SAFETY

  • By ignoring the safety instructions the manufacturer cannot be held responsible for the damage.

  • If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

  • Never move the appliance by pulling the cord and make sure the cord cannot become entangled.

  • The appliance must be placed on a stable, level surface.

  • The user must not leave the device unattended while it is connected to the supply.

  • This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

  • Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.

  • WARNING: Spilled food can cause serious burns. Keep appliances and cords away from children. Never drape the cord over the edge of counter, never use the outlet below the counter, and never use it with an extension cord.

  • The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries.

  • Do not use outdoors.

  • Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.

  • Do not clean with metal scouring pads. Pieces can break off the pad and touch electrical parts, creating a risk of electricshock.

  • Use extreme caution when removing tray or disposing of hot grease

  • Extreme caution must be used when moving appliances containing hot oil or other hot liquids.

  • CAUTION: To protect against damage or electric shock, do not cook in the base unit. Always use the provided baking pan to cook.

  • To disconnect, press the power button, let the appliance cool down and remove the plug.

  • Do not use a frying basket or aero plate if dented or worn.

  • WARNING: Never deep-fry in the Aerofryer, regardless of whether the lid is on or off. THIS
    IS DANGEROUS, AND CAN CAUSE A FIRE AND SERIOUS DAMAGE.

  • Before placing the baking pan or aero plate into the base, ensure both are dry by wiping with a soft cloth.

  • Always ensure the appliance is properly assembled before use.

  • Care should be taken when lifting the frying basket from the base, it’s recommended to use oven mittens.

  • When the removable frying basket is empty do not heat it for more than 10 minutes, this may damage the cooking surface.

  • To avoid possible damage from steam, place the unit away from walls and cabinets during use.

  • This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:

  • Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices, and other working environments.

  • By clients in hotels, motels, and other residential-type environments.

  • Bed and breakfast type environments.

  • Farm houses.

  • Children shall not play with the appliance.

  • This appliance shall not be used by children. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.

  • To protect yourself against an electric shock, do not immerse the cord, plug or appliance in water or any other liquid.

  • Do not heat the food for too long.

  • The heating element surface is subject to residual heat after use.

  • The connector must be removed before the appliance will be cleaned, please make sure the inlet is completely dry before the unit will be used again.

  • The surface is liable to get hot during use.

  • WARNING: If the surface is cracked, switch off the appliance to avoid the possibility of an electric shock.

  • The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high when the appliance is operating.

  • The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or a separate remote-control system.

  • The appliance is to be connected to a socket-outlet having an earthed contact (for class I appliances).

  • In order to prevent disruptions of the airflow not put anything on top of the appliance and make sure there is always 10 centimeters of free space around the appliance.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE

  • Remove all packaging material.
  • Remove any stickers or labels from the appliance.
  • Thoroughly clean the parts with hot water, some washing-up liquid, and a non-abrasive sponge.
  • Wipe the inside and outside of the appliance with a moist cloth.
  • Place the appliance on a stable, horizontal, and level surface, do not place the appliance on non-heat-resistant surfaces.
  • This is an air fryer that works on hot air. Do not fill the pan with oil or frying fat.
  • Use only fresh, cold tap water, softened water, or carbonated mineral water.

OPERATION

Functions of the Control Panel

Power

  • Press the power icon to activate the appliance when it is in stand mode.
  • Press the power icon to start an operation.

Time Up and Down

  • Use the Time + and – icons to increase or decrease the time in 1-minute increments. The time can be set between 1 – 90 minutes.
  • Press and hold the Time + or – icons for rapid increase/decrease of the time.

Time and Temperature display

  • Displays the cooking time or temperature.

Temperature Up and Down

  • Use the Temperature plus and minus icons to increase or decrease the temperature by 5°C increments. The temperature can be set between 80°C – 200°C.
  • Press and hold the plus or minus icons for rapid increase/decrease of the temperature.

CLEANING / DESCALING

  • Press the cleaning/descaling icon to automatically clean and descale the appliance.

FILL WATER

  • The Fill Water indicator icon will illuminate when the water tank is empty

STEAM

  • Press the STEAM icon to activate the steam function.

AIR FRY

  • Press the AIR FRY icon to activate the air frying function.

COMBO

  • Press the COMBO icon to activate the STEAM and AIR FRY function simultaneously, the air fryer will begin with steaming then switch to air frying.

STEAM/ AIRFRY

  • When using the COMBO feature, press the Steam/ Air Fry icon to switch from programming the steaming time to programming the time and temperature for air frying.
9 Pre-set programs

VEGETABLES, FISH, PASTA, FRIES, CAKE, MEAT, BREAD, CHICKEN, CRUSTACEANS.

  • Touch the icon of the desired pre-set cooking program. The preset time and temperature for the selected program will show alternatively in the display.
  • See chapter ‘Aerofryer pre-set programs for more information.

Operation indicators

  • Runs consecutively in the display when the appliance is in operation.

Use

  • Put the mains plug in an earthed wall socket.
  • Carefully pull the basket out of the Aerofryer.
  • If desired place the aero plate into the basket. The aero plate is designed so that you can use it for both large and small portions. If you have a large portion of food, fold in the legs under the plate. For small portions of food, unfold the legs under the plate.
  • Add the ingredients into the basket.
  • Slide the basket back into the Aerofryer.
  • Touch the power icon to activate the display.
  • Choose for either manual input of the time and temperature for AirFrying, Steaming or for both using the COMBO feature or choose oneof the 9 pre-set programs.

AIR FRYING

  • Press the Air Fry icon.

  • Use the Time Up and Down and the Temperature Up and Down icons to set the desired time and temperature.

  • Press the Power button to start the operation. The ‘’ in operation’’ will run in the display and the operation will start.
    Note: For best results, some ingredients require shaking halfway through the preparation time. To shake the ingredients –

  • Halfway through the operation, pull the basket out of the Aerofryer by the handle, the operation will stop.

  • Shake the ingredients as needed.

  • Slide the basket back into the Aerofryer. The operation will automatically resume.

  • Do not touch the inside of the basket during and sometime after use as it gets very hot. Only hold the basket by the handle.

  • When the operation is complete the appliance will beep 5 times and then shut down after 20 seconds.

  • Carefully remove the ingredients from the basket.

  • Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool down completely beforecleaning.

STEAM

  • Remove the water tank from the appliance and turn the stopper to open it.
  • Fill the water tank with water. Always fill with pure water as this helps to delay a limescale build-up. Make sure to properly secure the stopper. Place the water tank back onto the device.
  • Press the STEAM icon. The icon will flash and the temperature will be set automatically to 100°C.
  • When the appliance is in steam mode, you cannot adjust the temperature.
  • Set the steaming time by using the Time UP and Down icons.
  • Press the Power icon to start the operation. The ‘’ in operation’’ will run in the display and the operation start.
  • When the operation is complete the appliance will beep 5 times then shut down after 20 seconds.
  • Carefully remove the ingredients from the basket.
  • Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool down completely beforecleaning.

FILL WATER

If the water tank runs empty while the appliance is steaming, the FILL WATER indicator will flash and an alarm will go off. Please refill the water tank and place it back onto the Aerofryer. The indicator light will stop flashing and the alarm will stop. If the water tank is short of water for more than 2 minutes, the appliance will automatically shut down.

COMBO

Use the COMBO function if you want to STEAM then AIR FRY your food consecutively. The food will first be steamed then Air fried. You must first set the steaming time, then set the air frying time and temperature.

  • Press the COMBO icon, and the Steam and Steam to Air fry icons will flash.
  • Set the steaming time by using the Time Up and Down icons.
  • Press the Steam/ Air fry icon to switch from Combo Steam programming to Combo Air Fry programming.
  • Set the air frying time by using the Time Up and Down icons.
  • Press the Power icon to start the operation.
  • When the operation is complete the appliance will beep 5 times and then shut down after 20 seconds.
  • Carefully remove the ingredients from the basket.
  • Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool down completely before cleaning.

Pre-set Programs

  • For using the pre-set programs press the icon for desired preset.

The icon will flash.

  • The time and temperature can be adjusted manually by pressing the Time Up and Down and Temperature Up and Down icons, see the adjustment range in the table.
  • Press the power icon to start the operation. The “in operation’’ indicators will run in the display.

Note: When the product is not in use for 20 seconds, the appliance will return to standby mode.

  • Once the appliance in operation, the programs cannot be changed without canceling the operation first.
  • To cancel an operation, press the power icon. The fan will stop and the buzzer will ring 5 times before the appliance shuts down.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Before cleaning, unplug the appliance and wait for the appliance to cool down.

Cleaning/descaling

When the device has been operating in the Steam mode for over 20 hours in total, the Cleaning/Descaling icon will flash indicating that is time to descale the appliance. You must allow the descaling process to run its course completely. If the operation is aborted before descaling is complete the descaling icon will remain to flash.

  • Press the descaling icon to start descaling the appliance.
  • Make sure the water tank is filled with water. Mixing with any ratios of citric acid or vinegar essence (both in food grade) into the water would be conducive to fast dissolution of the limescale inside the steam boiler.
  • The working time of this mode is 25 minutes.
  • Use a soft damp cloth to wipe clean the exterior of the appliance
  • Use a small brush or cotton swab if necessary. Never pour any liquid into the base of the unit.
  • Wash the removable parts (frying basket and aero plate) in warm soapy water with a soft cloth or sponge.
  • Note that the basket, aero plate, and condensation tray are dishwasher safe. However, we recommend washing them by hand as this will be beneficial for the lifetime of the product.
  • Dry each piece thoroughly.
  • When cleaning or cooking with the basket, never use metal utensils or scouring pads in order to avoid damage to the nonstick coating.
  • Never use harsh chemical detergents, scouring pads or powders on any of the parts or accessories.

Storing Instructions

  • Unplug the appliance and allow the unit to cool completely.
  • Always empty the water tank before storing the appliance, the water can go bad before the next use.
  • Store the frying basket, aero plate and condensation tray inside the unit.
  • Store the unit in its original box or covered in a cool, dry place.

TROUBLESHOOTING

The unit is equipped with safety features that will shut the unit down if an abnormal condition is encountered during cooking. An error signal will be displayed on the control panel. Depending on the error, audible beeping may be heard. If the item shows an E error code, please unplug your device and try again. If this won’t work please contact our Aftersales service.

This appliance should not be put into the domestic garbage at the end of its durability but must be offered at a central point for the recycling of electric and electronic domestic appliances.
