PREPARATION
Before beginning assembly of product, make sure all parts are present. Compare parts with package contents list and hardware contents list. If any part is missing or damaged, do not attempt to assemble the product.
Estimated Assembly Time: 30 minutes
Tools Required for Assembly (not included): Drill, 5/16” drill bit, screwdriver, level, pencil.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
-
Position the first pegboard in your desired location and make sure it is level.
For installation with optional K-Rail go to page 5 K-rails sold separately. -
While holding the pegboard in place, mark a line on your wall down the right side of the pegboard, then mark the center of the pegboard holes on your wall. Tip: You can omit drawing the line down the right side of the pegboard and install temporary screws into the 1st pegboard to hold it in position so you can align the 2nd pegboard up to it and mark the holes.
Hardware Used
BB 2” Screw (Optional) x 2
-
If you didn’t follow the tip in step 2, line up the next pegboard on the right side of the line you marked on your wall in Step 2 and mark the holes. Make sure to use the left side of your line for a tight fit between the pegboards.
-
Using a 5/16” drill bit, drill all 18 of the marked holes on your wall. Make sure to keep your drill straight and steady for a tight wall anchor fitting. After your holes are drilled, lightly tap the wall anchors all the way in.
Hardware Used
CC Wall Anchor x 18
-
Insert a screw and wall spacer into each hole on both pegboards.
Hardware Used
-
AA Wall Spacer x 18
-
BB 2” Screw x 18
-
Bring the pegboard up to your wall and align each screw to the wall anchor. Get them all started by hand with a few turns, then go back and screw them in. Tip: Do not tighten them all the way until you have the 2nd pegboard up in the same fashion. This will allow a little bit of wiggle room as you are tightening the screws to make sure the seam down the middle of the pegboards is tight.
Hardware Used
AA Wall Spacer x 18
BB 2” Screw x 18 -
Install hooks in desired locations using the hook screws.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS FOR OPTIONAL K-RAIL
-
See instructions included with the K-Rail for installation before proceeding to step 2.
-
You will need (2) K-rail to complete this assembly method. One K-rail to act as the lower support and the other as an upper support. At 32” in length, the K-rail is perfectly suited to hold the (2) 16”W x 22”H pegboards side-by-side. Position the lower K-rail in your desired location, ensure it is level and then secure to the wall per the K-rail installation instructions.
(Note: apply enough torque to countersink the installation screws into the K-rail to avoid interference with the pegboard.)
-
Once you have the bottom K-Rail installed, set the pegboards in the K-Rail groove and lean them up against the wall and mark the center of the pegboard holes on your wall.
-
Now place the upper K-rail on top of the pegboards and secure to the wall per the K-rail installation instructions. You will only be able to secure along the upper portion of the K-rail during this step.
Hardware Used
K-Rail Screws x 3
-
Carefully bend the pegboards out of the top K-Rail as shown and set aside.
-
With pegboard removed from the K-rails, complete installation of the upper K-rail by securing the lower portion per the K-rail installation instructions. Make sure to counter-sink the screws in this lower section so they do not interfere with sliding the pegboards in.
Hardware Used
K-Rail Screws x 3 -
Using a 5/16” drill bit, drill all 12 of the marked holes on your wall for the pegboard wall anchors. After holes are drilled, lightly tap the wall anchors flush to the wall.

Insert a screw and wall spacer in the holes on both pegboards. Set the depth and angle of the screw.
Hardware Used
AA Wall Spacer x 6
BB 2” Screw x 6 -
Carefully set the first pegboard in the lower K-Rail track and bend the board at the top into the upper K-Rail track. Now align each screw into the wall anchor and get them all started by hand with a few turns, then go back and screw them in.
Tip: Do not tighten them all the way until you have the 2nd pegboard up in the same fashion. This will allow a little bit of wiggle room as you are tightening the screws to make sure the seam down the middle of the pegboards is tight.
