HOW TO CONNECT WITH GOOGLE ASSISTANT
- On the Vont Home app, add and give a name to your smart bulb.
- Go to Home after opening the Google Home app.
- Select Set up device by clicking the Plus button.
- Google Works with Tap.
- Search for Vont.
- On the Vont Home Login Page, enter your registered email and password.
HOW TO CONNECT TO ALEXA
- On the Vont Home app, choose Profile, then choose Smart Integrations.
- Press Link, Alexa. You’ll be directed to the browser on your phone or the Alexa app.
- Wait for the success confirmation after tapping the link.
HOW TO CONNECT TO WIFI
To find your smart light, look for a button that says Find Devices or Locate Devices. To connect it to your router after it displays on the screen, touch on it. For the light to be fully connected, you might need to input your Wi-Fi password.
FAQs
Can these be used as a black-light like Philips bulbs?
Our Vont Smart Bulbs do not emit enough UV-A to be a true black light. However, you can set your lights to mimic the “black light blue” or violet color.
What is the difference between the Vont pro and the Vont color?
Vont Bulb Color Pro has all the fun features Vont Bulb Color has – but made better with a Cool White option. In this upgrade, you may slide from Warm White to Cool White to help you prep for a work or study grind and spark some deep focus.
Does this come with everything you need?
The package comes with 2 Vont Smart Bulbs as indicated.
How do you connect to echo show? Ours won’t connect.
I connected by the mark somewhere in the package and it let me put the app in my phone.
Must have Wi-Fi?
Vont smart devices can be controlled with the Vont Home app via Bluetooth, even without WiFi. However, to maximize the endless possibilities of your smart products, we recommend linking them to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
Does this support E27?
Yes, it does.
Can these bulbs be turned on or off via the app when I am not at home?
Definitely! The Vont Smart Bulbs can be controlled wherever you are so long as you can connect to the internet.
Will this support 220v?
No, it won’t.
Can you operate these bulbs using only Bluetooth (no Wi-Fi)?
Vont Smart Light Bulb has both a WiFi and Bluetooth connection. So, you can still locally control your lights via the Vont Home app through Bluetooth, but you can’t turn it on/off from the home screen. The same goes for rules and voice commands.
If I turn these off with a wall switch (thus killing the power to them), do they default to the last color/brightness setting or a factory default?
The Vont Smart Bulb will remember the last setting when turned back on.
Can you buy multiple bulbs to connect and use them at the same time?
Yes, you can. Using the Vont home app will allow you to turn on and off all your Vont smart bulb with one click.
Does it work with smart life app?
No. It will only work with Vont home app, google home app, and Alexa app.
Can these be used outdoors?
The Vont smart bulbs are designed for indoors only.
Will these work with new Wi-Fi 6 router?
No, our Vont Smart Bulb works with 2.4G internet only.
Can you use with Kasa app?
No. All you need is Vont home app to connect it to WiFi and control these Vont smart bulbs.
