  • NEVER POINT THE NOZZLE TO YOUR FACE OR ANY PART OF YOUR SKIN. THIS CAN CAUSE SCALDING AND SERIOUS INJURIES.
  • Do not immerse in water or any other liquids.
  • Fill the water tank with water ONLY. Do not add any other liquids or chemicals to the reservoir as it may damage the unit or cause an injury.
  • Make sure the steamer is NOT plugged in before filling the tank with water and it has cooled down completely before cleaning it.
  • Do not let the power cord come directly in contact with the hot steam or pull the power cord around sharp edges. It could cause damage or possible injury.
  • The electrical outlet voltage must correspond to that of the appliance. Connecting to incorrect voltage may cause damage to the unit and will void your warranty.
  • Please do not repair the machine on your own. If the steamer, the power cord or the plug is damaged, have a qualified appliance repair person check it before you use it.
  • Do not share the outlet with any other high-powered electrical appliances

HOW TO USE

  • Open the steamer nozzle and fill the tank with water to the maximum fill line. Do not overfill. After filling the water tank, close the nozzle back into place.

NOTE: Use only COLD water when filling the water tank. Hot water can overheat the unit and cause severe damage and scalding. Distilled water is recommended.

  • Plug the steamer into an outlet rated for its voltage. Press the power button and the indicator light will turn on.

  • The steamer will start to heat up. Allow one or two minutes for water to warm up and the steamer will begin to produce steam through the nozzle.

  • Begin by pointing the nozzle towards the wrinkled area of the fabric you want to steam. Move the steamer slowly up and down holding it in an upright position. Do not hold the steam in one spot for long periods of time.

When the water tank is empty, the steamer will automati- cally turn off, leaving the indicator light on. If you wish to continue steaming further, follow these steps:

  1. Press the power button to turn the indicator light off. Unplug the steamer from the outlet.
  2. Open the steamer nozzle and refill the water tank by following the steps above.
  3. Plug the steamer back into the outlet, and press the power button to turn the steamer on. The water will start to warm up.
  4. When finished steaming, turn the steamer off by pressing the power button and gently unplug the steamer from the outlet.

CAUTION: We do not recommend using an extension cord but if it is necessary a proper gauge extension cord rated for the appropriate power must be used.

  • Please pay extra attention that nobody trips over the extension cord and that it is not overheating!

NOTE: Never use the steamer in a horizontal position or tilt backwards.

  • Do not direct steam at people or animals or use the steamer on garments while they are being worn.

CLEANING AND STORAGE

CLEANING

  1. Allow the steamer to cool down for at least 10 minutes before emptying any excess water from the water tank.
  2. After emptying the water, clean the steamer with a dry cloth. Do not use coarse fabric to clean the steamer. This can cause scratches and damage to the unit.

STORING

  1. Store the steamer in a cool and dry area in an upright position.
  2. Do not wrap the power cord around the steamer. This can cause possible damage to the unit.

NOTE: To avoid mineral build-up, make sure to empty ALL excess water from the water tank before storing the steamer.

REMOVING MINERAL BUILD-UP

  • Tap water can cause faster mineral build-up inside the steamer’s internal heater. You may experience sporadic steam or no steam at all.
  • To avoid this problem, only use de-mineralized or distilled water as recommended
  • However, if you experience mineral build-up in the steamer, we recommend following these steps:
  1. Turn the steamer off and gently unplug the power cord. Wait approximately 30 minutes for the steamer to cool down.
  2. Add 50% water, and 50% vinegar solution to the water reservoir.
  3. Wait three to five minutes and pour the solution out of the water reservoir.

NOTE: If the mineral build-up in the steamer is severe, we recommend repeating this process at least once a month.

TROUBLESHOOTING

  • If the steamer is not operating properly, please check the following problems and solutions.
  • If you are still experiencing difficulties operating the steamer. please contact the seller for a replacement.

The unit is not heating up

  • The steamer should heat up in approximately one to two minutes.
  • If the steamer does not heat up, check these possible problems:
  • The steamer is not plugged into a power outlet.
  • The water tank is empty. The steamer will automatically turn off when the water level is low. This feature prevents the steamer from overheating.

The unit fails to produce the steam

  • The water in the reservoir is too low or the reservoir is empty. Turn the power button off and refill the water reservoir. The water inside the reservoir remains hot after the unit is turned off, empty with caution as this can cause severe scalding
  • Mineral build-up. Follow the removal mineral build-up procedure as recommended.

Leaking water from the nozzle

  • The water tank is filled up over the maximum water fill line.
  • Pour out the excess water from the water tank until the water is under the maximum water fill line.

The nozzle makes a gurgling noise

  • Hold the steamer in an upright (vertical) position and gently shake it.
  • This allows water condensation around the nozzle to drain back into the water reservoir.

Sporadic steam

  • Mineral build-up. Follow the removal mineral build-up procedure as recommended.
