IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using the electrical appliance, the below basic safety precautions should be followed:

Before use, check that the voltage power corresponds to that which is shown on the appliance nameplate.

Do not operate this appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance has malfunctioned. Return the appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair or adjustment.

If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or a similarly qualified person, in order to avoid a hazard.

Use the appliance on a dry, clean, level and stable work surface.
-
The food should not be heated for too long.
-
Do not allow the cord to hang over the edge of the table or counter, where it can be pulled on by children or unintentionally tripped over.
-
Do not allow the cord to touch hot surfaces.
-
Do not place the appliance on or near a hot gas, electric burner or in a heated oven.
-
Never turn on the appliance without filling the chamber with water.
-
Do not move the appliance or pull on the cord during operation.
-
Do not add or use with an extension cord.

Danger of scalding! Steam escapes from the top of the appliance during operation. DO NOT directly face the bottle warmer during heating or when removing the top cover.

Do not place your hands in or around the warming chamber during heating.
-
Always use mitts or tongs when handling hot parts. Avoid the hot steam which escapes the appliance immediately after the completed cycle when the appliance is no longer in use.

The water in the chamber remains hot even after other parts of the appliance cool down. Please handle carefully.

Danger of burns! To avoid being scalded, DO NOT touch hot parts of the appliance such as the base, heating elements of the base, top cover etc.

The surface of the heating element is subject to residual heat after use.
-
The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock or injury.

Always disconnect the appliance from the power supply if it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning. Before cleaning, ensure the appliance has cooled down completely.

To protect against the risk of electric shock, do not immerse any part of the appliance or cord in water or any other liquid.

To prevent injury to the child, test temperature of contents before giving bottle to your child! When heating baby food, always test temperature before feeding your child.

The appliance is not to be used by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instructions.

Children being supervised not to play with the appliance.

This appliance is intended to be used in households and similar settings such as:
— Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
— Farm houses;
— By clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
— Bed and breakfast type environments. -

Misuse may cause injury.

CAUTION: To prevent damage to the appliance, do not use alkaline cleaning agents when cleaning. Use a soft cloth and a mild detergent.

The following marking is the symbol for Hot Surfaces, and alerts danger of a potential scalding hazard.
CAUTION: Hot Surface!
The surface is hot and should not be touched.
WARNINGS
- ALWAYS shake bottle / stir food well to ensure even heat distribution and test temperature of contents before feeding your baby.
- ALWAYS check the temperature of milk and food before feeding your child. Test milk by placing drops onto the inside of your wrist. Test food temperature by placing a metal spoon to the bottom of the container, wait 5 seconds, withdraw the spoon, and rest the spoon against your lip.
- ALWAYS turn the appliance off after each use and unplug to clean.
- DO NOT use glass bottles in Bottle Warmer – sudden temperature change may cause glass to break.
- DO NOT immerse this appliance in water.
- DO NOT use scouring pads, solvents or abrasive cleaners to clean this appliance.

EXPLANATION OF SETTINGS
1| OFF| Off setting: The bottle warmer is switched off and the power
indicator light is off.

2| | Defrost setting: Defrost a bottle of milk or baby food to liquid state.
No warming will occur.
3| | Keep warm setting: Milk is warmed to around 42°C and will retain this
temperature.
4| | Heat Food setting: To warm a container / jar of baby food.
5| | Sterilise setting: To sterilise baby bottle, teat and lid. Water in the
warming chamber can reach 100°C, and steam escapes from the vent in
the lid.
BEFORE FIRST USE
- Unpack all the packing materials and dispose of properly.
- Before using the bottle warmer, it is strongly advisable to clean all parts thoroughly. Refer to the “CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE” section for instructions.
USING THE BOTTLE WARMER
- Before connecting the power supply, make sure the supply voltage is the same as the required voltage for the bottle warmer.
- Before plugging in the appliance, ensure the bottle warmer has been filled with the appropriate amount of distilled water to avoid dry boiling.
- Ensure that the bottle stand is fixed on top of the heating plate, and is on a flat surface.
- Unplug the appliance when not in use to prevent it from being inadvertently switched on.
Using the bottle warmer with the Defrost/Keep Warm settings
- Insert the plug to the mains power socket outlet.
- Place the milk bottle in the bottle warmer.
- Fill the warming chamber with distilled water up to the level of the milk in the bottle (Fig.1).
In case of large amounts of milk, the maximum level of water is approximately 1.5cm below the top of the bottle warmer (Fig.2).![anko 43140169 Bottle Warmer

Use the control knob to select the desired setting . The indicator lamp will light up when the heating phase is carried out.
Note: The indicator lamp turns on and off: indicates that the heater is turning on and off to maintain a steady temperature. -
Remove the milk bottle after warming the contents to the required temperature. Allow it to cool before handling.

Switch off the appliance by turning the control knob to “OFF” position.

Wait 10 minutes before heating a second bottle to avoid overheating.
-
Refill with fresh water before operating for the second time.
-
When finished, allow the appliance to cool down, then empty the bottle warmer.

IMPORTANT!
- For hygiene reasons, food should not be kept warm for more than 20 minutes.
- Do not warm milk for too long, otherwise the milk will be overheated.
- ALWAYS shake bottle / stir food well to ensure even heat distribution and test temperature of contents before giving bottle to child.
- For warming time, refer to the reference table below.

Using the bottle warmer with the Heat Food setting

Insert the plug to the mains power socket outlet.

Place baby food into a heat-resistant container and then place it into the bottle warmer.

Fill the warming chamber with distilled water up to the level of food in the container (Fig.1) on page 4. For larger containers, the maximum level of water is approximately 1.5cm below the top of the bottle warmer (Fig.2) on page 4.

Select Heat food setting . The indicator lamp will light up.
**** DO NOT seal the bottles or jars during heating. Excessive pressure may build up and present a risk of explosion or material damage. -
The indicator lamp turns on and off: indicates that the heater is turning on and off to maintain a steady temperature.

Remove the food container after warming the contents to the required temperature. Allow it to cool before handling.
-
Switch off the appliance by turning the control knob to “OFF” position.
-
Wait 10 minutes before heating a second bottle or container to avoid overheating.
-
Refill with fresh water before operating for the second time.
-
When finished, allow the appliance to cool down, then empty the bottle warmer.
Note: Before heating and feeding, please remember to stir the food well
to ensure even heat distribution.
Note: Due to various baby food consistencies, it is strongly recommended
that you continuously stir the contents for the optimal result.
Using the bottle warmer with the Sterilise setting

Insert the plug to the mains power socket outlet.
-
Place the empty milk bottle, teat and lid upside down into the bottle warmer (Fig.3).

Pour 50-80ml of distilled water into the bottle warmer, then place the bottle warmer lid into position as per diagram (Fig.4).

Turn the control knob to Sterilise setting . The indicator lamp will light up.
-
Sterilising cycle will be completed in approximately 30 minutes.

Switch off the appliance by turning the control knob to the “OFF” position.
-
Allow the appliance to cool down, then carefully open the lid and remove the items from the warmer.
Warning of scalding! Do not move the appliance while it contains hot water or steam is escaping. -
Empty the water out of the appliance.
Note: ALWAYS allow the teat to cool before feeding baby.
DRY BOIL PROTECTION
The appliance will automatically switch off when there is no water or
insufficient water in the bottle warmer. ALWAYS ensure the bottle warmer
contains a minimum (MIN) level of water (~50ml) before operation.
If the dry-boil protection has activated, allow the appliance to cool down
before turning it ON again.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
DO NOT use solvents, petrol, alcohol, kerosene, washing powder, cleanser,
alkaline detergent, acid, chemical cloths, etc. as these products may damage
the plastics and components.
DO NOT touch the heating plate using sharp objects or metal tools as it may
cause an electric shock.
CAUTION: To prevent damage to the appliance, do not use alkaline cleaning
agents when cleaning. Clean using a soft damp cloth and mild detergent.

Switch off and unplug the bottle warmer after each use. Allow it to cool down to room temperature before handling.

Remove the water from the bottle warmer.
-
Pull out the bottle stand from the warming chamber.
-
Wipe the outer and inner side of the bottle warmer with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquid.

Rinse the top cover and bottle stand with tap water.
-
Dry with a dry soft cloth.
Note: If you used the bottle warmer to warm containers containing baby food, ensure that no spilled baby food remains on the bottom. -
Turn the sterilising lid upside down and place it into the warming chamber. Store the bottle warmer in a safe, dry place.
DESCALING
It is recommended to descale the bottle warmer every four weeks to ensure it continues to work efficiently.
- Mix 10g of citric acid cleaner / white vinegar with 200ml of cold water to descale the bottle warmer.
- Turn on the bottle warmer, select the Sterilise setting and operate for 10 minutes.
- Turn off the bottle warmer and stand for a further 10 minutes until the scale has completely dissolved.
- Empty the bottle warmer and clean with clean water.

materials and workmanship for the period stated above, from the date of
purchase, provided that the product is used in accordance with accompanying
recommendations or instructions where provided.
This warranty is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Kmart will provide you with your choice of a refund, repair or exchange (where
possible) for this product if it becomes defective within the warranty period.
Kmart will bear the reasonable expense of claiming the warranty. This warranty
will no longer apply where the defect is a result of alteration, accident,
misuse, abuse or neglect.

your product. Warranty claims and claims for expenses incurred in returning

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian
Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure
and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are
also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be
of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
For New Zealand customers, this warranty is in addition to statutory rights
observed under New Zealand legislation.
