We’ve all experienced how difficult and stressful it is to iron curtains on an ironing board, but with the PurSteam Iron Vertical Steam Feature, you won’t have to. Aside from the large LCD screen for easier temperature selection, the PurSteam Iron has a plethora of features to make ironing easier. GETTING STARTED
HOW TO USE
- Remove all labels, stickers, and tags from the iron’s body and soleplate.
- For ironing, use regular tap water.
- Turn on the iron and let it stand for 90 seconds before starting to iron for best results.
- When the iron is turned on but not in use, always place it on its heel rest.
HOW TO FILL WITH WATER
Tilt the iron and pour water into the water tank opening with a clean filling cup until the water reaches the MAX level indicated on the water tank. As needed, refill.
NOTE: If you need to add water while ironing, unplug the iron and repeat the steps above.
HOW TO SET THE TEMPERATURE
- Connect the iron. The power indicator light will turn red and a beep will sound. The iron will be in standby mode, with the word “OFF” displayed on the LCD display.
- Press the Temperature Setting “UP/DOWN” button until you reach your desired temperature setting from 1 to 9.
- The setting number and fabric type will be displayed on the digital display. When heating, the fabric type will flash on the display.
- When you reach your desired temperature, the iron will beep once and the fabric type will stop flashing.
- Simply press the Temperature Setting button to change the temperature settings while ironing. When a lower setting is chosen, the fabric type will flash until the iron temperature is reduced to the appropriate level for that setting.

HOW TO IRON WITH STEAM
- When steam ironing, make sure the water tank is completely full.
- Make sure the Variable Steam Knob is slid to the appropriate position, and then press the Temperature Setting button to the appropriate steam setting for your fabric.
- When the desired temperature is reached, turn the Variable Steam Knob to the desired position and begin ironing.
- When you’re finished ironing, turn the Variable Steam knob off.
DRY IRONING
- To iron without steam, turn off the Variable Steam knob.
USING SPRAY MIST
- Make certain that the iron is filled with water.
- When using for the first time, press the Spray button several times.
3-WAY AUTO SHUTOFF
The following is how the automatic shutoff feature works:
- When the iron reaches the desired temperature, it will:
- When the iron is placed vertically, it will turn off after 8 minutes of inactivity.
- When the iron is placed horizontally, it will turn off after 30 seconds of inactivity.
- When the iron is tipped over on its side, it will turn off after 30 seconds of inactivity.
- When the iron is turned off, it will beep six times, and the color of the digital display will change from blue to red, with the word “PAUSE” flashing on the screen.
- As soon as you pick up the iron, it will begin heating to the desired temperature. Wait for the iron to completely reheat before resuming operation.
HOW TO EMPTY THE WATER TANK
- Allow the iron to cool before unplugging it.
- Hold the iron over a sink with the tip pointing down to empty the water. Water will drain from the water tank opening.

Yes. There is a no steam setting that can be set by simply turning the knob.
My pur steam iron (of 6 months) will no longer heat up. Why is this happening? I checked the cord, heat setting, water, and outlet.
I’d call the manufacturer unfortunately. I go through many irons & I always take out the insurance for them & it always works in my favor.

Don’t know actual weight but it’s a nice sturdy iron, more so than another higher name brand I have in another home.

Yes it does come back on in the last setting.

There was a manual in my box. It’s an Iron. Plug it in, turn it on, fill the water tank. Pretty simple.
