Teleflex Micro Clave Neutral Displacement Connector
Micro Clave™ Neutral Displacement Connector General Precautions:
- Use aseptic technique and follow institutional policies and procedures for all instruction steps.
- Do not exceed 400 psig for pressure infusions. Refer to instructions for use for the vascular access device for pressure limitations.
- Change Micro Clave in accordance with institutional policies and procedures.
- Do not use needles, blunt cannulas or leer caps on Micro Clave connectors.
- Access Micro Clave connectors straight on without angle.
Directions:

Prime Micro Clave and place on catheter extension line.

Disinfect Micro Clave before accessing.

Allow Micro Clave to dry.

Attach IV tubing, syringe or blood tube holder to Micro Clave by inserting the luer and twisting until a friction fit is achieved.
Precaution: Do not over-tighten a leer beyond the friction fit as this may damage both the leer and the Micro Clave. -
Flush the Micro Clave with normal saline after each use. Micro Clave is a trademark of ICU Medical, In
