For the Hamaton Cap sensor installed on trailers/ trucks, the cap sensor is best installed onto one check port of hose. And its also could be installed on valve and air tank check port, we recommend to use 3N.m torque to tight the cap sensor onto the check port/ valves. If we installed on hose, we should keep the top of cap sensor towards the outside. orientation.

  • 3N.m standard torque tool.
  • open end wrench, No.9 or 10.

Installation Process

  1. Taking off the valve cap for check port or valves.
  2. Fit the cap sensor onto check port or valves, and pre-twist 2 or 3 turns.
  3. Use standard 3N.m torque wrench tight the sensor onto valve check port.
