NOTE: Please inventory all parts now before connoting and if necessary, report any missing items to our tech line. This will avoid poten ally stranding your vehicle unƟ l any missing replacement parts arrive.

REMOVE STOCK EXHAUST SYSTEM:

Raise vehicle up on a hoist or rack to working height. If you don’t have access to a hoist or rack, support vehicle with jack stands.
WARNING:
Avoid serious burns! Allow your vehicle Ɵ me to cool completely before touching any factory engine components.
To ease prepare on and install on of your new kit:
- Apply penetraƟ ng lubricant to mounts, bolts and clamps before you remove them.
- Use stands as necessary to support parts as you detach them from your vehicle and again as you install new parts.
Support system with stands then remove (x2) nuts from driver side tailpipe fl ange. Disconnect its hanger from isolator to remove it. Finally, disconnect remaining (x3) hangers from isolators and remove tailpipe secƟ on.
NOTE: Reference driver side tailpipe when you disconnect passenger side hangers from isolators.
Remove fasteners and disconnect exhaust at front fl ange connect ons (x2). Retain (x4 ea.) springs and nuts.
Disconnect wire hangers from isolators then remove exhaust from vehicle and set it aside.
Remove and retain (x4) bolts that aƩ ach fi rst set of factory hanger mounts behind front flange connectomes.
INSTALL FLOWMASTER EXHAUST SYSTEM:
Remove nuts from stock and Flowmeter clamps, apply anƟ -seize compound to bolts and re-install nuts.
Support system with stands then remove (x2) nuts from driver side tailpipe flange. Disconnect its hanger from isolator to remove it. Finally, disconnect remaining (x3) hangers from isolators and remove tailpipe secƟ on.
NOTE: The image in this step is intended for illustraƟ purposes only and may or may not accurately reflect components included in your kit.
Connect (x2 ea.) front frame hangers (6) to resonators with rubber hangers (10). Place clamp (7) onto right (1) and Leo (2) resonator, then connect them to scavenger (3). Tighten clamps just enough to hold parts.
Place scavenger assembly into posy on to connect to factory exhaust. Set flanges together and secure mounts to vehicle frame with (x4) bolts (removed step 4).
Secure resonator flange with (x2 ea.) bolts ( 8), spacers washers (12), nuts and springs (removed step 3) as shown. Repeat this step on remaining resonator flange.
Place clamp (7) onto leŌmuffler (4) then connect it to scavenger, infer ng wire hanger into isolator. Tighten clamp just enough to allow for adjustment. Repeat this on passenger side with right muffler (5)
Adjust exhaust components for fi t; maintaining П⁄Ж” clearance and compensaƟ ng for suspension, travel and vibraƟon, then Ɵ gotten all clamps. Finally, fi t (x4) hanger keepers (11) onto each sideways hanger.
Recommended: Secure slip-fi t connectomes with a 1-inch tack weld then spray high-temp paint over each weld to prevent rust and premature corrosion.
