Getting Start

Power On

Turn on your Blackview BV5200 by pressing and holding the < Power> button (found on the right side of the phone) for a few seconds.

Setup Wizard

Upon booting up, use Google Wizard to setup your Google account, sync, setup…. Customize all the software buttons, gestures and other features to your liking. If you later change your mind or need to make adjustments, simply adjust all of the settings after setup in the settings menu.

Migrating Data

Via Migration Asistant, you are able to migrate files and datas to your new
Blackview BV5200. All you have to do is install the app on the old device, scan the QR code when prompted, and select the items you want to transfer.

Insert SIM and SD card

  1. Take out the card slot and place the Nano card or TF card with the metal side facing down.
    Make sure the bevel angle is aligned with the bevel angle of the card slot and placed in the corresponding card slot.

  2. With the phone facing up, insert the card holder into the phone in the direction of the arrow.

  3. Restart the smartphone.

Connect Internet and Multimedia

Connect with Wi-Fi

  1. Swip the Statusbar Down, long press Wi-Fi

  2. Tap a found network and enter passwords to connect to it. When connected, you’ll see in the status bar.

  1. When Wi-Fi is on, your phone automatically reconnects to available networks it has used before.

Connect with Mobile network

  1. After inserting SIM card and restart the phone, press the to switch network on.
  2. Switch Mobile Network in use between two oprators.
    a. Long prees to enter mobile network settings.
    b. Press Default access and choose oprator corresponded.

  1. What sould I do if I can’t connect with nerwork?
    a. Check Statusbar to see if the signal is normal, if the signal simbol is poor, plese intend to move the phone to diffrent place.
    b. If you can make phone calls but can’t connect with internet. Please check APN settings, and call your Telecom service provider for help.
    How to set the APN: Click Settings – Click Sim card and mobile date – Choose Sim card – Click Access point names – Choose APN – Click Password.
    Please change the password to the last four digits of the phone number.

Connect with a PC

You can charge your smartphone, share files and internet to PC via USB cable.

  1. You will recieve a notification after insert the USB cable to PC, Tap it.

Cast your screen to a TV

  1. Long press to enter the interface of Screen Cast.

  2. Press The three points to enable wireless display.

  3. Then you will see Display that connecting to the same WLAN with BV5200, Press to Cast.

  2. Opt Long Screenshoot, then the screen will scroll down, tap the screen to capture the screen.

White list

By adding Apps to White list, you can keep them active in background, so you can recieve messages at real time, otherwise, the system will clear apps regularly for saving energy.

How to add Apps to White list?

If you don’t want the system clean Apps automatically, you can shut it down

Game Mode

In Game Mode, you can enjoy the game immsesively.

Note: To leave Game mode, you have to swip twice form side.

  2. How to reset The smartphone. Press the Power button and volume + 10 seconds to enter Boot mode, Press volume down to enter recoverty mode, opt Wipe data/Factory mode, use volume key to choose and power key to confirm.
  3. Why I can’t recieve message from social media (eg. Message”, Facebook) Check if the notification of the social media is on: Settings-Apps&Notifications-See all Apps-select the app-notification.
    Check if the app is locked in White list.

RF Exposure Information (SAR)

This device is in compliance with Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) limits for general population/ uncontrolled exposure (Localized 10-gram SAR for head and trunk, limit: 2.0W/kg) specified in Council
Recommendation 1999/519/EC, ICNIRP Guidelines, and RED (Directive 2014/53/EU).
During SAR testing, this device was set to transmit at its highest certified power level in all tested frequency bands and placed in positions that simulate RF exposure during use against the head with no
separation and near the body with a separation of 5 mm.
SAR compliance for body operation is based on a separation distance of 5 mm between the unit and the human body. This device should be carried at least 5 mm away from the body to ensure RF exposure level is compliant or lower than the reported level.
