The Laser Level is a delicate instrument; do not drop or jar the Laser Level.

Do not install old and new batteries together. Do not install alkaline, carbon-zinc or rechargeable batteries together. Position batteries in proper polarity. Do not use swollen or leaking batteries.

Have the Laser Level calibrated by a qualified technician every year to maintain accurate results.

People with pacemakers should consult their physician(s) before use. Electromagnetic fields in close proximity to heart pacemaker could cause pacemaker interference
or pacemaker failure. -

Setup – Before Use

General Operation

Install batteries as described in “Battery Replacement” on page 7.

Set the Level on a flat, level surface.

To mark guidelines:
-
Place the bottom on the Level on the floor or wall. Press the Power Switch to turn on the laser.

Place the T-Edge against a wall so that the laser lines run parallel to reference lines.
-
If on the wall, align the Level so that the 0° Alignment Bubble is level and the 90° Alignment Bubble is at the top.
-
If on the floor, align the Level so that both Alignment Bubbles are level.

To lay tiles on the floor:
-
Position Level in a corner so that laser lines run parallel to the reference lines as shown in Step 3.

Lay the first tile so that the sides are flush with the 0° and 90° laser lines.
-
If laying next to an edge, position the Level so that the T-Edge is against the side of the edge.
The 90° laser line should run parallel to the edge and the 0° laser line marks the tile row. -
To apply tiles to a wall:
-
Determine the height at which the first tile row should begin and mark the wall using the ruler on the Level or other measuring device.

Place the T-Edge at the mark and straighten the Level so that the 0°laser line is parallel with the floor.

To check the alignment of a row of tiles, place L-Edge at the corner of a tile.

To check the alignment of a single tile, place the Level’s edge on top of the tile as shown below.

When finished with the Level, press the Power Switch to turn it OFF. Store Level in a dry indoor area away from children, If storing for a long period, remove the batteries.
Maintenance and Servicing
Procedures not specifically explained in this manual must be performed only by a qualified technician.
Cleaning, Maintenance, and Lubrication
- Wipe unit with a dry, lint-free cloth. Do not use solvents or abrasives.
- Remove batteries if not in use for long periods.
- Store unit in a dry location.
- Other than the batteries, there are no replaceable parts on this unit. Repairs should be done by a qualified technician.
Battery Replacement
- Turn the Level’s Power Switch OFF.
- Remove battery cover by pressing the Latch and removing the cover.
- Remove old batteries. Replace with new AA batteries follow polarity.
- Replace battery cover and be sure the Latch connects securely.
Note : Do not install old and new batteries together. Do not install alkaline, carbon-zinc or rechargeable batteries together. Position batteries in proper polarity. Do not use swollen or leaking batteries.
Calibration
Have the Laser Level calibrated by a qualified technician every year.

installation, normal wear and tear, or to lack of maintenance. We shall in no
event be liable for death, injuries to persons or property, or for incidental,
contingent, special or consequential damages arising from the use of our
product. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or
consequential damages, so the above limitation of exclusion may not apply to
you. THIS WARRANTY IS EXPRESSLY IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR
IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS.
To take advantage of this warranty, the product or part must be returned to us
with transportation charges prepaid. Proof of purchase date and an explanation
of the complaint must accompany the merchandise. If our inspection verifies
the defect, we will either repair or replace the product at our election or we
may elect to refund the purchase price if we cannot readily and quickly
provide you with a replacement. We will return repaired products at our
expense, but if we determine there is no defect, or that the defect resulted
from causes not within the scope of our warranty, then you must bear the cost
of returning the product.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also
have other rights which vary from state to state.
