Top up grease every day before use by blowing in air. The filler is used to fill the grease gun with grease from a filling pump. There are three different ways of topping the grease up:
- topping up with a cartridge
- topping up by hand
- topping up with a filling pump
Topping up with a cartridge
- Remove the top of the container pipe of the grease gun.
- Completely retract the pressure piston handle.
- Insert the open end of the cartridge into the container pipe.
- Close the grease gun with the help of the screw cap and re-fix the top to the container pipe.
- Slide the pressure piston handle in as deep as possible.
Topping up by hand
- Remove the top of the container pipe of the grease gun.
- Completely retract the pressure piston handle.
- Fill the container pipe with grease.
- Re-fix the top to the container pipe.
- Slide the pressure piston handle in as far as possible.
topping up with a filling pump
- Completely retract the pressure piston handle.
- Remove the screw cap of the top of the grease gun.
- Connect the filling pump with the grease gun via the filler.
- Activate the filling pump to fill the container pipe.
- Remove the filling pump from the grease gun.
- Close the top of the grease gun with the help of the screw cap.

Note! In case the grease gun does not work properly, this may be caused by air included in the container pipe. To remove the air, unscrew the top and proceed as follows:
- Completely retract the pressure piston handle and let it go quickly. Repeat this several times.
- Slide the pressure piston handle in up to the stop.
- Re-fix the top to the container pipe.
- Press the drain valve several times to evacuate the air.
