is provided by a single balanced armature driver. To the best of my understanding and based on what I’ve read, the UM Pro series is produced in the USA, whereas the W series is produced in China. For the UM Pro series, Westone’s website specifically states “Handcrafted in Colorado Springs.” The W series is not named; however, it is safe to conclude that it is not produced in the USA because otherwise it would be.

Are foam tips included with these?

Yes, this device includes a number of pairs of ear tips in various sizes, including five pairs of foam and five pairs of silicone. You can buy more earplugs on Amazon or the Westone website.

Are these suitable for a range of musical styles?

Yes, I’ve listened to a lot of different kinds of music with these, and they sound wonderful. I have listened to a wide variety of music, including jazz, blues, classical, country, rock, metal, pop, hip-hop, and more. Although the bass is not as loud as, say, “beats,” they are highly balanced and provide excellent ear protection. The UMPRO50 is the most suitable Universal Westone monitor for this use. Bassists and drummers love it because it has some extra low frequency power.
