Introduction

Owner responsibility
WARNING: Processing of concrete and
stone by methods such as cutting, grinding or drilling, especially during dry operation, generates dust that comes from the material being processed, which frequently contains silica. Silica is a basic component of sand, quartz, brick clay, granite and numerous other minerals and rocks. Exposure to excessive amount of such dust can cause:
Respiratory disease (affecting your ability to breathe), including chronic bronchitis, silicosis and pulmonary fibrosis from exposure to silica. These diseases may be fatal;
Skin irritation and rash.
Cancer according to NTP and IARC */ National Toxicology Program, International Agency for Research on Cancer.
Take precautionary steps:
Avoid inhalation of and skin contact with dust, mist and fumes.
Wear and ensure that all bystanders wear appropriate respiratory protection such as dust masks designed to filter out microscopic particles. (See OSHA 29 CFR Part 1926.1153)
To minimize dust emissions, use water to bind the dust, when feasible. If dry

operation is necessary, use an appropriate dust extractor.
It is the owner’s/employer’s responsibility that the operator has sufficient knowledge about how to use the product safely. Supervisors and operators must have read and understood the Operator’s Manual. They must be aware of:
· The product’s safety instructions. · The product’s range of applications and limitations. · How the product is to be used and maintained.

Operation speed
If the product is operated on a new surface type, set the speed to 70% initially. When the operator knows the surface type, the speed can be adjusted.
Direction of rotation of the grinding head and the grinding discs
Seen from above the product, the direction of rotation is as follows:
· “R”: clockwise · “L”: counterclockwise
The operation result is best when the grinding head and the grinding discs rotate in the same direction.
During operation the product can pull to the side. The direction of the pull is related to the direction of rotation. The product pulls to the right when the direction of rotation is set to “L”. The product pulls to the left when the direction of rotation is set to “R”.
The side pull can help you operate the product for example near a wall. Set the direction of rotation to pull in the direction of the wall.
CAUTION: Steer the product carefully.
Make sure that the product only lightly touches the wall. The product is heavy and can cause damage.
To change the speed and direction of rotation of the motors
Change the direction of rotation regularly to increase the life and the sharpness of the diamond tools. The diamond tool segments are used equally and the contact surface continues to be as large as possible.
· To set the speed and direction of rotation of the grinding head, turn the potentiometer (A).

· To set the speed and direction of rotation of the grinding disc, turn the potentiometer (B).

Error messages
If there are errors, an error code and an error message are shown on the display of the remote control.
An error message has 4 parts. The message has one warning triangle (A), information about the warning (B),

Do the procedure shown on the display or speak to your Husqvarna service center. Push the “OK” button to close the error message.
If you close the error message and it does not show on the display again, you can continue to operate the product.
If the error message shows again, refer to Troubleshooting on page 44 or speak to your Husqvarna service center. If necessary, do an update of the software of the product.
If there are error messages not explained in this manual, speak to your Husqvarna service center.
Different types of error messages
There are 4 different types of error messages:
· Information messages help and give hints on how to operate the product. An information message is shown with a white text message symbol.
· Caution messages show that something is not correct. A caution message is shown as a yellow triangle.
· Warning messages show faults or safety warnings that can cause mechanical damage. The product will stop in a short time. The warning is first shown in full screen with a red warning triangle and text.
· Error messages show when the product is stopped because of a fault or safety error. The error message is shown in red with a white triangle and white text. When you accept (C) the error message, the triangle symbol is shown in the bottom bar (A).

Remote control HMI display error codes
When the product stops and the display shows an error message and an error code, a fault has occurred. If the messages apply to traction motors or battery, the product can only be operated manually. Then speak to an approved service agent. To continue to operate the product, the fault must be corrected. When the fault is corrected, make sure that the STOP/TRANSPORT/GRIND switch on the remote control is set to STOP.
When the warning symbol in the remote control comes on and the warning lamp on the product flashes quickly, a fault has occurred. To see the fault, press the bottom button to the right side of the display or select the “Machine status menu” and then “Active faults”.

Note: If the HMI display shows error codes 1>160, the error concerns the grinder and VFD.

Introducción

Responsabilidad del propietario
ADVERTENCIA: El procesamiento
