Introduction

Networked lights can interact with one another thanks to NetBright technology, which enables them to instantaneously turn on lights connected to the same network when one detects motion. A lighting system that is suitable for lighting residential, commercial, industrial, and hospitality sectors with an effective range of 150 feet.

Thank you for purchasing the NetBright® Motion Sensing Spotlight. Your spotlight was created to allow for multiple lights to work as a group in order to improve the conditions of your home, workplace or anywhere you need light. This technology contributes to a safer environment and provides bright light anywhere.

WHAT IS INCLUDED PER LIGHT

  • Wireless Spotlight
  • Mounting Base
  • 3 Screws
  • 3 Anchors

WHAT YOU NEED TO INSTALL

  • 1 Small Screwdriver
  • 3 D-Cell Alkaline Batteries

SPOTLIGHT FEATURES

  • MOTION/LIGHT SENSOR: Light instantly turns on when it detects motion from up to 30 feet away. The light sensor conserves battery life by preventing the light from activating in daylight.
  • AUTO SHUT-OFF: Light shuts off automatically after 20 seconds if no motion is detected.
  • FULLY ADJUSTABLE: Light can be rotated 360° as well as up and down.
  • BRIGHT LED: 200 Lumens covers up to 400 sq. ft.
  • DURABLE, WEATHER RESISTANT: Tight seals and UV resistant material allow the light to work in all weather conditions.
  • MULTIPLE LIGHTS: Spotlights will activate simultaneously when any spotlight within the network detects motion. They will deactivate simultaneously if no motion is detected in the group.

TIPS:

  • Use only new alkaline D-Cell batteries with 1.5V rating.
  • Do not mix old and new batteries. If batteries are not new, it may cause the light to malfunction.
  • Install batteries with polarity in correct position.
  • Light may activate when batteries are inserted. Simply take light into a dark room. Allow batteries to settle, then test activation.
  • If your light will not turn off, it means that it is time to replace the batteries.

  2. Push down on battery door tab to release. Insert 3 D-Cell batteries into Spotlight. Make sure when you are inserting the batteries, that the flat ends match up with the springs. Attach battery door by matching the tabs to the rectangular holes and then push down on front until door clicks into place. Light will turn on and stay on as long as there is motion.

FAQs

Do these lights have a sensitivity control for the motion sensor? (Don’t want the lights coming due to wind and tree leaves/branches).****

The motion sensor is a PIR sensor which detects heat. The lights should not activate with leaves moving.

If I purchase the 2-pack white and 1 brown separately, will they communicate with each other?****

we bought brown ones separately and they work fine. they come with two channels. just select the same channel for all.

If I buy a 4 or even a 2-pack network will they network with the previous ones I bought?****

Yes, you can use up to 50 NetBright-equipped spotlights on a single network.

dimension of the base? attempting to replace a faulty sensor light on my shed and there is already a hole where the wire runs to the power source.****

The base is about 3 inches in diameter. We do have the exact blue print on a PDF if you would like us to email it to you please reach out to customerservice@mrbeams.com.

Will they network with Alexa as well?****

No, these lights do not communicate via Wi-Fi so they cannot connect to Alexa. They can only communicate with other “Netbright” lights via Radio Frequency. If you are looking for the lights that will communicate with Alexa, you want to look for the Ring Smart Home Lights.

Has anybody tried using outdoor Command Strips for these?****

The lights are intended to be mounted with the included mounting screws.

Are these wheatherproof all 4 seasons?****

These spotlights are weather resistant in all 4 seasons.

This pack operate just in the. Night ? Or also on the day ? There is a clock to setup time schedules?****

This will only sense motion in the dark. There is not a clock to set up a time schedule.

Are parts available? Moving crew hit one and broke the outer case with the mounting tab. Would like to replace the case.****

We would be happy to send you a new housing for your light. We can be reached at customerservice@mrbeams.com or call 877-298-9082.

I live in Phoenix, where the air temp at night can stay in the 90’s. Will this cause the lights to not pick up motion?****

We have many customers who live in Arizona, New Mexico and Texas. The lights are able to work in the high temperatures and still sense heated motion. The only issue we have seen is that sometimes the trees retain heat and can set off the lights as well. The only thing we recommend is not placing the light in direct sunlight due to the motion sensor lens being sensitive the extreme UV rays in your area.

Will the mbn342 network with mbn346?****

Yes, they will. MBN342 is one pair (2 lamps). MBN344 is 4 pcs in a package. 346 is 6 lamps.

Is Rayovac an ok brand battery for this?****

It may be an appropriate brand for outdoor devices, but I prefer to use Duracell batteries personally. By choosing the brand that I use, I can suggest that you will easily have 90-120 days between changes.

Does this swivel so I can change the direction?****

Yes, it swivels. Great product. I own six.

Can I mask the motion sensor on one light so that the other is the only one that senses motion, but both turn on when that happens?****

Yes! You can cover the motion sensor (grey globe) with a piece of white electrical tape so that it will not detect any motion. Then any other light set to the same Network, will activate the light when they detect motion.

Will the motion of a cold car trigger the sensor as I back out of my driveway?****

yes, any object that passes through the line of sight of the sensor will set it off.
