CUSTOMER DISPLAY BCD-2000

This Installation Guide includes a brief outline of information necessary for product installation. For more detailed installation information, please refer to the user manual in  the enclosed CD. The contents of the CD include the following.

  1. Manual: User Manual, Command Manual, Code Page, Software Manuals
  2. Drivers: Windows Drivers, OPOS Drivers, VCOM(USB) Drivers
  3. SDK: mPOS SDK (Android, Windows, iOS)
  4. Utility: Customer Display Utility

◈ How to Connect (BCD-2000AU/NU/WAU/WNU)

  1. Install the USB Virtual COM driver.
  2. Connect the display cable to a computer via a USB port.
  3. Turn on the PC and display. The PC will automatically detect new hardware connected to the USB port.
  4. Once the driver is installed, the display is ready to receive data.

◈ Swivel

This device can be swiveled freely. Please follow the instructions below to avoid damage or malfunction when installing the device. To change the direction of the display after installation, follow the instructions provided below.

(a) Lower the body to the direction of the arrow. Spin the Nut Holder so the body goes down.(Refer to the OPEN/CLOSE indications on the product.)
(b) Swivel the body to the angle you want.
※ Caution
Do not turn the body more than once in the same direction.
(The body can be turned indefinitely.)
(c) After adjusting the angle, tighten the Nut Holder. (Keep the body from swiveling when moving it up and down.) Adjust the height of the body and tighten the Nut
Holder.
※ Caution
Do not over-tighten the Nut Holder as it can cause damage.
Please tighten so that the body does not move.

◈ Tilting
The device can be tilted to the degree you want.
Please follow the instructions below to avoid damage or malfunction when installing the device. It can be tilted up to 13° to each side with 4 levels and 5 positions. (Tilt: max. 52°)BIXOLON BCD 2000 Customer Display -

Do not tilt over the limit as it can cause damage.

◈ Safety Precautions

In using the present appliance, please keep the following safety regulations in order to prevent any hazard or material damage.

WARNING
Violating following instructions can cause serious injury or death.

Do not plug several products in one multi-outlet.

  • This can provoke over-heating and a fire.
  • If the plug is wet or dirty, dry or wipe it before usage.
  • If the plug does not fit perfectly with the outlet, do not plug in.
  • Be sure to use only standardized multi-outlets.

You must use only the supplied adapter.

  • It is dangerous to use other adapters.

Do not pull the cable to unplug.

  • This can damage the cable, which is the origin of a fire or a breakdown of the printer.

Keep the plastic bag out of children’s reach.

  • If not, a child may put the bag on his head.

Do not plug in or unplug with your hands wet.

  • You can be electrocuted.

Do not bend the cable by force or leave it under any heavy object.

  • A damaged cable can cause a fire.

CAUTION
Violating following instructions can cause slight wound or damage the appliance.

If you observe a strange smoke, odor or noise from the printer, unplug it before taking following measures.

  • Switch off the printer and unplug the set from the mains.
  • After the disappearance of the smoke, call your dealer to repair it.

Keep the desiccant out of children’s reach.

  • If not, they may eat it.

Install the printer on the stable surface.

  • If the printer falls down, it can be broken and you can hurt yourself.

Use only approved accessories and do not try to disassemble, repair or remodel it for yourself.

  • Call your dealer when you need these services.
  • Do not touch the blade of auto cutter.

Do not let water or other foreign objects in the printer.

  • If this happened, switch off and unplug the printer before calling your dealer.

Do not use the printer when it is out of order. This can cause a fire or an electrocution.
