GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS
This radio remote switch has been designed for inside or outside use. It is a
radio equipment accessory, class III electric apparatus, with a very low
safety voltage ~12V. It is recommended to be used ONLY with the lighting
systems of the SeaMAID range, working under the same voltage. This radio
remote switch complies with IP65 degree of protection.
This radio remote switch also complies with international safety standards for
electric devises, especially the IEC 61059 – 1 : 2002 +A2
INSTALLATION
For a correct installation, the power socket which feeds the installation lamp
will have to possess a device of protection by residual current with a maximal
intensity of 30mA. This radio remote switch will be only connected to a ~12V
security transformer with double winding. The maximum power of the one channel
switch is 120W and the maximum power of the four channels switch is 240W (120W
per channel max).
The radio remote switch must be installed vertically against a smooth wall,
antenna on the top of the box. To increase the radio signal, it is recommended
to install the radio remote switch outside with a direct view to the emitter.
The manufacturer is not responsible in any circumstances for assembly,
installation or start-up of any electric components which have been inserted
or handled at locations other than its own premises.
ASSEMBLY
Before any installation, it is important to verify that the total power of the connected projectors is lower than the maxi power admitted by channel and by the radio remote switch.
- Before installing this switch, ensures that the power supply is turn OFF.
- Undo and remove the cover of the box
- Fix the box vertically against the selected smooth wall with antenna base on the top
- Screw the antenna on its base
- Connect the 12VAC power cable from the transformer to the INPUT connector (1)
- Connect the low voltage projector(s) on the corresponding channel
- Restore the current
- Proceed to the radio remote controller pairing
- Replace the cover and re-screw it
- Test all functions by pressing buttons O and X of each channel
MAINTENANCE
This radio remote switch does not require any type of maintenance work. When
the red LED of the remote controller does not light anymore, replace the 12V
MN23 type alkaline battery.
