GENERAL
These operating instructions contain important information for the first use and normal operation of this product.
Read through the complete operating instructions carefully before using the product for the first time. Read the operating instructions for other devices which are to be operated with this product or which are to be connected to this product. Keep these operating instructions for future use or for future users‘ reference.
Failure to follow the operating instructions and safety instructions may
result in damage to the product and hazards (injuries) for the operator and
other persons.
The operating instructions refer to applicable standards and regulations of
the European Union. Please also adhere to the laws and guidelines specific to
your country.
The product is used for charging 1-4 NiMH AA / AAA rechargeable batteries with standard capacities. The product is intended exclusively for private household use and not for commercial use. Use outside that stipulated in the information is improper use and this can result in damage to property or personal injury. We accept no liability for damage caused by incorrect or improper use.
GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
This product may be used by children from the age of 8 and by persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or lack of experience and
knowledge, if they have been instructed on the safe use of the product and are
aware of the hazards. Children are not permitted to play with the product.
Children are not permitted to carry out cleaning or care without supervision.
Keep the product and the packaging away from children. This product is not a
toy. Children should be supervised in order to ensure that they do not play
with the product or packaging.
Observe all information and safety instructions on the charger and on the
rechargeable batteries before using the charger.
Always insert rechargeable batteries with the correct polarity (+ and -) as
shown in the charge slot.
Check rechargeable batteries for damage before charging. If there is damage,
do not use the product with a defective battery. Dispose of defective
rechargeable battery.
The product is categorised as protective class III and thus operates with a
nonhazardous voltage range.
Do not expose to potentially explosive environments where there are flammable
liquids, dusts or gases.
Never submerge the product in water or other liquids.
Charge only rechargeable NiMH batteries Do not use the device if it is wet.
Never operate the device with wet hands.
The product may only be charged in closed, dry and spacious rooms, away from
combustible materials and liquids. Disregard can result in burns and fires.
Leaking battery fluid can cause irritation if it comes into contact with the
skin. Immediately rinse affected areas with fresh water and then seek medical
attention.
DANGER OF FIRE AND EXPLOSION
Never use non-rechargeable batteries (e.g. alkaline or lithium)!
Do not use while still in the packaging.
Do not cover the product – risk of fire.
Never expose the product to extreme conditions, such as extreme heat/cold etc.
Do not use in the rain or in damp areas.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Do not throw or drop
Do not open or modify the product! Repair work shall only be carried out by
the manufacturer or by a service technician appointed by the manufacturer or
by a similarly qualified person.
Disconnect the device from the power supply only by pulling on the plug or
plug housing, never on the cable.
OPERATION
- Insert each rechargeable battery with the correct polarity as shown by the marking in the charge bay.
- Connect the charger with the USB cable provided.
- Connect the USB cable to any USB power source (e.g. mains adapter, powerbank, PC).
- The charge indicator for each battery illuminates in red and the time-controlled charge process begins. You should not insert any additional rechargeable batteries while the charge process is running as full charging cannot then be assured.
- After ca. 18 hours the charge process ends automatically and the charge indicator extinguishes. Each battery has been fully charged.
- Remove the batteries and disconnect the charger from the power supply before using it again. It is not possible to start a new charging process without disconnecting the charger from the power supply (= timer reset).
Note: The timer protects the rechargeable batteries from damaging over- charging. It has been set such that all standard NiMH AA / AAA rechargeable batteries can be fully charged.

The product complies with the requirements from the EU directives.
ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION | DISPOSAL
Dispose of packaging after sorting by material type. Cardboard and cardboard
to the waste paper, film to the recycling collection.
Dispose of the unusable product in accordance with legal provisions.
The „waste bin“ symbol indicates that, in the EU, it is not permitted to dispose of electrical equipment in household waste. Use the return and collection systems in your area or contact the dealer from whom you purchased the product.
For disposal, pass the product on to a specialist disposal point for old
equipment. Do not dispose of the device with household waste!
In this way you will fulfil your legal obligations and contribute to
environmental protection.
