Azpen A740 Battery Replacement
Replace the battery for a good performance of your tablet.

INTRODUCTION
The Azpen tablet device is not as complicated as it seems to repair. You just
need to be careful to the small details that it has to not cause permanent
damage to other components of the device. In our case, the battery has
connectors attached to it, if you are not careful with those, your tablet
could not work anymore.
TOOLS:
- Spudger (1)
- iFixit Opening Tool (1)
- Phillips #00 Screwdriver (1)
- Phillips #1 Screwdriver (1)
Step 1 — Back Panelb
- Use the plastic opening tool or black spudger tool to lift the back panel off the tablet.
Step 2 — Battery
- Use the set of plastic opening tools to separate the inner backing from the electronics.
- Unscrew the small size screws, with 3.75-3.85 mm approximately, holding the inner backing of Azpen A740 Tablet. Use the pentalobe screwdriver and plastic opening tool to pry open the inner backing.
Step 3
- Disconnect the black, red, and grey wires leading to the battery from the motherboard using desoldering tools.

Step 4**
- Remove the black tape that is holding the battery in place.
Step 5
- Remove the battery from the thermal paste that is under it by using the blue prying or black spuddger tool.
Put in the replacement battery and reassemble by doing in reverse order.
**** As you remove the battery it may be difficult to remove and it may bend.
Do not worry this is common with the removal of tablet batteries.
To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
