Wagz® Freedom Smart Dog Collar ™ Quick Start Guide

CHARGE
Push the battery up into the charger and plug in the USB charging cable. The charger will show a red light while charging. Charge for 2 hours, or until the light turns green. -
TURN IT ON
Insert the fully charged battery into the collar. The collar light will illuminate white momentarily while it boots up. -
GET THE WAGZ APP
Scan the QR code with your phone’s camera to install the Wagz App, or search for “Wagz” in the iOS App Store or Google Play Store. The Wagz App will guide you through the rest of the setup process and will be your primary interface for your new Wagz Freedom Smart Dog Collar.

WARNING! The Wagz Freedom Collar is not rated to act as a primary pet
restraint device. Make sure your pet is properly secured and safe at all
times.
WARNING! The Wagz Freedom Collar has electronics that are sensitive to
extreme temperatures. Do not leave the collar in high temperatures for
extended periods of time.
WARNING! The Wagz Freedom Collar is a battery operated device. Allowing
your dog to chew on the collar device or the battery may cause damage to the
product, cause a fire hazard or be hazardous for your pet.
CAUTION: The Wagz Freedom Collar is intended for pets only and should not
be used with humans as a toy.
CAUTION: The Wagz Freedom Collar is not a medical device and it is not
intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. The Wagz Freedom
Collar is not a replacement for routine care by a licensed veterinarian.
CAUTION: The Wagz Freedom Collar GPS data and accuracy may vary based
upon location and is not guaranteed for indoor use.
CAUTION: The Wagz Freedom Collar is manufactured and tested to an IP67
standard. This means that the Wagz Freedom Collar is dust-proof and water-
resistant. It is protected from dirt, spills, splashes of water, drool, and
rain. When the collar is new, it can be submerged in a body of water up to a
meter deep for half an hour. Please note that as the collar is used, damage
and wear may affect the sealing.
CAUTION: The Wagz Freedom Collar works best when pet parents take the
time to train their dog, as with any basic obedience training program. This is
particularly important upon introduction. Spend time helping your dog
understand the location of geofence boundaries and the corresponding no-shock
stimuli that alerts them and keeps them safely contained. Wagz Inc., nor its
distributors and dealers can guarantee the system will keep a customer’s pet
within the established boundary. Accordingly, if a customer has reason to
believe that their pet may pose a danger to others, or harm itself, the
customer should not rely solely upon the Wagz Freedom pet containment system
to keep the pet from crossing the boundary.
NOTICE: To clean the Wagz Freedom Collar use a damp cloth and mild soap.
NOTICE: Operation of the Wagz Freedom Collar is dependent on use of the
mobile app, as well as the collar having adequate cellular network signal. The
performance of the Wagz Freedom Collar may vary depending on the cellular
network signal strength in a given location.
