I don’t know, but it definitely has a cord.
Does anyone else get no steam? It boils but there’s no visible steam.
I got steam but had to hold it closer to the garment then was recommended.
Can I use on my hair? In the gentle setting ?
I actually use this on my hair. Just don’t fill the water all the way to top, and keep it at a distance. Water only spits out of the steamer when you overfill it with water.
Size of the steamer ?
It is a handheld size being 8inches tall from the bottom of the tank to the highest point and the base’s diameter at its widest is about 3.5inches across. The “tank” holds a bit under one cup of water- about 7 ounces. (Works great for a quick touch-up.)
The posting says this weighs almost 4 pounds. Is that true?
While I have not weighed it myself, that does sound about right based on me holding it and comparing it to a 5lb dumbbell. It’s on the lighter side.
Can I use this steamer in any angle? I would like to sanitize my bed mattress. And does this steamer kills bacteria?
Not sure about the bacteria. Have to check the temp. But I did steam my bed. Be prepared for water to spit out though. Yes it worked vertically.
Are you able to use the Steamer vertically and horizontally?
I didn’t try it completely horizontal. I did move it sort of sideways and it was fine – no leaking. The seal seems pretty tight once screwed together.
Has anyone noticed any shrinkage of fabric?
Not at all. My son uses it for his clothes all of the time and he is a football player. He would be the 1st to notice something like that!
How many garments/how many minutes does it work for before refilling? thank you
Depends on material but on a men polo shirt size 2X, took me about 7 minutes and then I refilled it for a second round but not because it was necessary, only because I’m a perfectionist.
Can I use this to sanitize my bearded dragons tank of parasites? Does it get up to 250°
Mine leaked when sitting straight up. My advice would be spend more money for better quality.
