Please read the information contained herein so that you can become familiar with your device quickly and take advantage of the full scope of its functions. Your multi-chopper will serve you for many years if you handle it and care for it properly. We wish you a lot of pleasure in using it!
Information on this manual
These operating instructions are part of the CASO Chop & Go cordless multi-
chopper (referred to hereafter as the Device) and provide you with important
information for the initial commissioning, safety, intended use and care of
the device.
The Operating Instructions must be available at all times at the device. This
Operating Manual must be read and applied by every person who is instructed to
work with the device:
- Commissioning,
- Operation,
- Troubleshooting and/or
- Cleaning
Keep the Operating Manual in a safe place and pass it on to the subsequent owner along with the device.

Safety
This chapter provides you with important safety notices when handling the device. The device corresponds with the required safety regulations. Improper use can result in personal or property damages.
Intended use
This appliance is intended for

Chopping, pureeing vegetables, fruit, meat, fish, tofu, nuts and much more

Blending and whipping dressings, dips, pesto and cream.
This device is intended for use in the household and for similar applications such as: -
in kitchens for employees in shops, offices, and other commercial areas;

in agricultural estates;

by customers in hotels, motels and other residential establishments.
Thanks to the long-life lithium-ion battery, it is suitable for household use and mobile homes, camping, picnics and similar. Uses for a different purpose or for a purpose which exceeds this description are considered incompatible with the intended or designated use. Do not chop very hard ingredients such as ice.
Danger due to unintended use!
Dangers can emanate from the device if it is used for an unintended use
and/or a different kind of use.
- Use the device exclusively for its intended use.
- Observe the procedural methods described in this Operating
Claims of all kinds due to damages resulting from unintended uses are
excluded.
The User bears the sole risk.
General Safety information
PLEASE NOTE
Please observe the following general safety notices with regard to the safe
handling of the device.

Examine the device for any visible external damages prior to using it.
Never put a damaged device into operation. -
Children must not use this appliance. Keep the appliance and its power supply unit away from children.

The device may be used by individuals with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or a lack of experience and / or knowledge of their use if they are supervised or have been instructed at to the safe use of the device and have understood the resulting hazards.

Children shall not play with the appliance.

Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children.

Do not operate the appliance with wet hands and do not run at noload.

Only qualified electricians, who have been trained by the manufacturer, may carry out any repairs that may be needed. Improperly performed repairs can cause considerable dangers for the user.

Defective components must always be replaced with original replacement parts. Only such parts will guarantee that the safety requirements are fulfilled.

Only customer service departments authorized by the manufacturer may carry out repairs on the device during the guarantee period, as otherwise the guarantee entitlements will be null and void in the event of any subsequent damages.

The appliance is equipped with a safety switch and only works when the work bowl lid and the motor unit are placed on the work bowl.

Remove the motor unit from the appliance when the appliance is unattended, not in use or being cleaned.

Unplug the USB-C charging cable before cleaning, maintaining, disassembling or assembling the appliance.

Do not leave the device unsupervised when it is in operation.

Do not operate the device when it is idle. The appliance is designed for short-time use. Operate it for one minute, then pause. After 5 minutes of continuous use, it stops automatically to protect against overheating.
Sources of danger
Danger of injury
By careless use of the device risk of injury exist because of sharp edges. Note the following warnings to avoid injury.
- The blades are very sharp, touch them exclusively at the drive shaft.
- Put on the blade guard when you are not using the appliance. After switching it off, wait for the motor to stop before opening the appliance and replacing accessories. Do not touch any parts that are still in motion!
- Never fill hot food / hot liquids into the device. Risk of injury! The device could be damaged.
- The appliance is unsuitable for chopping hot or liquid ingredients at a temperature of more than 75 °C.
- Do not place the glass container in a microwave oven or oven. Do not wash with hot water above 75 °C.
- WARNING: After chopping the ingredients, always remove the knife first and only then the chopped ingredients.
Dangers due to electrical power
Mortal danger due to electrical power!
Mortal danger exists when coming into contact with live wires or
subassemblies! Observe the following safety notices to avoid dangers due to
electrical power:
- Do not charge the appliance with a damaged USB-C charging cable or power supply.
- The device contains rechargeable batteries that cannot be replaced; therefore, never replace the battery with other batteries.
- Never disassemble the motor unit with the battery, expose it to high temperatures or throw it into a fire.
- Do not immerse the device, cord or plug in water or other liquids and do not place in the dishwasher.
- If the battery has leaked, ensure the skin, eyes and mucous membranes do not come into contact with the battery acid. In the event of contact with battery acid, immediately rinse the affected areas with plenty of clean water and seek medical help immediately.

This chapter provides you with important safety notices during the initial commissioning of the device. Observe the following notices to avoid dangers and damages:
Packaging safety information
Personal and property damages can occur during commissioning of the
device!
Observe the following safety notices to avoid such dangers:
- Packaging materials may not be used for playing. There is a danger of suffocation.
Delivery scope and transport inspection
The device includes the following components:
- CASO Chop & Go
- Blade guard
- Emulsifying disc
- Storage lid
- Spatula
- Blade unit with 4 stainless steel blades
- Container attachment
- Glass container with non-slip mat
- USB-C charging cable (without power supply)
- Operating manual
PLEASE NOTE
- Examine the shipment to ensure the unit and manual are included and inspect the unit for any visible damage.
- Immediately notify the carrier and/or the supplier about an incomplete shipment or any damage as a result of inadequate packaging or mishandling.
Unpacking
Carefully remove the packaging material and unit from the carton.
PLEASE NOTE
- If possible, keep the original packaging for the duration of the guarantee period in the event a return is necessary.
Setup location requirements
In order to ensure the safe and trouble-free operation of the device, the setup location must fulfil the following prerequisites:
- Place the device on a firm and even work surface.
- Choose the setup location in such a way that children cannot reach the device.
- Do not set up the device in a hot, wet or extremely damp environment or near flammable material:
Electrical connection
In order to ensure the safe and trouble-free operation of the device, the following instructions must be observed for the electrical connection:
- Before connecting the device, compare the connection data (voltage and frequency) on the rating plate with those of your electrical network. This data must agree in order that no damages occur in the device:

- The blades are very sharp, touch them exclusively at the drive shaft.
- Keep your fi ngers, hair and clothing away from the blades.
- Do not touch the blades during cleaning of the unit.
- Remove the blade guard carefully before using the appliance.
- After use, carefully replace the blade guard on the blades.

The type plate with the connection and performance data is located on the underside of the motor unit of the appliance.
Operation and Handing
This chapter provides you with important notices with regard to operating the device. Observe the following notices to avoid dangers and damages:
Before first use
Clean the device as shown in chapter: cleaning and maintenance.
PLEASE NOTE
- It is recommended to fully charge the battery before its fi rst use to achieve the best performance.
- Before use, ensure all parts are correctly assembled and in place.
- There may be a slight odour when using the appliance for the fi rst time. However, it is harmless and disappears with time.
Assembly
- Place the glass container on a stable surface.
- Grasp the blades by the drive shaft and carefully remove the blade guard.
- Place the blade unit or the emulsifying disc on the metal rod in the glass container.
- Put the desired food into the glass container.
- Put on the container attachment. Pay attention to the recesses and arrows of the container attachment and the glass container.
- Place the motor unit on the container attachment and slowly turn it clockwise until it locks into place.
- The battery indicator lights up when the motor unit is correctly fi tted and the appliance is ready for use.
Short term operation
The device is intented only for short term opeation. Operate the appliance for one minute, then pause the operation for a moment. Otherwise the motor could be damaged. If the appliance is used for a total of 5 minutes, it stops automatically to protect against overheating. Let the appliance cool down for about 15 minutes.
PLEASE NOTE
- If the load is too great, the appliance switches off automatically and all 3 lights fl ash 5 times. Release the speed button and reduce the load. Allow the appliance to cool down for about 15 minutes before putting it back into operation.
Operation
- Assemble the appliance as described under „Assembly“.
- Press the button of the desired speed level, and the appliance starts.
- When you release the button, the appliance stops working.
- After use, wait until the blades or the emulsifying disc stop before removing the motor unit.
- Remove the blade or emulsifying disc and empty the glass container using the spatula.
- If necessary, place the storage lid on the glass container.
Use speed I or II depending on the selected food and desired consistency.
Speed I – soft fruits and vegetables, e.g. onion, garlic
Speed II – hard fruits (without seeds), hard vegetables (such as carrots),
meat
PLEASE NOTE
- Tip! It usually takes only a few seconds to chop food. We recommend chopping the food at intervals.
If food gets stuck around the blade unit during use
- Release the speed button and wait until the blades have stopped.
- Remove the motor unit and the container lid.
- Use the spatula to loosen the food carefully. Do not use your fi ngers as the blades are sharp.
- After removing the food and the blades are free, reassemble the appliance and continue operation.
PLEASE NOTE
- Do not put more than 500 g of food in the glass container.
- Do not grind hard foods such as nutmegs, peppercorns, gristle, ice cubes, coffee beans or stones.
- Do not grind bones or meat with bones.
- The glass container is designed for 0 – 75 °C. Therefore, do not fill food that is colder than 0 °C and hotter than 75 °C.
- Before starting the appliance, always check that it is assembled correctly.
Recipes
Recipe for green pesto | Ingredients for 4 servings Ingredients:
- 50 g pine nuts
- 1 tsp salt
- 100 g grated or shaved Parmesan cheese
- 3 – 4 cloves garlic
- 3 bunches of basil leaves
- 200 ml olive oil
Preparation:
- Roast the pine nuts in a frying pan without fat until golden brown and leave to cool briefly on a plate.
- Peel the garlic, put it in the glass container with the salt, pine nuts and basil leaves and chop it.
- Add the Parmesan cheese and olive oil and continue to chop until the desired consistency is reached.
- For pasta dishes, mix the pesto with 1 – 2 tablespoons of pasta water and serve mixed with the pasta.
Recipe for a tomato-feta spread Ingredients:
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 200 g cream cheese
- ½ small onion
- 1 tsp basil (fresh or dried)
- Approx. 70 g dried tomatoes (preserved in oil), drained weight
- Salt, pepper, oregano
- 150 g feta
Preparation:
- Peel and quarter the onion. Next, peel the garlic and place it in the glass container with the onion. Chop for 5 – 10 seconds on speed 2.
- Add the cream cheese, tomatoes and seasoning. Chop and mix on speed 2 until a uniform consistency is achieved.
- Break the feta into small pieces and add. Gently mix in the feta on level 1 with the pulse control.
- The oil that the tomatoes were soaked in can also be used for seasoning. Mix in some of the oil in step 2.
Battery indicator during use
Using the appliance will discharge the battery. The indicator lights go out
one after the other from top to bottom and show the battery capacity.
- 66% to 100% of capacity: Lights 1, 2 and 3 all light up.
- 33% to 65% of capacity: Lights 1 and 2 light up
- 20% to 32% of capacity: Light 1 lights up
- < 20% of capacity: Light 1 fl ashes and the appliance needs to be charged
PLEASE NOTE
- The battery life depends on the consistency, texture and quantity of the food to be chopped. On average, the device has a battery life of up to 60 minutes.
Charging the appliance
- Open the charging connector on the motor housing.
- Connect the micro end (smaller end) of the charging cable to the motor housing.
- Connect the USB plug (larger end) of the charging cable to a suitable charging adapter.
- Plug the charging adapter into the power outlet.
- During charging, the indicator lights flash to show the charging progress. The lights stop flashing when the appliance is fully charged.
- Once the appliance is fully charged, remove the charging cable.
PLEASE NOTE
- It takes about 5 hours to charge the appliance fully.
- You can also use the appliance while it is charging.
- The appliance can be stored for up to 3 months when fully charged. If stored for more than 3 months, the appliance should be charged before the next use.
Display of the charging process
The indicator lights provide feedback on the status of charging during the
charging process:
• < than 33% of capacity: Lights 1, 2 and 3 fl ash
• 33% to 65% of capacity: Light 1 is lit continuously and lights 2 and 3 fl
ash
• 66% to 99% of capacity: Lights 1 and 2 are on solid and light 3 is fl
ashing.
• > than 99% of capacity: Lights 1, 2 and 3 are lit continuously.
Cleaning and Maintenance
This chapter provides you with important notices with regard to cleaning and maintaining the device. Please observe the notices to prevent damages due to cleaning the device incorrectly and to ensure trouble-free operation.
Safety information
Please observe the safety instructions, before cleaning your device:
- Unplug the charging cable from the appliance before cleaning.
- Clean the appliance immediately after each use. Extended waiting unnecessarily complicates cleaning and can make it impossible in extreme cases. Excessive accumulations of dirt can even damage the device under certain circumstances.
- If dampness penetrates into the device, this can damage the electronic components.
- Do not use any aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents or solvents.
- Do not scrape off stubborn dirt with hard items.
- Do not immerse the motor unit in water or other liquids, and do not put it in the dishwasher.
- The blades are very sharp; only touch them on the drive shaft.
- Be careful with them. Carefully place the protection caps and store the device only with the protection caps placed on the blades.
- Never leave the blades in soapy water so that they fl oat „invisibly“ in the water.
- Dry all parts before reusing or storing them. Store the parts, as well as sharp knives, out of the reach of children.
Cleaning
Motor unit
Do not immerse the motor unit in water or other liquids and do not put in the
dishwasher Wipe the outer surface of the motor unit with a soft, damp cloth.
Accessories
- Fill approx. 400 ml of lukewarm water into the glass container and add a drop of mild detergent.
- Operate the appliance on level 1 for approx. 20 seconds.
- Remove the motor unit.
- Separate the blade units from each other by turning blade unit A counter-clockwise and detaching it from blade unit B.
- All accessories can be washed in warm water or the dishwasher.
Dry the parts well after rinsing.
PLEASE NOTE
- Do not add more water or detergent as descrbied as the mixture may overfl ow.
Troubleshooting
This chapter provides you with important notices with regard to operating the
device.
Observe the following notices to avoid dangers and damages:

- Repairs of electrical appliances must be carried out by qualifi ed person who are trained by the manufacturer.
- Repairs performed by untrained persons may result in considerable hazards for the user and damage the machine.
Troubleshooting table

- Clean the device before you send it to customer service.
Disposal of the Old Device
Old electric and electronic devices frequently still contain valuable materials. However, they also contain damaging substances, which were necessary for their functionality and safety. If these were put in the non- recyclable waste or were handled incorrectly, they could be detrimental to human health and the environment. Therefore, do not put your old device into the non-recyclable waste under any circumstances.
PLEASE NOTE
- Utilise the collection point, established in your town, to return and recycle old electric and electronic devices. If necessary, contact your town hall, local refuse collection service or your dealer for information.
- Ensure that your old device is stored safely away from children until it is taken away.
Disposal of the packaging
The packaging protects the device against damages during transit. The
packaging materials are selected in accordance with environmentally compatible
and recycling-related points of view and can therefore be recycled. Returning
the packaging back to the material loop saves raw materials and reduces the
quantities of accumulated waste.
Take any packaging materials thatare no longer required to “Green Dot”
recyclingcollection points for disposal.
Guarantee
We provide a 24-month guarantee for defects caused by production or material
faults, beginning on the date of purchase. Our guarantee is valid for Germany,
Austria and the Netherlands. For all other countries, please contact us.
Your legal guarantee claims as per Art. 437 ff . German Civil Code (BGB) will
remain unaff ected by this. You may exercise your statutory guarantee rights
free of charge. The guarantee does not cover damage causedby improper
handling or use of the product or defects which have only a minor impact on
the product’s functionality or value. In addition to this, the guarantee also
excludes parts which are subject to wear and tear; transport damages insofar
as we are not responsible for them and damages caused by repairs which were
not carried out by us.
This product has been constructed for non-commercial use (domestic use) and
its performance is designed to meet the corresponding needs. The guarantee
only covers commercial use insofar as it is comparable to domestic use. The
product is not intended for any other type of commercial use. In the case of
legitimate complaints we may either repair the defective product or replace it
with a defect-free product at our discretion. Obvious defects must be notifi
ed to us within 14 days of the product’s delivery. Any further claims are
excluded.
When making a guarantee claim please contact us before you return the product
(always with the purchase receipt!). Our contact details (“Guarantor”) are
provided at the beginning of this instruction manual.
