Is Apple’s Homekit compatible with the Wink Hub 2?

I’m a huge apple fan, but I have to admit that with the Home Kit, Apple is a day late and a dollar short. Not the iPod here. That was a brilliant move of yours to arrive late with. In contrast, home outfit. It is undoubtedly quite secure. To charge more, though, is absurd unless you are extremely paranoid.

Does Alexa support this?

This does actually function with Alexa.

Does this have stand-alone functionality or, like the previous WINK, does it require a connection to WINK servers in order to function?

You must be connected to Wink servers in order for API devices like Nest, Ecobee, Alexa, Google Home, iHome, Hue, Arlo, August, etc. to function.

Are Nest items compatible with Wink?

Yes, I have three smoke detectors in addition to a thermostat. All are controllable with Wink 2.

When there is no internet connection but the local network is still operational, does the hub still function?

Yes. With Wink hub 2, lights and locks are made to function without an internet connection.

Does the Echo Show support this device?

The Wink website claims that it is compatible with Amazon Alexa, though I am unable to discern if this applies specifically to the Echo Show.

Does it function with Vitrum hardware?

Sincerely, I don’t know. I’m not very tech savvy. I’m sorry I was so useless. However, you may ask them, and they have fantastic customer service.

Does Wink operate smart televisions?

It all depends on what you mean by control. For example, can you use it to switch a TV on or off? Yes. Can you use it to change channels, volume, etc. like a TV controller? Not that I am aware of. Although, as I said, I am not aware of any TV that you can link to Wink or Echo for anything other than turning it on and off, I would imagine that in the future you should be able to use Amazon Echo or anything similar to control all features of the TV. Sending Wink and/or Amazon Echo an email to hear what they have to say would be a good idea.
