Before the First Use

Before using the appliance for the first time, ensure that all parts are properly assembled and in place.

  • If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons to avoid a hazard.
  • Never move the appliance by pulling the cord and make sure the cord cannot become entangled.

Warning

  • Operate this unit on a horizontal surface to avoid water leakage.
  • Do not operate this unit in an explosive or corrosive atmosphere.
  • Operate this unit in an ambient between 18⁰C and 40⁰C.
  • To avoid the household electricity block out, please do not use any extension cord for this unit.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE

  • Place the unit in the correct upright position before unpacking.
  • Take the appliance and accessories out of the box.
  • Before using your appliance for the first time, wipe off all removable parts with a damp cloth. Never use abrasive products.
  • Please ensure the unit is not placed against objects that will obstruct air intake e.g. furniture or curtains as this will affect its performance dramatically.
  • A distance of 20cm minimum must be kept between the unit and the wall or any other obstacles.

USE

  • Plug one end of the cord into the power socket of the dehumidifier, then connect the other side to the main socket.
  • The default setting is to run the unit automatically in inefficient work mode, the working indicator will be bright green. The air starts blowing from the dry air outlet.
  • Caution: If the working Indicator is blinking in green, please check if the water tank is assembled in the right way.
  • Switch the working mode
  • Press the touch switch once, it switches the working mode to sleep mode, the noise level will become lower and the working indicator will dimmer.
  • Press it again, and it switches the working mode to efficient work mode, the noise level is higher and the working indicator is brighter.
  • Suggestion: Please switch the device to sleep mode when using it in the bedroom at night.
  • Switch the unit on or off
  • Press the touch switch for a few seconds to switch the device on or off.
  • The working indicator turns off and the fan stops working when switching the unit off.
  • Remove/Assemble the water tank
  • When the water tank is full, it stops working automatically. The working indicator turns bright orange.
  • Press the switch a few seconds to switch the unit off, and unplug it from the main socket. Remove the water tank from the unit, then open the cover of the water outlet hole to pour the water out.
  • Assemble the cover of the water outlet hole well, then put the water tank back into the unit.
  • To continue dehumidifying, press the switch for a few seconds to switch the unit on. If the water tank is not assembled well, the working Indicator is blinking green.
  • Finish the dehumidifying, press the top switch to switch the device off, empty the water tank, and clean the unit, then place the unit in a cool and dry place.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Before cleaning, be sure to disconnect the unit from any electric supply outlet.
  • First, clean the surface with a neutral detergent and wet cloth, and then wipe it with a dry cloth.
  • Do not use gasoline or other chemicals to clean the unit.

STORAGE

  • Empty the water in the tank.
  • Store the unit in a cool and dry place.
