User Manual
General Information
- Surge in the mains (stroke of lightning, short-term spikes in the mains voltage etc.) may damage the electronic devices and your device may be out of order.
- X-tendia Surge Protected Group Socket ensures protection for electronic devices such as televisions, desktop and laptop computers, audio systems, printers and scanners against sudden surges in the mains and effects such as stroke of lightning.
- Spikes in the mains are cut off by X-tendia Surge Protected Group Socket. In this way, X-tendia Surge Protected Group Socket provides properly voltage value for your devices. Please note that the product is not a regulator. The product is capable of preventing instantaneous voltage increases by means of the varistor located on the electronic circuit.
- In case of surge that is not possible to prevent over X-tendia Surge Protected Group Socket (6000V and more) varistor becomes open circuit. In this case, the thermal breaker on the device is switched on. The electronic devices connected to the X-tendia Surge Protected Group Socket are protected against damages. However, in this case the product loses its protection function and becomes unusable. The orange and green light on the product go out. In such a case, the product is to be replaced.
- There are 3 different protection on the product. These protections are between L-N (Phase-Neutral), L-PE (Phase-Earth) and N-PE (Neutral-Earth).
Usage

Make sure to use the product by plugging into the earthed socket connected directly to the mains.

Activate the product by pushing the on / off switch on the product. Once the product is activated, the orange light on the switch button is turned on.

Once you plug in the product, the protection function will become active and the green “Protected” light is turned on.
Please make sure that this light is turned on. Otherwise, your product will not provide protection. -
Insert product you desire to operate into one of the outlets on the product. From now on your device is under protection.

Push on the on / off switch to shut down the product. The orange light on the product will be turned off. The green light on the product will be on until the product is completely disconnected from the mains.
Warnings
*Please read the warnings section carefully before using this product.
- In compliance with “IP20” protection class, the products are intended for indoor use.
- Do not install the products on a damp or conductive surface.
- Surge Protected Socket must be used with earthed socket which is directly connected to the mains.
- Panasonic Electric vet Electronic End. San. Tic. A.S. may not be held responsible for injuries or damages resulting from improper use or installation of the products.
- These symbols on the products, packaging, and/or accompanying documents mean that used electrical and electronic products and batteries should not be mixed with general household waste.
- Only the surfaces of the product may be cleaned. Disconnect the product and remove all devices connected to the product before cleaning and use only a damp-dry cloth to clean the product. Do not use aerosol sprays, solvents or abrasive materials for cleaning.
- There are no user-serviceable parts on the product.
Warranty Conditions
- Warranty period starts as of the delivery date of the product and it is 2 years.
- Warranty covers the malfunctions likely to occur due to the manufacturing defects of the product and within the warranty period.
- The product including all of its parts is under warranty as a whole. If the product turns out to be defective, the consumer can use one of the following rights stipulated in Article 11 of Consumer Protection Law no. 6502; a- Withdrawal from the contract, b- Demanding discount from sales free, e- Demanding free repair, d- Demanding the replacement of the sold one with a fungible one free from defects.
- In case the consumer chooses the right of free repair among those rights; the dealer is obliged to repair the product or have the product repaired without claiming any fee under the name of replaced part fee, labor cost or for any other reasons. The consumer can also use the right of free repair against the manufacturer or exporter. The dealer, manufacturer and exporter are jointly and severally liable for the usage of this right by the consumer.
- In case the consumer uses the right of free repair and if the product: fails within the warranty period again and the maximum period required for the repair is exceeded and Authorized service station, dealer, manufacturer or exporter state that it’s not possible to repair the product in a report, the consumer can demand the return of the product fee, fee discount at the ratio of the defect or the replacement with the one free of defects, if possible, from the dealer. The dealer can not reject the demand of the consumer. In case this demand is not met, the dealer, manufacturer and exporter sail jointly and severally be held responsible.
- The repair period of the product can not exceed 20 business days. This period starts on the notification of the failure on the product to the authorized service station or the dealer within the warranty period and from the date of delivery of the product to the authorized service station out of warranty period. in case of not eliminating the product malfunction within 10 business days, manufacturer or importer is obliged to dedicate another product with similar characteristics to the use of the consumer until the completion of the product repair. In case the product fails within the warranty period, elapsed time is added to the warranty period.
- Usage of the product contrary to the rules stipulated in user’s manual, operating out of determined voltage, current and environmental conditions, damage on the cable connection due to the user’s fault and failure of the product due to the facts arising from the fire, flood, earthquake, lightning and similar disasters are not under warranty.
- The consumer can apply to the arbitration committee for consumers or the consumer court where the consumer operations are made or in the residential area for the disputes to be occurred regarding the usage of the rights arising from the warranty.
- In case the dealer doesn’t provide this certificate of warranty, the consumer can apply to the General Directorate of Consumer Protection and Market Surveillance of Ministry of Customs and Trade” WARRANTY CONDITIONS WLTA12415 WLTA12615
